FRANKLIN BRASS SOMERSET TOILET PAPER HOLDER IN CHROME, GREY is sturdy and looks awesome in my small bathroom. I had the white ceramic toilet paper holder before this one was received. After installation, no repair was needed to the wall where the old one used to be. It is light weight and easy to remove the old roll and replace it with the new one.

The shape of the chrome holders blocks the TP spring-rod. The flare of the holders prevents the rod from setting well into the holes. The brackets that mount to the wall don't hold the chrome pieces firmly. The tiny set screws don't seem to catch the bracket properly. The kit comes with the hex key to tighten the set screws, but it's cumbersome and time consuming to use. The description includes "GREY" but the holder is all shiny chrome.

The Franklin Brass somerset toilet paper holder looks great and easy to install. Cut out and tape up template after making it level then drill through the paper in the marked spot for easy mounting. I like how this has the allen wrench for the set screw. Less chance to strip out (like regular straight screw) and keeps your hand away from the wall. Set screw securely mounts the holder to the wall. Kit has everything you need, including drywall anchors. Easy to install and looks great!

The toilet paper holder is based on a spring loaded plastic tube between two solid posts. The finish is excellent and the posts are very rugged. Due to the large base they will be solidly mounted on the wall. They mount with a bracket which is screwed to the wall and a set screw locks the post to the bracket. It is always preferred to mount on a block behind the sheetrock, but due to the large base mounting on sheetrock is ok with the provided anchors. The plastic tube interferes with the post on the inside edge and it does not extend into the post as much as I would like, but it is sufficient to hold the roll

This Franklin Brass Somerset toilet paper holder comes in grey chrome. The style looks very classy and shiny but I have to be honest, it was awful to install. The area it was being installed on the side of my vanity was where the old one was and I assumed it would be easy to just replace it but the tiny screwdriver to fasten it after it is in position is way too small to get into the spot underneath and it was hard to even see it. The instructions were clear and came with all the parts needed (including the anchors for drywall). It does look nice but I would not purchase this again just because of the installation issue with the tiny screw at the bottom.

This very high quality Franklin Brass Somerset Toilet Paper Holder has a beautiful shiny chrome finish. The center spindle is plastic but matches the chrome finish of the end posts. This set comes with all the hardware required - two installation brackets, four screws, four plastic anchors for installation in sheetrock and even an Allen Wrench for tightening the bottom set screws.

The base parts are a little smaller in circumference than I expected, but it is a pretty design and the chrome is very shiny. The toilet paper holder shaft is made of plastic and the base parts are made of metal. It comes with installation hardware and instructions. The instructions were easy to follow and the installation was fairly simple to accomplish.

The Franklin brass Somerset toilet paper holder is pretty sharp-looking. It was easy to install and can hold a large roll of toilet paper with no problem. It has a little bit of weight to it and does not seem to be cheap and flimsy at all. The finish on it is a nice shiny chrome and it is easy to keep clean. I would definitely recommend this product.

Easy to install and sleek design. Well built side posts that secure very well to the screw in plates provided. I am slightly disappointed that the toilet paper holder bar itself as it is of the same caliber that bargain brands use. With the sides being so impressive, the spring bar that holds the paper roll doesn’t mesh well with the design of the side posts. It does hold and support the paper roll just fine, but seems to me that a slight flair in design (a bar that slightly confirms to the side posts) would really elevate the whole product.

It arrived in great unharmed condition. Beautiful nickel finish. Very easy to install. I would say if you can use a screwdriver you can easily install it. It looks great against my antique door. One recommendation I would make is to use a level to make sure its straight. As with every project always make sure you wear good quality eye protection. Safety first. Always.

I've installed four of these without issue. They're a cost-effective alternative (to the Delta toilet paper holders) and a perfect match to the Delta Lahara fixtures. I'm happy with my purchase.

This is beautiful. I had a little trouble installing it, but I'll admit I'm a woman, and this was my first installation of a tp holder. I screwed the brackets in wrong side up. The drawing was not helpful. If you actually know what you are doing, this won't be a problem for you. The template worked perfectly for aligning the holder. It is very sleek and matches my other brushed nickel accessories.

Love the sink however keep in mind that you have to clean and oil the sink continuously other than that it is wonderful.

This was a very poorly designed product. the curve of the two side pieces made it nearly impossible for the actual roll holder to stay put in the holes. We returned immediately.

Not functional unfortunately. The design of this TP holder doesn't keep the middle piece within the two side pieces of hardware. Needed to return. Beautiful color (venetian bronze) and great with other matching pieces we have of Franklin Brass. Just not a good design for this TP holder.

Nice design. Unfortunately, the toilet paper bar does not fit correctly into the holes in the two sides. Definitely a design flaw. Am returning the item.

Great toilet paper holder, looks nice

The piece in the middle to hold the toilet paper would not stay between the two end pieces. I didn't even bother installing it since just holding it the piece would pop out of the two side pieces. The tapered holders are a flaw in the design.

Bought this as a set with the ring towel holder. Marking this with 1 start because the bath tissue bar is plastic not metal.

the insert areas on each end of the bar are not long enough for it to be stable in the wall mount ends. Poor engineering

I purchased the tp holder, towel ring, and robe hook in satin nickel. Products are simple, solid and elegant. Price is reasonable. My husband had no problems with installation. Also, perfect match for our Moen faucet.

Great brushed nickel product. We replaced the old holders with these to get it all to match. You can reuse existing dry wall screws which make the upgrade simple.

Came ready to put on the wall. Satin Nickel looks good & like it will last. It came in only a few days.
