I have several Globe Smart Plugs in my Globe Suite app and I was happy to add these Globe Smart Bulbs as well! The app is easy to set up and is capable of setting scenes for your bulbs as well as being able to set a schedule for them. I did discover that I was unable to use them in a dimmable fixture, (even though they may be dimmed through the app) , and the fixture you wish to place them in must be plugged directly into an outlet (not plugged into a power strip) in order to have the app identify them. I used both bulbs in a family room lamp and found that it was necessary to set them up one at a time. I used the schedule to set them up to turn on at 6pm and off at 11pm every day. I use the "focus" setting at 100% for a bright light most of the time, but I occasionally use the lower "comfort" setting as well. There is also a "relax" setting. I previously had a different manufacturer's smart bulbs and they needed a hub in order to work - these bulbs are much easier to use!

I was not convinced this was the product for our home until I installed the two bulbs and smart plug and now can’t stop playing with it. Works great and not difficult at all to set up. A matter of minutes as long as you have compatible 2.4 internet recognition. Simply download the Globe app to your smartphone then a few times flip on and off turning the power to the bulbs so they sync, one at a time to your router and once recognized you are ready to go. The system works great you can control your power from anywhere as long as you have Wi-Fi to your phone. Plug in almost anything that you can control from your phone. Many options as to what you can use this for. Great product I am very satisfied of how it operates and would recommend this product to everyone. This unit is even so sophisticated you can control it with your voice. I am amazed. Two thumbs up.

This set of smart light bulbs and plug are of good quality and a great alternative for adding smart home features to your home like voice activating or triggering the turning on/off the lights based on certain conditions (temperature, weather, schedule, sunset/sunrise, etc.), simply using the Mobile app, or the wall/power switch for a traditional approach. The energy saving light bulbs included can replace existing light bulbs in any of the existing light bulb sockets and working right out of the box in a traditional way. Instructions for setting them up with the mobile app (Globe) were easy to follow, however, it was a bit hard to get them to synch. It took me a good 5 tries before they finally synched. I set up mines replacing my living room lamp lights as these were the most used, distant in the house, and I wanted to control remotely via Alexa, which is possible only after synching with the Globe mobile app and then adding the “Globe” skill to Amazon Alexa. The Globe mobile app allows you to access all the devices features which have a multitude of conditions and device specific tasks you can get done.

This is a very easy to use starter kit. I use Google home and it worked seamlessly. Simply downloaded the app and linked it to my Google home account. The light bulb could not only switch on and off but also can be dimmed and even the hue or color can be adjusted so that if you want a warm dim light or a lighvery brightt you can do that by simply touching the screen. It's bulb works in any normal place that you can put a lightbulb. The plug also worked very easily simply plug it into the wall and then plug n your other light, appliance or power strip and you can easily adjust that outlet to either turn on or off with the app or you can schedule a cycle for it to go on and off automatically. I used it for our Christmas light display inside. It works great with the scheduling functions and was very easy to use. I also really like that this plug is a grounded plug to allow three prongs If you want a way to easily start making your home a smart home this is a good first product.

The light and switch are very well built. Easy to reset the light, unlike others that require a reset code, these you only have to use the light switch in a certain sequence and the light goes into pair mode. The switch is easy as well, with the push of the button for 10 seconds, it goes into pair mode. The control is nice, I like that I can change the tone of the light from yellow to a daylight white. Very nice. I have Alexa so I know it works well with that. Easy to detect and control. The switch is the same. The only thing you have to know, if you have a dual band router that auto selects between the 5Ghz and 2.5Ghz you will have to turn off the 5Ghz or the devises will not connect to your Wifi. they are 2.5Ghz only. Not an issue, just something to note when you try to set up the devices. I have had this issue with others so I knew how to do it.

Out of the box the bulbs look pretty much like any other LED bulb you see in the store. But once you get them on your WiFi network you can change the warmth (Whiteness intensity ) as well as the brightness in situations when you need more or less light. For my home WiFi network using the alternate method of the sub-route network the device itself generates instead of doing a direct install on my network directly through router itself. We have brand new dual unit mesh router system that detects on most equipment the band that the device needs to be on but that didn't happen with any of the Globe Electric Products. I cant select the 2.4 band manually. But using the alternate method setting up the bulbs as well as the outlet plug was quite fast and painless. The bulbs and outlet really work great from the app, in a smart scene or schedule you create for them. I have the bulbs in our heated garage on a schedule so no more wondering or worrying if we turned the lights out in the garage

This is a great starter kit! We have slowly been converting our home to a smart home utilizing our Alexa. These bulbs and plug hooked up seamlessly to it. We were able to convert our bedroom with this kit and set up routines that work flawlessly with this kit. We can now control our two nightstand lamps and our box fan without having to get out of bed to turn off or on. I know, we're lazy.lol. one simple command for bedtime and one in the morning and the lights and fan are set how we want them.

This is a nice set of two smart Bulbs and and Smart Plug. The smart bulbs allow you to change the color temperature and the brightness and the Smart Plug is just off and on. The Globe app was easy to find and download and the app works just like you would want it to. I had no problems with the app with either my Iphone or my Android phone. With the app you have sliders for color temperature and brightness. Also with the app you can set Scenes or Schedule routines. The color temp says it goes from 2000k to 5000k, that sounds about right to me. The bulbs will go from what I would say is almost orange to a bluish white. The dimmer controls the bulb from what I would say was the equivalent of about a 15 watt bulb to about a 60 watt bulb. With the Alexa app you have 5 color temperatures to chose from and brightness changes in 1 degree increments but you can only notice about a 5-10 degree change. The smart plug only has off and on settings. When setting it in pairing mode the instructions as slightly confusing but once you figure out that you push the button for 5 seconds and then let go of it all goes well. The bulbs and the socket seem to be decently made, the bulbs screw into fixtures smoothly and the plug is not overly tight or loose when either plugging it in or plugging something into it. All in all a really nice little starter set with a decent app.

This is pretty easy to setup and use. I had no trouble with the app. Everything is wifi. Rather coming in one box, the outlet and bulbs arrived separately packaged. The outlet is sized well and only uses one space, other things can still use the other outlet. You can adjust the hue of the bulbs from the app. No problems with any kind of humming noise. The price is a little high for 2 light bulbs and an outlet, but you are getting more options. The Globe Electric Wi-Fi Smart Starter Kit with voice activation is quite a neat kit and I definitely plan on buying more of these awesome devices. This kit comes with a plug and (2) bulbs. The app is super easy to install and all of the items were really easy to link up to it. The two bulbs are awesome in that you can change the type of light that comes from them (soft, warm, etc.) and they're dimmable. The plug is neat in that you leave whatever devices is hooked up to it on, and then you can turn it off with the app or your voice. The app and all of the devices can easily sync with Amazon Alexa or Google Home (this is what I have). My wife and I always used to race to take a shower at night because the last one to bed would have to turn off all of the lights, and now we hop in, finish our emails and web surfing, and then just say "Hey Google, turn off bedroom lights" and everything goes out. It's made our lives simpler and less competitive. I have an oscillating fan plugged into the smart plug and just as easily I say "Hey Google, turn on (or off) fan" and there you go. The other neat feature that I almost forgot is that you can also set the lights and plug to turn off and on with a scheduled alarm, so at 5:45 am each morning the lights turn on to help us get out of bed if we haven't done so already. I plan to buy a lot more of these smart devices to help make the things that you never think about even easier.
