When I recieved the product the corners were all busted up. This is how the first one came too. The plastic that is suppose to seal it was all torn up as well.

Mine was shipped to my home by UPS. The box was damaged on the corners and on both flat sides. I am cutting this down so the two damaged corners are on the cut off side. However the top and bottom sides had deep impressions in the wood. I had to choose a side to fix and put a damp paper towel on the impression and let it lift up for a day. The bigger problem is that after I opened this, I saw a sheet of paper that said the product "Must" be sealed within 2-4 hours of taking off the plastic wrapper. Really? Not sure how to do that when it takes 24 hrs for most sealants to dry so if you flip it over it will make marks on the side you just sealed. Since I had to do surface corrections I could not seal one side. So far I have not had any warping issues. Is this just a CYA from the manufacturer in case of a crappy product? If they expect someone to do this sealing in 2-4 hours then they should let you know in advance with instructions on what to use and how to seal it and the effects on other products that you had planned to use on it. Also both sides? How many cabinet installers or home DIY people actually seal the bottom side. I have one of these in maple in my garage that was never sealed and I just put the conditioner on it periodically and no problems. Finally, I have to cut the top and not sure on final dimensions. So do I wait to finish after cutting or just seal up the whole thing and cut later. Can I re-wrap the product until then? The mfg website was of no help at all. I am not an experienced woodworker, just a DIY homeowner, so I do not know the answers to these questions.... Other than all that, the products is exactly what I was looking for and should turn out nicely

The product is as good as Home Depot advertised - solid hard ash wood that is handsome and sturdy. I use it as a top for a computer table book case setup. The length of the product offers plenty of space for a computer ultrawide monitor as well as peripherals. Looks good with a coat of clear triple thick water based polyurethane. Will recommend.

We looked at a number of competitors and Home Depot was able to deliver within a few days. The quality of the product is comparable to others and we would definitely recommend.

The Package was severely damaged during the shipping process and was returned.

Nice piece of glue up however had end checking at one end. Worked around it although it did change my project slightly.

Really beautiful butcher block! It has a lot of clear grain patterns and some color variation. Easy to work with, and looks great.

This butcher block is beautiful and excellent quality. My kitchen looks like it is out of a magazine and a big part of it is this gorgeous countertop!

The counter tops are not in use yet, so we’ll see about how the joints hold up. So far I am really happy with product, price, delivery. Choice of woods was great, and I’m glad to get this ash top installed in my kitchen.
