I was very easy and smooth cutting. I absolutely recommend them.

Strong enough to do heavier cutting than normal nippers, yet light enough to be manageable. Uniquely designed, shaped to neatly fit your hand. This product is well worth the $.

They make it easy to reach into tight spaces. The ratchet action helps with cutting branches that are a little thicket. I love them!

Very well made but too big for my hands to use effectively. Couldn’t get it open far enough and then be able to close it. The ratcheting design was powerful, just awkward for me to use. If you’ve got big hands this is the tool for you!

I went back and bought the second one for my daughter. Have been showing other family and friends how well they work. Tomorrow I’m buying two more for gifts. I’m in the yard gardening almost every day . They are a must have tool.

Handle does not fit an average woman's hand. Otherwise a good cutter.

The small black pin came off while I was using this pruner and now I can't use it after a few times of using it. So I don't recommend buying it. I only used it a few months. It was a waste of money.

Latching/ratcheting mechanism malfunctions more than it works as intended

Easy to use. Cuts well. Better than most hand help trimmers. Strong cutting jaws.

Opened the package and found the same as another review; unless you have very large hands, you'll need to use two hands in the open position. With one hand it only opens maybe half an inch. You would have to use your other hand to open it, put it on the branch, and then close it to cut. Very disappointed. Had similar but smaller Fiskars pruner with the ratchet for many years and loved it but it has had it's day. I'm returning these.

The ratcheting pruners are fantastic and easy to use on thicker branches. Small enough to cut close to trunk.

They work great! Fast at cutting and they clean up well. The safety closing mechanism is a must and should be on all trimmers to prevent opening when you are not cutting. However, just to be clear--these are not bypass pruners.
