I used this to support a large pipe that I'm using for a rainwater collection system. This hanger is stout and is well protected by a thick coat of paint. Very convenient are the multiple hole sizes available to mount the hanger. This hanger is little big for my purposes, but I appreciate the additional strength that it provides. The locking bolt system is a nice touch. I don't think I'll need it, but the lock will be easy to shim if I have problems with pipe movement.

I recently got this pipe hanger support for an AC condensate line that hangs precariously from my AC unit. It is much beefier and heavy duty than I anticipated it would be, and probably overkill for the medium size pipe that I want to support. The hanger is designed for quick installation using up to 3 large mounting holes, and/or 2 smaller holes. I like that a hung pipe can be secured to this support quickly after it is mounted using just one hand to slide an angled bolt through the “keyhole” configured into the support stem. The bolt and two nuts are provided. This hanger is well fabricated, all surfaces are smooth/rounded (no sharp edges) and well-coated – it looks like it could provide rust-free service for a lifetime even under damp, wet conditions. A potential limitation I note, is whether the hanger set-off dimension (8” from the wall mount to the outer tip of the hanger) will accommodate locations with a tight clearance. However, if it fits at the desired location, this product will do an impressive job of securing large pipes. I would recommend this for large/heavy conduits and plumbing work.

I have been searching for a versatile pipe hanger to organize my work space. HAP SYSTEM 4 in. Surface Mount Pipe Hanger with Locking System is prefect. This hanger can be reused if the pipe location needs to be changed. I like the option to mount ether in horizontal or vertical positions. This pipe hanger will be located in a rough climate area. Therefore, the durable powder-coated finish is very important. At other times will be relocated for inside jobs. All Hap pipe hangers provide a gap between the wall and pipe. This is important and makes handling pipe much easier. This hanger is very strong. Locking system provides additional security and holding capacity.

This is a game changer! So simple to hang large pipes! I got this pipe hanger to help install my dust collection system in my wood shop. I'm using 4 inch pvc pipe for my install. This hanger will work for pvc, copper, black abs, all of the things. The only kicker is the price, there are much cheaper ways to attach your pipe, but those aren't as easy nor do they give you peace of mind that this is installed perfectly. Easy to install, looks great, will work for the life of my shop, and probably any commercial installation needs.

I am in the middle of a water supply project which requires relocating some utilities, thus some of the waste water pipes need additional bracing. I decided to try something other than universal sizing pipe strap. This surface mount pipe hanger, model # PL-1111-V40 by HAP Systems is intended for either vertical or horizontal use in supporting 4 inch PVC, Copper, Stainless or Black pipe. It is constructed out of a single piece of 1/8 inch ferrous metal plate with blue powder coated finish. All edges are rounded. The mounting surface section is 11” x 1 ½” with 2 sets of pre-drilled mounting points. The hanger section has a 7 ½” drop with a 4”diameter strap which accepts the included locking brace to secure the piping. The surface off-set (gap) requires 2 7/8” clearance. The design’s intent is to provide protection to the pipe from the mounting surface. The product is designed in U.S.A., manufactured in China.

It allows for easy mounting on most surfaces. I really like the bend in the loop that holds the pipe while the hold down strap is being attached and tightened. This system will allow just the right amount of pressure to hold any pipe firmly but not allow the pipe to be crushed.

I build holiday props so use PVC pipes quite a bit. I don’t like to throw extra pieces away so needed a way to store them on the wall. This Hap system PVC pipe hanger is perfect for that. I wasn’t sure if I needed this size or the 6 in size so got both and use them together. Of course it easily holds many smaller smaller size PVC pipes and with its durable steel design, I know they will last for years. Heavy so I’m hanging on studs in my garage. Comes with lockable rod. No hanging bolts included. To install use two screws or concrete fastener using a cordless impact driver. The mounting plate provides stability for vertical or horizontal installations

This bracket is thick gauge steel and can support a lot of weight. The paint finish is nice and should prevent any rust from forming. The OC Janke rod include 2 nuts and is nicely designed to lock the pipe in place. The design includes a key slot to make assembly easier. The mounting side of the bracket includes 3 holes to securely mount the bracket

I have used a great number of pipe supports over the years - these are a bit more expensive but there is no comparison for quality and durability - these holders are incredible. I have never seen such holders. All work pretty good preventing hitting pipes in wall - frame this to a stud and there will be no movement. These are well made and will service extremely well - i love how these can easily create some angle as well

This pipe hanger is extremely well made and should be adequate to use for any type of 4" pipe in any home or industrial application. Quite certain that it was pass any code for mounting pipe for an earth quake certification. It stands the pipe away from where mounted approximately 2 3/8" , with a total width of just under 8". Comes with a metal bar and two screws to secure pipe in the hanger. I plan on using it to mount my 4" spiral metal ducting along the wall of my wood shop dust collection system.

Before I moved my shop equipment to my current home, I had built a dust collection system for most of my major woodworking tools: table saw, bandsaw, jointer, planer, miter saw, etc. When I moved to my new shop, some of the homemade clamps and fixtures that I had built to affix the ductwork and hoses got lost in the move or just didn't work with the new shop layout. One of those was the clamp that I had attached to my table saw outfeed table for the 4 inch diameter flexible hose from the table saw base to my dust collector. When I saw this HAP System 4 inch Surface Mount Pipe Hanger with Locking Bar, I knew it was just what I needed for the table saw dust collection hose. This HAP System hanger is very well made and easy to install in almost any position needed. Both through hole and keyhole mounting slots are provided to meet varying installation requirements. One neat thing is that these can be removed and re-used without any complicated disassembly. This one worked so well for my table saw that I'm sure I'll need to get some more for my other tools.

This pipe hanger appears to be well made and is also a nice bright color, so not easy to miss. It also doesn’t have any sharp edges which is a plus. It comes with a locking bolt to hold the pipe in but it doesn’t come with anything to attach it to the wall. In the photos on the website it shows it attached with bolts into concrete. There are also smaller holes, so I used those as I wanted to use screws to attach it to wood studs. I don’t need to support a lot of weight so screws were fine.

This HAP SYSTEM Surface Mount Pipe Hanger comes with a locking system that you can use with lag bolts if your project calls for that. It is powder coated a bright blue so you’ll need to decide if this will work for you. Since I am putting these in my she shed, they will look fine and actually add a touch of color. They are locking so there is additional security for strong storms.

We have a rain water collection system on our barn with pipes running mostly vertical, some horizontal and one that runs at a slope across the back outside wall of the barn. We had to run this one from this downspout at an angle because of the configuration of the slab and some trees in that corner. The only issue we have is that a 4 inch pipe is fine by itself but full of water can get heavy. We had some metal strapping that we first tried to secure the pipe with, but it did not hold very well. We found these pipe holders and even at an angle the holders are very secure. The pipes no longer droop when we have a heavy downpour. The threat of the pipes giving way under the weight of being full is not a concern any more with these pipe holders. They were very easy to install. We simply placed a screw in 2 of the holder's hole locations into the outside wall. The bar holding down the pipe in the clamp securely holds the pipe. It only took us a few minutes to install these.

A real heavy duty surface mount hanger made with very strong steel and (I presume -) painted with powder coated paint. The bright blue coating has a polished glossy sheen to it & seems scratch proof by the zinc coated machine screw that comes with it. The mounting flange is approximately 11" long which will help keep the hanger bear a heavy load without pulling down at the top most screws. I was able to fit 4" ABS pipe into the hook and it was very snug to fit in. I also tried a 4" galvanized pipe which fit easily & had about a 1/16" gap; but with either pipe you can easily secure it from popping up by tightening the 45 deg angled machine screw that is threaded on both ends & the nuts that come with it. It was easy to figure out how to use this hanger but for those who might need help, there was no instructions that came with it.

It is made from 1/8" (4mm) steel plate, powder coated blue. Has a locking rod with nuts on each end. There are three 1/2" mounting holes for lag bolts if using on wood framing or machine bolts if metal framing. Bracket is sturdy and will hold the weight of the pipe if used with correct spacing, easily. Easy to install and secure. Has other uses as well. I will be using this to hang my 4" dust collector hose on the wall. Made in China.

The HAP system surface mount pipe hanger can be used to hang or suspend 4” PVC, copper, stainless or black pipe. The hanger will hold the pipe 2 ½” away from the mounting surface. The mounting bracket portion is 11” long 1 ¼” wide ¼” thick and has a choice of two ½” & one ¼” mounting holes at the top and a ½’ hole and a ¼” hole at the bottom. The “J” part of the bracket is 1 ¼” wide and ¼” thick and is very flexible while springy. You can easily slide the “J” part over the pipe and then easily adjust it the way you want it and it will stay in place while you mark where you want to attach the fastener and drill a hole for the fastener. If you need to you can snap the hanger back off the pipe and place it elsewhere. You could attach a bracket on each end of a long length of pipe and snap in extra hangers, level the pipe and attach the fasteners easily. Once the bracket is in place where you want it you attach the included angular bolt to secure the pipe in place. I used ¼” Tapcon fasteners and drill bit thru the ¼” hole in the hanger for concrete but could use screws for a wood attachment or other fastener. You can mount the hanger an any angle to hold the pipe as for a sewer line or mount a PVC pipe vertically as a boat bumper on a seawall. This is a better designed quality hanger system that is easy to install, can be used outside has rounded edges and is powder coated.

Simple and safe installation of the Sumo Hanger with the locking system will prevent customers call backs do to pipes movement or disconnect.

Although his hangar was designed to hold 4" pipe, it could have multiple uses. I am going to use it to hang uninstalled baseboard trim in my garage. The large hook is perfect for this purpose and the strong steel construction gives it plenty of strength to hold a lot of weight and conveniently holds everything away from the wall. The bright color makes it easily identified in a dark location.
