Easy to use and operate

Installing, connecting and setting the zones in the HALO App was very easy. I'm. very satisfied with these lights. One issue I noticed is that when only one light is on (multiple lights in a power circuit) it flickers but I thinks it's because I'm still using the normal dimmer. I have ordered the HALO dimmers to replace the existing dimmers.

Too complicated to install. Instructions are cryptic.

Was unable to setup the app and no response from halo. Returned the lights and bought a different brand that worked!

Bought a Halo Internet Bridge on Black Friday to work with my Halo driveway motion light (which I am satisified with.) Looking at the directions there is nothing that states anything about requirements or anything. When trying to add the Bridge to my Halo account, it would always stall out at the section where I enter my Wi-Fi password. Did more digging than I should have had to do to find out that it will only work on the 2.4 Wi-Fi frequency, so I made sure that was the only one broadcasting. Still multiple failed attempts, so I called Eaton support, and got a bunch of attitude from the rep. After 30 min they asked if my Wi-Fi password has a “$” “@“ or other special characters to which it does and was promptly told that it does not work with special characters in Wi-Fi passwords. Returned the Bridge because it is easier and makes more sense to do that than to change my Wi-Fi password to something less secure and change it on all of my devices.

Didn't work with our internet. Disappointing. We live in the country and want to use it with our Halo lights, but our internet was too slow and we couldn't connect.

Easy installation, great being able to adjust color and brightness with the app.

I wouldn’t recommend the halo brand. But we had already installed the recessed lighting. You need this bridge to access thru Alexa I prefer tplink overall. It took forever to setup the bridge because there so much WiFi traffic in my neighborhood it didn’t show at all.

The Halo RL 4 inch Bluetooth smart integrated LED recessed ceiling light trim is the next step in bringing my homes interior lighting to becoming a smart home. It’s Bluetooth compatible and doesn’t require integration into the WiFi system of your house. It is Alexa & Google compatible and connect using a smart hub. I myself use a Samsung smart hub to integrate all my appliances and lighting. The housing is Aluminum and with the LED lighting being adjustable from 2700k to 5000k allows soft through daylight. The sealed unit makes install a breeze. Very pleased with this product and I will continue to upgrade the house until all the rooms are changed out.

Just got my lights installed and I love it, especially the smart features I can turn my lights on from anywhere in my house. Peace of mind. And also energy efficient.

This is a 4 inch LED recessed ceiling light with a white trim. It is meant to install either in an existing or new location. It is made by HALO as part of their LED ceiling light system. It can be controlled via Bluetooth through your iphone for on/off, dimming and color temperature. It can be used also with Alexa or Google applications. It is rated at 60W but draws only 8W for cooler operation and efficiency. Overall a high tech light with many high tech options.

Pretty awesome and easy upgrade to any lights. NO hub required to run these lights. Just install and download the app and you are good to go. I would recommend getting LED everything in the home. I have every single light bulb or fixture in my house changed to LED. My monthly electronic bill was greatly reduced. These LED bulb and Trim replacement is very easy to install. You can just take out the old bulb, Screw in the bulb base provided, and then just connect the bulb housing into the clip. Then just click the fixture into place. I love these and they install in under 2 minutes.

These are quite easy to install. I was worried about the brand at first, but they seem to act sturdy and the light they output is good. The most important thing with these is the ability for me to change the color of the light output! My wife loves yellowish light, which is 2700 Kelvin. I, however, like light that helps me work in the garage or in the kitchen while cooking.. which is 5000 Kelvin.

This light was acquired with the intention of replacing a hallway light between bedrooms. It was very easy to install and looks just like my other four inch led lights. It was cheap enough that even if I decided I did not want the Bluetooth functionality, I would still have an economical light. I downloaded the app to my phone and had the light linked up in under ten minutes. I would love to be able to link this light with an Echo Dot that is in the same area of the house but that functionality requires purchasing a $40 hub and I just want to spend that much with only one light.

A light that’s controlled by Bluetooth technology is a great safety idea , knowingand that not taking off the bulb for adjusting the color or getting the ladder is a plus for myself , people that are disabled or are physically challenged .its an easy set up through their app ,It walks you through it on how to set up your light it’s a free service they offer . Will definitely buy more .
