Mower works well but don’t expect the self-drive to turn cutting the lawn into an effortless experience. If you have a flat lawn it probably isn’t worth the extra expense.

This thing is a beast! I have a small yard, but part of it goes uphill at about a 5-10 degree incline. The self-propelled function kicks its' butt. The fact that it comes with two batteries means I can cut my two neighbor's lawns when they are away....then again, maybe not :).

I love this lawn mower. Beautiful cut. I’m so glad I transitioned from a corded mower to the battery power. No more cord to get in the way.

Never buy this garbage
Let me just start by saying, I have never hated a machine before, until now. This lawnmower, if you want to call it that, is absolute and utter GARBAGE. The battery life is awful, worse than awful. Hideous. Can't even mow my little yard on one charge. And to top it off, you can't charge one and have it hold until the next now. Nope.. takes 2 days to mow a 1/4 acre. And during your now, you will have to have to allow breaks for the machine not you because it over heats. Save your money!

Do not buy a Green Machine
I bought this lawn mower from HD web about 18 months ago. It was just okay to use, very slow to respond to control changes. About 6 weeks ago the self propell quit working. Next day nothing worked. Batteries and charger show good. I called customer service for warranty repair. The 3 local shops they gave me never heard of Green Machine. 4 weeks later I am still waiting for Customer service to get back to me.

Reall impressed with the mower. On first use, I mowed all but 2 small strips (1 minute to complete) on one battery. Power was good on self-propel, variable speed had a good range (really slow to "can't keep up"). Height adjustment was easy to change and cut quality was excellent. Very quiet and no gas or oil or stink! I am impressed !

Have used this push mower 3-4 times. So far, I love it. Came with two 4.0 ah batteries and it takes 2 batteries to cut my small yard of .41 acres. Battery last 28-31 minutes ,depending how fast I walk behind the machine.

Mega power for electric mower. Wet/damp grass does heat and pull heavy power from the battery as a side note.

With only one fully charged battery I was almost able to complete my 5,000 sq ft lawn using self-propel for most of it except for the irregular edges. After two mows, I have had no problems.

I like this product. It cuts well and cuts as low as I wanted. It's light and fast if I want it with a quick forward or stop on the adjuster. However, the battery does not last a more than 20 min if I press the propell button many times when needed. I must wait for the batteries to be charged before go on my task.

Weak, over heats,
If you buy this mower, you will not be able to cut an average size lawn without it overheating or using all the battery power. It even comes with two batteries, and I had three and it still did not have enough power to mow my entir lawn. I had to always leave a portion of the lawn uncut and do it the next day after the batteries recharged. Also, if your grass is thick it will overheat and drain the battery really fast. This mower does not work well in heat like 90 derees or higher

It’s been great so far. Picks up clippings great, and a lot of leaves and acorns as well.
It’s so easy to push that I don’t even use the self propelled mode.

DO NOT BUY
If it's a degree over 70 or a drop of moisture is in your grass you will get nothing done. Runs maybe 30min on a lucky day.
I wanted to like this, but the electric craze that's going on is over blown.
these products aren't there yet and can not do the job.
