These are nice so you don't have to change out the inflator for a pressure gauge repeatedly until you get the pressure you want. I am not talented enough to lock this on with one hand and I can't do it in gloves but I don't use it regularly either. The grip is rubberized and beefy enough that it fits well in my hand. The gauge has a button for a light and I can read it adequately. One drawback to this model is the chuck tip is not threaded so if anything goes haywire I'll have to change out the whole hose.

With winter coming I thought having a good tire gauge would be a "nice to have" This Freeman tire inflator seems like a good choice. I like the fact that it tells you the current pressure of the tire before inflating; good time saver. One word of caution, the maximum pressure of most passenger car tires is 40 psi. To avoid overfilling & potentially blowing up a tire, I set my regulator pressure to 40 psi. The fact that the inflator has a built-in gauge helps to avoid a serious safety issure.

The chuck connects to the tire stem at a 90 degree angle and then locks, making it easier to fill the tire without working to keep the inflator on. This digital tire inflator saves a step because you can measure the tire pressure as you add air to the tire from your compressor rather than having to use a separate gauge. The light is a very good addition as it makes it easier to read the gauge which is a good size to easily read. You can change PSI units to other international units of measuring air pressure using a button right beside the light. It's very sturdy & makes adding air to your tires simple.

Digital Tire Inflator with 90 Degree Lock-On Chuck I love this Freeman Tire Inflator. It makes adjusting tire pressure a breeze. The large digital dial display is very easy to read and there is a back light in case you are adjusting air pressure in the dark. The air hose is nice and long making it easy to reach the tire while still being able for the user to read the display. The lock on chuck on the end of the hose is at a 90 degree angle making it possible to get on valves of smaller tire without kinking the hose or bending bicycle spokes. The lever handle has two easy to use settings. Fully depressing the handle fills the tire with air. Squeezing the handle halfway allows air to be removed from an over inflated tire. Freeman has almost thought of everything. The only thing I did not like about the inflator was that the dial does not swivel back and forth for easier viewing in tight areas. That being said I would definitely recommend this Freeman Tire Inflator to anyone that wants to make adjusting tire pressure simple, easy and quick!

great for checking and filling tires

Seems well made and arrived quickly. Haven’t had a chance to use it yet.

battery was DOA, instructions are poor and the unit inflates a bike tire but does not accurately display the pressure, the numbers DECREASE as the tire is inflated.

This tire inflator works perfectly for my situation. I have a motorcycle with wire spoke wheels and I need the angled head in order to reach the valves. Also, the digital readout is precise and easy to read, and the main body is solid and allows you to get a good grip.
