This floor mounted furnace grate is absolute junk. I had it for one day and I think someone stepped on it one time and the fins have already come loose. For $36 and some cents I would advise you to get almost anything else. I’m gonna try to take it back. Unfortunately I no longer have the packaging but I’ll see if I can get my money back.

The only complaint is the color is not to dark enough like the 4 x 10 registers. After that no problem.

Vents went perfectly with our new hardwood Brazilian Cherry wood floors!

Bought these floor register grates to replace two metal ones in the kitchen. The quality of this product is superior to the other wood floor registers I have in my other rooms, which have cheap plastic open/close vents. The Hampton Bay oak floor registers have strong metal, easy-to-use open/close vents. The size fit perfectly and the color match with wood floors is good, better than i had expected as my kitchen wood floor isa bit darker; and it looked fine when I placed it in the living room which has a lighter oak floor. I will now replace all my other floor registers with this product.

A gorgeous looking, fully functional product. Used this with new Bruce Oak hardwood flooring. It completes the room. It is loose in that it doesn't secure to the flooring with screws, but you could use double sided tape to hold it tighter into position. It was a bit pricey but it is wood and well-made. My wife was thrilled the old metal floor registers didn't have to go on her new oak floor.

Really good product. After removing the metal damper unit (4 screws) from the back, I could stain and finish the oak grate to match my oak floor. No mess on the metal. Easy to reinstall the damper. I've replaced several metal grates with the oak and they're so much more attractive.

I like the wood cover look on my hardwood floors but when you close the vents they make a very loud noise as the air escapes out of the sides. I only have one that I need to keep closed as the cool air blows right on me so I just but a diverter on it to help with the air flow.

I had a new wood floor installed and the floor register was a perfect match and thr crowning touch..

Quality is good. Stained them with Special Walnut stain to match our newly refinished hardwood floors. They look great!

It is thicker than I expected.

Really matched my flooring

I didn’t realize how cheap our builder registers looked until we replaced them with these. The only slight negative would be that they are pretty thick but they look so good it doesn’t bother me.

I am happy that it is wood, but way more than I thought it would be cost wise. I would have bought two more, but will not pay almost $40.00 for again. Too expensive.
