This thing is great! I have had lots of fun using it to cook a variety of dishes. I have even baked biscuits and corn bread. To date, my favorite has been Chili Verde. It's great for cooking a whole meal for one or two people.

I've had my GoSun Sport since early spring, and I really like it. I have always had an interest in sustainable living, and the GoSun helps me accomplish that. There's something about cooking for free that's so satisfying! I have made omlettes, kale chips, roasted chestnuts, cooked chicken, roasted root vegetables for potato salad, and much more. As expected, the GoSun works fantastic on a sunny day-- almost too much so. I burnt my pumpkin seeds because I forgot about them! What was unexpected was how well it worked even on partly cloudy or overcast days. The tube is so well insulated that even very cold ambient temperatures do not significantly affect cooking ability. The GoSun Sport is quite portable as well. I have taken it to pool parties, friends' houses, and outdoor events. Everyone is fascinated by it, and it's been a wonderful conversation starter. The trade-off to portability, of course, is capacity. The Sport does well for one dish, enough to feed one or at most two people. One couldn't use this to cook enough for a party. The other limitation is that it does need at least some sun, so night-time or rainy weather cooking is not possible. I look forward to adding their upcoming Grill to my GoSun collection. Until then, I'll continue to use my Sport, enjoying the free cooking it gives me.

This Solar Cooker is truly amazing! I have cooked so many different kinds of foods in it, and now it is definitely my favorite method of cooking. My friends tell me that potatoes and veggies taste better when cooked in the gosun stove, and it really is the best way to cook fish. Never dry, never burnt, always just right and completely fuel free. Your next tailgate party needs the gosun!

It’s a fun stove. Doesn’t work if you’re in a hurry or there are a lot of people to feed. But the flavor of food cooked with it is enhanced knowing it was kissed by the sun.

This grill is amazing!! I can use it like a crockpot and leave it cook for around 45 minutes or so! It also isn't restricted to only usuing when it's sunny outside... it works in cloudy, rainy, and even in winter weather!

I've had 1 for yrs. Sent to family after Hurricane when they were without power for weeks. They had used up all the charcoal. Without a solar cooker they would NOT have been able to cook at all! We sent solar chargers, water purifiers & water backpacks. The SOLAR COOKER was the most important survival device we sent them!

This is the real deal ! It works and does so very well ! Been cooking for 6 months now. I have cooked about everything . Even forgot I was cooking a few times, only to walk out later in the night to find a hot meal waiting for me . I'm not saying you can cook in the moonlight. But I am saying you can cook on some very overcast days. If you can see the sun , then you can cook. Will take a little longer , but turns out great. One downfall , it is glass and you must pay attention to thermal shock. The directions explain this in good detail ( pay attention ) if you follow this simple rule , you will have a lifetime product. And yes it's true ! It will cook in below freezing temperatures on snow coverd ground. I was most suprised at this !

the gosun solar cooker is truly amazing. Simpler to use than a gas grill,yet cooks just about everything. I was really surprised how fast it cooked even in the snow!

It is so compact & just in time for the hurricane! Good gift for survivalists & for anyone who lives in Florida. Great to cook without issuing smoke.

In California with the drought camping and fires don't go together The Solar Grill is perfect.I will be using mine during the local Ren fair

Folks, a completely independent recommendation, here. Don't miss out on this wonderful product. I ordered my GoSport Oven this Spring and wanted to see how many meals in a row I could cook lunch and dinner in the Colorado sun. I cooked every day for four months and only got skunked once which happened to be in the middle of a blizzard. But I've got photos of a meal being cooked in knee deep snow once the sun came out. My experiment culminated in a demonstration and speech in front of my Toastmasters club. They loved it and I won that night's blue ribbon for the best talk. I have one negative caveat. I live on a hillside that has lots of wildlife. The squirrels were pretty curious about where the wonderful food smells were coming from. I had to chase them off a couple of times! But I love my GoSport and would recommend it to anyone!!!

We love our GoSun! You can pretty much cook anything in it: meats veggies, even omelets. It cooks enough to feed two, and folds up into a clam shell, sturdy enough to survive my trunk (no small feat) Testing the manufacturer's claims, it really does work on mildly cloudy days, it just takes a longer, but we just set an alarm and come back in 20 minutes and it's usually finished by then. Plus it tastes great (like a mix between a crockpot and an oven). Part grill, part microwave, part crockpot. Awesome!
