Wow, these deck boards are way over the top beautiful! I couldn't believe how heavy these were just carrying them from my shed to the deck. I almost needed help. The color is a deep dark brown and placing them down next to my wooden deck boards makes mine look terrible. I am certain these will be a lifetime of durability and non-decay. Now, all I want is to purchase enough to actually build a new front deck, around 8x10. Couldn't be more excited and pleased. Thank you, Home Depot, for another top quality product.

The two-pack came in a long box with the ends padded and arrived undamaged. I am not sure they could have been damaged because they are very thick and heavy. The grain texture in the material is pretty good. You can tell they are not real because it is all one color, but that is okay. My wife wanted a walkway from our patio to the gate about six feet away. I used the planks to create the walkway. I did not have time to put the finishing touches on it; however, I plan to add a few small braces across the bottom to lift them up off the ground a few inches. They are easy to cut, I used a miter saw and had no issues going through it, and the cuts are clean. We have only had them in the elements for about a week, so not much time. We live in VA, and it rains a lot. So far, they do great in the moisture and are not slippery. We will be getting a few more to make it all the way to the gate, and I also plan to build the surface of a small bridge on one of my running paths with it. It seems like it will work very well for that.

This is good looking decking. It is very bold in its design and also very dense. The 25 year warranty reflects the quality of material used. The deck plank came with its own special screws as well. Each is coated for maximum longevity and protection against the elements. They are designed to be used without having to pre-drill holes in the decking. They work well and grip the material firmly. They do take a little bit of care to get them started and they efficiently remove a lot of material - see video. A T20 long bit is included but I didn't see this initially as it is almost the same color as the screws.

HOME DEPOT MIGHT WANT TO BUILD AND MARKET THIS PRODUCT. Think out of the box. No. Think of a box. I call this use for what many use as decking material my ROCK BOX. Many years ago I bought a home that has 3’ of landscaping rock surrounding the home. The bushes and Hostas have always have always had to fight for room to grow between the rocks. My solution was build a box that holds the rocks back but because it sits on the soil it HAS to be able to resist rot. This material is easy to work with using deck screws and construction adhesive. See the photos. I’ve made many of these in a variety of sizes.

We've come a long way in decking! At first, as a DIYer, these planks seemed expensive for replacement of my 12' x 16' deck. However, after doing the math and considering the cost and upkeep of another pressure treated deck, this decking system is very reasonable (especially if you are hiring someone to install). If you consider the cost of pressure treated lumber, sealer, stain and galvanized or stainless steel fasteners, this decking system is a better value. The planks are solid 1 x 6 (no need for 2 x 6) and cut cleanly and easily with a circular saw. The (HULK FASTENERS) Tiger cove brown #10 x 2 1/2" composite deck screws are self tapping TX20 head and a perfect color match. The balance of my order has not arrived yet so I cannot show you a finished project. I left the planks (unattached to anything) out in the Florida sun and rain for 5 days and they did not warp or distort in any way. Only time will tell if they will fade or "melt" like the recycled resin lumber I have used in the past. Given the fact the planks weigh in at approximately 15 lbs. I do not think warping will be an issue if the fasteners are spaced properly. They have a raised natural woodgrain texture making them slip resistant and the color looks great with my deck furniture. If they do not fade over time, this will be a worthwhile investment. 5 Stars!

The product overall is good. , nice wood texture and color is great. I installed it as fence. The only complaint I have is that it scratches very easily. I can't comment on durability as i just intalled them one week ago

Better than I thought. Great stuff

Product is ok. The issue I had was that I had to rip the board down. once I did that the board started to warp. The product is fine as long as you keep in the standard length.

Good quality dense decking boards. Very rigid, very heavy, easy to cut. Would recommend

You absolutely must predrill all the screw holes (even if you use the no drill fortress screws). I had zero room for error, but my first board split when I did not predrill. I predrilled all future holes as a result and had no issue with splitting of the boards.

This composite board are over price for the quality of the material. I’m a contractor, this board will easy break when it comes to assemble it, you can pre-drill each hole you will put a screw and still run a high risk of breaking the composite board. I don’t recommend using it.
