The only reason I give this microwave air fryer convection only four stars; the mfg user manual no help; better yet the mfg should have included a cook book with instructions how use unit. With that being said the microwave does everything well, especially like the led light over the stove; three speed exhaust fan is quiet at lower speeds and work well.

I've had my combo microwave a little iver a month, and it does everything I was hoping it would. It has been easy to learn the settings. The only thing I would recommend is some kind of cookbook with recipes and preferred settings for each feature. Otherwise, we are loving it!

Love my new GE appliance!! It’s all black which matches the rest of my GE house appliance. It works wonderfully in the many different features it comes with. Very happy with my purchase!

I replaced a very nice GE Microwave installed in 2007 with this Microwave/ Convection/ Air Fryer and I couldn't be happier. It is a little deeper than my previous model, but it wasn't really noticeable once installed. I have used all of the functions and just love being able to put the Ninja away since I have a much better cooking solution now.

It does a lot. Have to learn it to get the most from it.

We always had GE products and have alway been please with them we would highly recommend them to anyone

This is an amazing replacement for my old over the cooktop microwave and a welcome addition to the kitchen update to all GE appliances ( Cooktop,Fridge, & Wall Oven ). The additional benefit of the convection and airfryer within the mircowave allows me to take back more counter space as I can now elimate the stand alone (Ninja Airfryer ) cooker and move it elsewhere or pass it on to family/friend.

Great microwave, easy to use controls, great buy

The unit is beautiful. The features are there. How to use them is not so clear or confusing. The manual won’t help you. Like Do Not have the metal touch the sides when using convection. It sparks and creates a non removable fire stain. Every time I use it I notice this stain. The unit is barely deep enough to hold the metal plates. Why not make the plate smaller or have grooves to prevent this? Turned a beautiful unit ugly. I mostly use the microwave.

Love how it looks in my newly remodeled kitchen, and I love all the additional features.

Do not like to have to remove rack and disc every time I use the microwave.

This microwave was to replace the one we had in our previous home which was an earlier model but had the same features. The earlier model had a plastic exhaust cover on top which broke easily however this new one had that problem resolved and seems more durable. We love the combo bake feature and the new air fryer feature. I did the installation myself with little fuss. The oven looks great and functions perfectly. The exhaust vent is adequate for venting cooking smoke and steam and the LED light is very nice. The older model left back with our previous house is twenty years old and still functioning today. We will stay with the GE product for longevity and quality.

I am very happy with the purchase but would like better instruction on utilizing the air fry feature. Either I am not correctly setting it for air fry or if I am setting correctly it does not air dry as well as the separate air fryer. It is an excellent microwave and convection oven.

We bought this model as it was highly recommended. The microwave works well. We tried the air fryer and were very happy with the performance.

Very happy with my new oven. Easy to operate. I missed not having my oven for 2 months and it is great to have a high functioning convection microwave.

Poor quality it doesn’t last long! I’ve had microwave for almost 2 years now and it stopped working. It doesn’t heat my food anymore. I have an appliance technician service call scheduled. Let’s see what happens.

I’m learning how to use it. I’ve already made wings a couple of times using the air fryer.

Such a classy looking microwave. Can a microwave look classy I might ask? I wasn't sure about the knob and no numbers to touch as with the older models. But it's just fine. It's all about being flexible. The interior is a shiny stainless steel... just beautiful 💖

We purchased this from a big box store, we have not had time to really use it as Florida is our 2nd home. It has less than 5months of use. The turn table is now inoperative. Having two households full of GE appliance’s, we have had great success. But this model has failed us. The 2nd over the counter microwave machine to do so. The rest of the GE line has been good, the over the range microwaves, two out of three failing? The math speaks for itself.

Awesome microwave. This thing is loaded with extras. Being able to air fry and use as a convection oven makes cooking through the week very convenient.

I’ve only had installed for two days, but so far I’m overjoyed with the purchase. The microwave has exceeded our expectations with its functionality.

I have purchased 3 of the GE Profile PVM9179SRSS over-the-range(OTR) combination microwave and convection ovens. I own a number of leased properties, and these appliances are full of features, well built, easy to use, and include a very nice convection oven in addition to the microwave features. It's a marvelous combo to have in the kitchen! The convection oven allows one to use it just like a regular convection oven and this proves to be a worthwhile capability in the kitchen. It allows you to bake or roast with ease plus you have a feature filled microwave as well. During holiday time when oven space is at a premium, the convection oven permits you to have a 2nd oven, or a 3rd oven if you happen to have double ovens in your kitchen. Also, during times where you want to bake cookies or cakes, etc., and don't wish to use the larger oven, this OTR appliances makes it happen and with ease. The PVM9179SRSS has proven to be well built as well, looks great in the kitchen and it's easy to clean too. In addition, it is loaded with all kinds of useful features. For this reason, I am replacing any standard OTR microwave ovens with this awesome GE Profile PVM9179SRSS in my leased properties. I only choose top quality appliances for my leased homes because durability, features and reliability are paramount to my residents as well as to me. This appliance is a true winner and I highly recommend it to anyone. It may cost a bit more, but the convection oven and ruggedness for daily use makes it very cost effective for the long haul. Thank you GE! Please keep making this type of over-the-range combination convection oven with a microwave oven. It's a fantastic design.
