Love it so much! It’s the perfect elevation for my cooktop and kitchen!

The cook top is powder coated and on the first use the power coating came off. Not a good product.

Hard to clean always look dirty and takes away the beauty of the stove

Enjoying the ability to cook pancakes, tortillas, French toast, grilling breads, etc.! Easy to clean with hot water!

Excellent add on to the range top.

If anyone has ever cooked or used in any way, a cast iron pan, please be aware of PRE-SEASONING the pan before you first use it. Then, depending on the amount of times you use it, you must re-season the pan to give you the life-long cooking experience you will have with it. If it is Rusted, no problem. It is still good and usable after a good cleaning and re-seasoning. Don't discard these pans ! PLEASE google Seasoning a Cast Iron Pan to learn about this. ** I am sure the instruction from GE had made that point, if anyone read it ! I own cast iron pans, but was looking to purchase this addition to my GE 30" gas cook top when I began reading these comments. Gave it only 4* since I have not yet purchased this one pan.

This is a great addition to the stovetop. You have to season the cast iron by heating very thin layers of oil to the smoke point, to form a thin polymer layer. After that it's pretty non-stick. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that it wobbles just slightly, like it's a teeny bit warped. But it's a great feature to make the stovetop more useful.

The griddle is very useful. I leave it on the cook top all of the time to make it easier to use. I have cooked fajitas, salmon, pancakes, breakfast sausage and eggs. It's versatile. It's heavy. It needs to be oiled and front cooks a little hotter than back. You have to experiment with the temperature a little. For instance pancakes can be cooked on medium, then turn to low after you flip them. It's fun to cook on it.

Griddle's surface is very rough. Definitely not non-stick.

works great for pancakes, jerk chicken and pan sausage. I spray mine with oil after use. I have only had my new stove top burner and this grill for one month but I will definitely be using it a lot.

Make sure to season the cast iron before the first use

I bought this item for my cook top and it started to look nasty right off the bat, so I went to my Home Depot to try and return it and the customer service rep told me I could not return it, I can't remember what excuse she gave me. I think that the item comes from the manufacturer and not them? She was of no help. Now, the item has rusted severely and I can not cook food on it. I do not want to make my children and family sick. I paid $75.00 for an item that I can not use!

Nice design and fit for my cook top. Large enough for making a family breakfast. I liked the little reservoir for grease or food scraps, overall a good design!

Quality

This is one solid, heavy duty griddle and built to last. Surprisingly heavy. It fits right on the GE 5 burner cooktop and is much safer than using a loose griddle.

Fits the GE 30 in. stove perfect. It didn't seem well seasoned so I put it through a seasoning process and it has been much better since. It is no heavier than I would have expected for cast iron griddle, but it is a bit heavy if you unfamiliar with cast iron

This griddle fits our new gas cooktop perfectly. Very well made and heavy. Makes a nice job of pancakes and grilled sandwiches. Highly recommended.

To small and already began rusting. For the price paid ($70), I could have purchased a small high quality cast iron skillet for 1/3 the cost. I am. Professional kitchen designer and avid cook and PLEASE do not spend your well earned money on this product. It s a complete “miss”!!!
