I installed this unit myself. The only thing I noticed was the wire nuts at the 125amp breaker from the generator head were only finger tight. Seemed wrong so I tightened them down. I am pleased with the WIFI Mobile Link. The Exercise Mode at a reduced RPM was impressive. When I tested the unit under load, it was as quiet as you would want your generator to be.

This product appears to be a well designed, quality product that when tested performed as designed though did require next day service to function as designed due to improper installation and set up (link was not established resulting in red light and thus shutdown. As a medical necessity customer this product is critical to me. The quality and functionality of this product merits quality installation of which I did NOT receive and have not received mediation as of this date (cable trenching, outside box, pad holes underneath, yard repair, electrical short or arc which shorted out my cable television box).

I decided on a full house generator and am very satisfied with function and quiet operation of 5his liquid cooled, fully automatic unit.

We are impressed with the size and how quiet in runs. With only what we saw at other residences, we thought our 38K generator would be much bigger and louder. And, when it arrived, we were surprised at the compact size and how quiet it runs. We do love the app and see it helping us keep up with the weekly exercise routine and maintenance. Really cool unit !

I can't say enough about the full package of installation. Very professional and complete. This generator is amazingly quiet and so far has worked flawlessly. It starts up and switches on in just few short seconds and so far has been very reliable. It's easy to maintain and looks very good and has a small footprint in my yard. Looking forward to now being protected from any further problems with the power grid in Oklahoma.

About to start up and test 38 kw in a couple days. Installation and electrical set up has been excellent.

Prior to purchasing I spent some time evaluating gen set units for installations in our family properties. My research over two years and 40+ years with propulsion, engines and electrical generation led me to Generac. I am completely satisfied with the unit. The system is only as good as the installation. The installer Ready Power was beyond excellent. Standards that meet National Electrical Codes and Piping Code standards. The engine is one part of a emergency power system you select. Choosing the correct installer will ensure that you have a reliable and safe system that will last a long time if properly exercised and properly maintained.

This is my second Generac Quietsource Genset. My first was a 22kw at a previous home installed in 2009. It's provided power flawlessly for the last 10 years, so when I moved into my new home, I didn't hesitate, I purchased my new 27kw Quietsource genset immediately. This generator is everything and more I came to appreciate in Generac. Well built, quiet, and great looking. I'm actually looking forward to losing my power!

When the power has gone out, we were completely and effortlessly protected. Everything in the house was powered. It is so quiet that we have had a hard time knowing that the power grid was down. My neighbors are amazed how quiet it is. No more concerns when ice and thunder storms approach. The green status light on the generators digital display is a constant reminder that we are protected.

not been impressed with this product, finally got all the parts and panels to get this machine up and running, on the very first weekly "practice run" it didn't work. there have just been a ton of little things that don't seem to be going smoothly, for a machine this expensive, you can't have that.

My new GENERAC 38KW Generator is phenomenal. It's easy to use, the moment we experience a power failure the GENERAC Generator immediately starts up and we have no power interruption whatsoever. The maintenance of the generator is simple and is completed rapidly since access to all maintenance steps are easy access. I love my GENERAC and my personal TAG LINE is: GENERAC HAS MY BACK! This is part of a new construction home. It’s big enough to power 3300 sqft of living space as well as a pool and multiple fridges. Runs quietly especially after startup. Only needed once so far when power went out and only noticed a small blink of a power outage.

Best investment I've made. Have had 2 power failures in my area since install and generator never failed us. Has run over 20 hours in last month since install while we stayed comfortably inside.

The delay in getting the product was excessive. Upon delivery it had damages to the enclosure. It also was set up for natural gas and we are propane. We had to wait for the part to correct this before install was completed. We are still awaiting replacement parts to correct the damage to the enclosure. These are to come from the installing business. The unit is installed and operating even though it is pending receipt of the parts.

I just had this installed in June 2023. Can’t say much about it except it seems to operate as advertised so far.

Waited 16 months, finally installed, still does not work.

Love the product. However, the service guy install the auto alert system on my unit and no one ever call to help me set up the system on my phone.

I had my first Generac Generator probably more than thirty (30) years, I actually can't remember how long ago we purchased it, maybe longer than thirty (30) years ago. It was a permanent installation on natural gas and I think if I remember correctly it was an 10kW unit and I never had an ounce of problems with it. I serviced it regularly and it exercised weekly. We moved from Southwest Kansas to the North Texas Area and immediately I started working on obtaining another Generac Generator, no questions asked about any other brand, it had to be a Generac Generator. Here we required a 38kW unit powered on L.P. Gas/Propane. It has only been installed a couple of weeks so I don't have much of a track record, but I don't expect any issues of any type with the unit. My visual examination of the unit, confirms that it is superbly built. The installation is exactly as I anticipated with no variation whatsoever from the first. All in all on a scale of one (1) to ten (10) with ten (10) being excellent I would give it a ten (10) without a doubt.

I really can’t give an honest opinion about the operation of the unit yet because I can’t seem to get it operational. 😞

My 38 KW is something I cherish and I'm so grateful for the installation. Justin and Peter and their team were all so helpful.

During first startup inspection, the tech discovered an issue and couldn’t start up. A couple of weeks later, they came out again with replacement part and found yet another issue. This has been a huge disappointment. How many times do I have to make a warranty claim on a unit I have never been able to start up? A replacement should have been offered. Obviously this is a bad unit.

The generator was installed sooner than expected. Hook up took a full day, digging trenches, transfer switch, wiring and test run. Slab was poured 2 weeks prior to generator install. Technician provided an excellent overview of features and maintenance. Setting up touch pad and Wi-Fi straight forward. As recommended by technician I have been running generator a couple ours per day with a load to break in and perform first service. Generator Carries whole house with no issues, 2 central hvac units. To date no power outage experienced. So far we are completely satisfied with installation and generator performance. The generator is much quieter than the 3600 rpm air cooled units.I recommend installing generator on a stand.

I had a 38kW Protector QS generator installed by Specialized Power Solutions and the entire process was excellent. From quoting, to installing to testing and maintenance I could not ask for better.
