This carpet tile was perfect for our basement projects. We built an office as well as an additional bedroom in our basement, and putting in this carpet was really easy to do. It looks really nice, and it is more comfortable than the concrete floor. It is not as thick as what I would call normal carpet, but we did not expect it to be that thick. One of the reasons for picking this type of carpet is that it is also suitable for exposure to water, for I have always said that it is not a matter of “if” but it is a matter of “when” you will get water in a basement. Also, if the carpet were to get damaged or stained or worn, then we can just pull up the damaged tiles and replace them. Planning for such future damaged carpet tile replacement is one good reason for ordering more tiles than you think you will need.

This item was used ro cover metal surfaces assist with traction and prevent tool damage. Sticky surface on the product is okay but by no means its “industrial” strength, i would go for a common brand name “industrial strength spray on glue”. Then apply this stuff for similiar applications. Also cuts and melts really easly at 700F. (For our application purposes).

We were looking for something quick and nice for the plywood floor of our bunkie attic space, and these carpet tiles were perfect. Easy to figure out how to lay down and quick to put in. Soft and a lower pile that seems good quality and somewhat dense. Seams met perfectly. Love them! Happy with the product purchase.

The peel and stick carpet squares worked great and look very nice. Very easy to put down.

These carpet tiles refuse to stick. Several requests for help from the company have been ignored. The quality is terrible and the customer service is even worse. I feel cheated.

You can install them on most surfaces, including concrete, tile, and low-pile carpet. It has a strong adhesive backing and seems to be durability. Would highly recommend these carpet tiles.

This product was easy to work with and turned out nice!

Still haven't finished installing the floor, but these tiles are extremely simple to install and are a relatively decent quality for the money. I'd recommend them to anybody for a cheap, yet good looking floor. That being said, let's see how they wear. (fingers crossed)

Great looking floor! Took about half an hour to 45 minuets to complete my sons bedroom floor. The adhesive seems to be pretty good. It’s very simple, peel and stick!

I ordered 4 boxes, 2 out of 4 different shades of grey. Warehouse obviously doesn't pay attention to dye lots. Had to order a 5th box hoping to get the right color. Had to put down what they sent, didn't want to walk on sub floor.

Hello Home Depot, I actually fell in love with these tiles. I would have given you 5 stars. I want to but I actually wanted to try these in a lighter kind of beige color but couldn't find any. However, please don't let that discourage you from buying this brand. It was so easy for this 62 year old female to install. I am still amazed at how lovely these look in my newly renovated home. Impressive FOSS....

Easy to install. So far no issues, has been down for about 3 weeks. Was alot thinner than I thought it would be but worked out for my basement floor which was not even remotely level..

This product work just like instructed.. we did use the bonding product before installing the carpet worked great..

It wasn't that expensive...and shouldn't be either. Used on a small area of bare Cement floor. Super cleaned it but still some just didn't stick very well. Didn't care for the instructions either..not that anyone REALLY needed them, but it was suggested to turn every other one 1/4 turn. That resulted in the seams being more visible. Should have kept them all same direction. Biggest problem now is finding a transition. The area used to have a Hot Tub and there's Ceramic Tile all around it and it's a different level. I'll have 8 different angles to deal with and everyone knows how hard it is to drill into Tile. It will be a challenge to keep the Miters perfect.

I read ALOT of the reviews before purchasing. Here is my take on it: Shipping - they arrived exactly when they said they would. Pricing/Quality - I paid for what I expected. These are definitely not high quality. They are not always perfectly square (Expected because of previous reviews). Color - I was expecting the colors to vary between the 8 boxes I purchased, I however did not have that issue. That being said, there was a lot more gray in the Ivory than expected. I would call the color I received "Dirty Oatmeal", I'm sure I could create a more "upscale" name like "Heathered Oatmeal", but for ease, this it what I call it. Install: I had no problems with removing the backing or the tiles sticking down. I received the tiles when it was in the 30s outside and immediately started setting up and laying down. You MUST make sure your floor is free of debris/dust. Also if you have imperfections, sub flooring slightly lifted at corners, chunks missing from concrete flooring, you WILL feel this through the carpet tiles. In some cases, depending on your lighting, you will also see it. Also per previous reviews, it is a great idea to paint the floor a similar color before applying. 1. because it will help with dust and adhesion, and 2 because these tiles are not perfectly square so you WILL have small gaps at times and be able to see the flooring from directly above. These tiles cut easily with household scissors (though I recommend new ones), a rotary blade as well as a box cutter. The box cutter was perfect for cutting after laying down a tile over a vent opening. Scissors for small detail work (like door openings/moldings), and the rotary cutter for long straight cuts. If you only have one of these tools you'll do just fine. Texture - The carpet is a lot softer than expected. It is totally comfortable to walk on barefoot, granted I've been walking on wood and tile floors, and very little carpet, for the last 8 years. In conclusion, I feel that I got exactly, if not a little better, than what I paid for and would recommend these if you are looking for something to put down that is inexpensive, relatively easy to put down, and don't need it to be perfect. (Though standing at the entrance to the room, they look darn near perfect!)

These carpet tiles are an easy, affordable alternative to roll carpet or vinyl. The finished product looks and feels nice, and adds warmth to a room. They're very thin and lightweight, and can be replaced as necessary without the need to pull the whole floor. Ours were installed on concrete, so we lightly glued each tile down.

This carpet was very simple to install. Installation was on prepared concrete flooring in my office which makes the adhesive backing adhere well to the substrate. It has thus far lived up to my expectations and was inexpensive as well, compared to the carpet store pricing quote I had been given.

Very easy to install looks nice feels good on your feet I installed on enclosed back porch looks like a million dollars lol.

Decent product for the price, but really poor quality control. 11 boxes all from the same lot, 1 much darker than the rest, 1 much thinner than the rest, several tiles within each box slightly out of square, and amount of adhesive varying from heavy to almost none from tile to tile.

Easy to Install

I purchased these to cover the space in the deck boards on a second story, screened porch appx. 256 sq ft-8'x32', . My goal is to keep bugs out, and things from accidentally dropping through to my lower porch. I got 2 quotes for a roll of outdoor carpet, which ranged from $230-$265, NO delivery included (Issue #1). I learned that the amount I needed would not fit through my screen door easily without being cut, and would likely be too heavy for me (Issues #2 & #3). These carpet tiles fell right in the middle costwise, they were delivered to my door, and were packed in individual, easy to carry boxes. At first look, they do seem thin and flimsy, not a high quality carpet. I followed the recommendation of another reviewer, and heated the adhesive side with a hair dryer before peeling & sticking with the hopes to promote extra adhesion. These were very easy and clean to install. I am pleased with the final result. I'm not expecting them to stay adhered, since it isn't recommended to use them on old deck boards, but I plan to try either spray adhesive, or carpet glue if and when they start coming up. Overall, I would buy these again, but I think they are overpriced.
