Works great at removing stains but the main scrubber clip is very weak and it snapped. Everything seems a little better than the main attachment scrubber. I don't see a replacement on the parts page.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received a Hoover CleanSlate Pet Spot cleaner in exchange for my honest review and I Love It! I have 3 small inside dogs that seem to create large messes! My dogs are only partially pad trained so there's still a lot of carpet accidents which causes the carpet to smell horrible. I use to think the only way to clean it was professional carpet steam cleaners that cost a fortune that was until I tried the Hoover CleanSlate Pet Spot Cleaner. This carpet cleaner is so easy to use, compact, and lightweight making it so simple to grab and use when you see a spot on the carpet. I love that it comes with multiple attachments that snap on in a breeze so not only can you use it on pet messes it's great for any small messes on carpet, upholstery, mattresses, your vehicle and more. I am so happy with this spot carpet cleaner and would recommend this to anyone with carpet but especially people who have pets and or small children.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a full size upright carpet cleaner that is a pain to get out everytime one of my dogs has an accident. This machine is great and even better for spots because of the attachments. They allow you to really scrub the stain to allow the cleaning solution to penetrate even more thoroughly. It's extremely lightweight even with a full solution tank. The first use was very easy and the stains came up completely! Love this machine.

I personally am very pleased with this cleanslate Hoover spot cleaner. It does the job and is compact but packs a punch. The instructions are well written along with illustrations to make it easier for you. Nicely packed and even comes with solution and scent enhancer. The instructions also come with a ratio chart to help you navigate how much water-solution-the enhancer. Which is very helpful for me! Can easily carry to and from different areas that need cleaning. It has 3 attachments that allow to get into any nook and cranny without being a pain in switching them out. I have already cleaned the whole inside of my car, which needed a good cleaning bad. The tools got deep into the seats and under them. I've cleaned up several messes my cats have made. By either spilling cups over because they don't know how to stay off the coffee table. No pet smell or anything left behind, which makes me so happy. Overall I am really pleased with it and definitely recommend.

My carpet looks great you can't even tell there was a bad dog in the house. Already have friends asking to borrow to take care of their unsightly stains and spots. Will also be using in my car next to get the moldy spot off interior from leak. Try this out you will mot be disappointed!

I was even impressed that it had a hose cleaner attachment. I have 6 indoor cats and they pee and vomit in random places. This little guy took care of the stain and odor quick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very good vacuum and very useful in a house like mine with 2 kids,2 dogs,and 2 cats. I tried this on one of my couch cushions and my recliner. It was very easy to use and while using it I would say it was for the most part not too loud and the suction on this is great compared to anything else I have used. Definitely got them cleaner and what it pulled out grossed me out in the fill tank which was a dark brown mucky mess. The scent booster made areas smell great and clean. I will definitely continue to use this and absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for something like this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am an animal lover I will be the first to admit it, however the worst part about having animals are the stains and smells they leave behind. I know they don't mean to but it still happens. With a clean slate pet spot removal system by Hoover it makes things 1000 times easier and I've use quite a few of these in my day all different types. This seems to be the most intense machine iv ever used I would recommend it in a heart beat. 10 out of 10 phenomenal unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never been more appreciative or more excited about being picked for a particular BzzAgent Campaign than I was when I found out I was chosen for this one. When I found out I would be receiving a Hoover CleanSlate Pet Spot Cleaner I was literally thrilled. I don't think that there's a campaign out there that's better suited for me and my household than this one. Want to know why? My husband and I have opened up our hearts and home to foster animals. Through the foster process, many of the animals became a part of our family due to the strong bonds we've developed with them over time. Throughout the past couple years we've inherited quite a few litters of abandoned kittens who needed special care to survive. Those cats who came to us as kittens are the ones that have become official family members. We currently have 20 cats, 9 of which are still kittens (a litter of 4 that are 19wks old and a litter of 5 that are 8 wks old). On top of the cats, we also have 5 dogs! So if there was ever someone in need of a Pet Spot Carpet Cleaner, it was definitely us. A couple years ago we purchased the Rug Doctor Portable Spot Cleaner and immediately discovered that we weren't fans of it. It seemed like we experienced every possible issue with that portable spot cleaner and that really discouraged us from purchasing another one of a different brand. Right away, I can, with 100% confidence, say that the Hoover CleanSlate Pet Spot Cleaner is by far the superior portable carpet cleaner in comparison to the Rug Doctor Portable in every possible way. First, the performance of the Hoover is fantastic. It doesn't take multiple passes to clean a soiled, stained area and it doesn't require you to exhaust yourself trying to scrub the carpet. The Hoover CleanSlate Pet Spot Cleaner is so lightweight and easy to carry around. The hose on it is much longer than the one on the Rug Doctor Portable Spot Cleaner. One of the best parts is that it's super easy to clean and maintain. I love having access to this Pet Spot Cleaner because it makes cleanup of small messes easier and more convenient. There's no need to pull out your giant, heavy-duty carpet cleaner for a hairball (trust me, we get a lot of those on a daily basis) or a missed potty pad accident. There are several different tools and attachments that you can choose from depending on which is most appropriate for the job at hand. You have an 18 foot cord to work with which means you have plenty of room to move around freely without having to switch outlets. Now that I've been lucky enough to have been chosen to test the Hoover CleanSlate Pet Spot Cleaner I can definitely say that it would be a product that I would purchase. As I mentioned above, before this opportunity I don't know if I would have purchased it simply because I felt so jaded and disappointed by my purchase and investment into the Rug Doctor Portable Spot Cleaner. It's a beautiful thing that companies allow individuals to test their products because I'm living proof that you can turn a negative, non-believer into someone who has faith and confidence in a product. I also would not hesitate to recommend this to my family and friends because it's a fantastic product and it works wonders!

We were in need of a new spot scrubber, so when I had the opportunity to try this product free I was excited! It's not too heavy, has good suction, and I love that it has a hose cleaning attachment! Cleaning up dog pee with my other machines they would get an oder! It's super easy to use, even my 11 year old has used it. I would definitely purchase this spot cleaner again.

No matter how much they go outside and we have training pads on hard floors they love the carpet. I was so excited to try the Hoover cleanslate pet cleaner. It was easy to set up and get started. The spots came up instantly I will be telling everyone with pets. It worked so quick and easily my kids could do it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hoover CleanSlate Pet Spot Remover should really be in every house with kids and/or pets! We have both and normally use a full sized carpet cleaner on any spots or stains, which would require a full tank of water and solution. The great thing about the CleanSlate is that it has measurements for both small and large areas so you only fill it to what you need based on the area you're cleaning. This means less waste of water and cleaning solution which saves money in the long run! The tank is simple to fill and empty and even when using it for larger areas, it's fairly lightweight. It worked great on stains from spilled drinks, mud tracked inside as well as the interior in my car. My favorite thing about this spot cleaner are the three brush attachments and the hose cleaner tool! The tight spot tool works wonderfully along baseboards and in vehicle interior, which I could never reach with my regular cleaner. When using the CleanSlate all of the dirty water gets sucked through the hose into the tank which is pretty satisfying to see but definitely leaves the clear hose looking pretty gross. The hose cleaner rinse does exactly what it says it does, cleans all of that yuck out of the hose so it doesn't make your cleaner stink. I didn't know I needed that option until I cleaned the hose the first time and now I think it should really be standard lol Overall, I would absolutely recommend the Hoover CleanSlate Pet Spot Remover. It's portable, lightweight and works great at removing stubborn stains with minimal effort. If you've got kids or pets, you should definitely have this spot cleaner too, you won't regret it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This clean slate machine is well thought out. It was very effective on my carpet that my incontinent senior toy poodle soiled. The machine not only cleaned the spot, but the machine comes apart smartly and easily to clean. All the parts can get clean. I feel so good about storing it in my closet and not worry about it being a dirty thing in there. It's portable enough to carry all over the house. Cord could have been a bit longer though.

I've used a heavy duty machine just like this at my job and I've always wanted one for myself. This machine scrubs so easy. I cleaned my dogs two ottomans that they sit on to lookout the window, my area rug and a spot on my carpet upstairs that my senior dog had a accident on and each time everything came out spotless and fresh. I like how this comes with a few different attachments and small cleaner sample. This isn't too rough on my wrists which is very pleasing. This is very convenient to use on my entire house from my drapes, couches, beds and carpet without having to call the professionals anymore. This machine is a little loud and my dogs don't like the noise because it sounds like a vacuum cleaner but it's tolerable for me. I highly recommend this machine to anyone with or without a pet. This machine was most definitely built to last a long time the quality is A+.

Don't let the size fool you because this baby gets in there and gets the job done. The oxiclean solution works wonders removing that set in hard to remove stains. After cleaning my son's carpet in his car the water looked like motor oil, that's some deep cleaning. I especially love the smaller attachment. It's great for those smaller hard to get to areas. I have found my new cleaning sidekick. I highly recommend this product to anyone with kids/pets that like to keep a clean home.

Along with that the scent pack that comes with it also leaves your carpet smelling fresh. I also love the rubber grip attachment which helps pick up stray pet hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot say enough about the CleanSlate Pet machine by Hoover. My family includes the sweetest little Shih Tzu puppy, named Doobie. He's 9 years old but, is very much the energetic, snuggle bug he's always been, except he's experienced a bit of intermittent tummy trouble these past couple years. Most recently, our front entry rug bore the brunt of an episode. Luckily, our Hoover CleanSlate Pet was delivered later that day. It was incredibly easy to assemble and intuitive in design. I was amazed at how lightweight it is, even when full. There was an included bottle of cleaning fluid and a packet of scent booster, which smells fresh and clean. I love that there are a few choices for brush heads, one for upholstery, one for carpets, and a smaller "crevice" attachment were all included. Solids removed, and odors neutralized, I began cleaning by pushing the solution button on the handle attachment, while scrubbing, to work it in well. I moved on to other areas to give the solution a minute to work is magic. Then, I began extraction. Unlike other similar machines that I've used in the past, the extraction took very little pressure to suck up a bunch of nasty water. We keep a clean house but, the color of the waste water was shocking but, completely gratifying. I made a couple applications on necessary areas but in general, it only took one pass or so to clean the rest of the rug. Not only did this leave the rug noticeably brighter and clean, we could not get over how soft the rug felt after it dried and how there was a pretty sheen to it that we forgot it even had. It smelled amazingly fresh for days. The clean up for this machine is equally as impressive. The hose cleaning attachment housed in the lid is genius. It redirects the cleaning fluid back through the hose taking all of the dirt and fibers accumulated with it, right into the waste reservoir. This is hands down, the easiest clean up of any machine of this type that I've owned. After successfully cleaning the rug, I was inspired to tackle the bane of our household's existence, the ugly green couch. This couch has had a foot out the door for years. We want to replace it but, have serious reno plans in mind that we'd like to finish first. So, this poor, ugly couch has sat for way too long, unable to be cleaned by our carpet cleaning guys, because they don't clean these types. I took the challenge and while I'll admit it took several tank refills and waste empties, this once nasty couch lost its cringe factor. It's actually soft again, smells delightful, and it's clean! I honestly did not think it could be done but, CleanSlate Pet proved otherwise. Pets or no pets, the CleanSlate is a must have for all households who crave a truly clean home.

Used it on my dining room chair and it worked wonders. Much better than having to hand scrub them. Also the drying time is less because it sucks up most of the liquid. Can't wait to try it on my carpets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For one I appreciate how QUIET this machine is and two, the way it works is absolutely wonderful. I have white carpet and a dog. My dog does not use the bathroom in my house but she is definitely messy. And then the are are the toddlers that come over. And let me just say the way this thing worked! It got my carpet back to the original color as you can see in the photo. You can't even tell there was a stain on the carpet. I would definitely recommend. I'm excited to try on my couch because that's definitely next!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this little machine on my couch. I have several children, dogs and cats, and the cushions were seriously stained. I've tried spray cleaners and scrubbing with little success. Just using the cleaner that was included with the machine, and water, the cushions were noticeably cleaner with just a couple of passes of the attachment. After some repeated sprays and passes, the couch is much cleaner and I am very happy with the results. It process does take some time, but that might just be because I am new to using this particular machine. I would say it took about 30 minutes to thoroughly clean one cushion, which still isn't too bad. I actually can't wait to try it on some stains in my car. I think it'll be very useful there. I gave it 4 stars for only one reason. When trying to suck up the dirty water, it seems like it was not as strong as it could be. The water looked like it was trying to come back into the attachment but seems to just not have enough suction to come all the way back into the dirty reservoir. Again, maybe it was just due to my not being very familiar with the machine, but even so, it did a great job!

The attachments helped so much my other machine didn't come with any attachments. This also came with a sample of cleaner. I would recommend this item. I used it on a area rug and on thick carpet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to receive the Hoover CleanSlate Pet Spot Cleaner because I have two dogs and while they are potty trained they have managed to get sick on the carpet. I have a short woven carpet. This machine was very easy to put together and directions were very straightforward and easy to follow. The scent of the cleaner was pleasant and the process was easy to follow. I think my stains were too old or set in to remove completely but this little machine did tough work and improved the darkness of the spot greatly. I worked really well on what I had to test it on. It is a bit loud but that is to be expected. The cleaning process of the machine was a little much but they made it as easy as possible to flush out the line so that was super helpful.

The water was absolutely disgusting dirty it did its job wasn't too hard to use worked perfectly what highly recommend to anyone that needs to clean up spots around their carpet!!

Thought the wet vacuum is compact in size it sure does an enormously great job at getting rid of tough stains and spots. The vacuum comes equipped with all of the brush accessories and spots cleaner and that's all you need to tackle your mess. I had hard to clean spots from both my pet and my kiddos, and the spots cleaner really did an awesome job at eliminating them. The cleaner also come with an easy to follow manual. The machine is lightweight and simple to operate that even my ten year uses it to clean. I am more Thant pleased with this product.

This carpet cleaner is the perfect size for moving around the house to different spots. It was really simple to learn how to operate it, and I love how easily the water and waste tanks snap together and come apart. The water tank holds just enough water to do small carpets which keeps the complete unit nice and compact. The attachments work great at getting up any pet hair or stains, and the vacuum is strong so it doesn't leave water behind on your carpets. It's even easy to keep clean, as it has a tool built-in that cleans out the hose so it doesn't get mildew or smell terrible after use. This worked really great on my carpets even after I had recently used a full-sized carpet cleaner on my welcome mats. This little machine pulled even more dirt out of them. I highly recommend this to anyone with pets or even just anyone who needs a portable, easily stored carpet cleaner for small areas of the home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was worried how small this device was meant that big jobs would be hard to do. My dog proved us both wrong last night. After eating an entire loaf of Italian bread twice the size of his body, the air from the carbohydrates he has consumed resulted in something I can only describe as catastrophic, and all over my carpet, as he ran from what was happening to his bowels. This little piece of equipment did the trick, and I had just received this email to review it today. Buy it. You will regret it if you don't. Also, store your loaves of bread at a height greater than 4 feet.
