After ordering for home delivery 2 times I decided to order for store pickup and amazingly the cabinets were delivered to the store in perfect condition. I had ordered 2 cabinets 2 times with only one being delivered that was useable.

I purchased the cabinet to support an under cabinet microwave that was replacing an old vent hood. The cabinet is fully assembled - many at this price point are not, which was a positive. What is difficult to see in the photo is that the door stiles/rails are molded mdf, and there is a “v groove” to make the panels look like they are constructed with individual pieces of wood. Anyway, unless you have other Hampton Bay cabinets with this type of door, the panel won’t match. I am replacing all of my kitchen door and drawer fronts anyway, so it was fine for me.

We ordered a whole kitchen in these cabinets. This particular cabinet was fine, but others that were shipped had damage and broken pieces we had to fix when we installed them. The construction of these cabinets were not up to our expectations. Disappointed. Would not purchase again.

Bad experience
Ordered this cabinet Feb 3 and I am still waiting for it! Today is March 26. I have called and emailed dozens of times and was told it could be as late as April 18! almost 3 months. Bad enough I have to wait this long to complete my project, but no one can give me a solid date. Funny that it was paid in full 2 months ago. BTY these were stock cabinets, which is why I choose them, they were out of stock of this size.

    We have ordered these cabinets several times for rental units. Each time the quality of the cabinets has gone down. Pieces of particle board have been torn off, we’ve had to turn cabinets upside down to hide defects. They’re too hard and take too long to return and replace so we’ve made do, but won’t be getting them again.

    Quality is what I would expect from a mass produced particle board cabinet. The QC is not so great. Doors are off a little and can’t be adjusted enough to align the way I would expect. But these are being used in a refurbished sugar shack as an office/guest suite so I was not too concerned about having custom cabinets.

    Damaged Cabinet Doors
    Cabinet was shipped from GA distribution center to home address in Texas only to find that the Cabinet doors and one corner of frame was smashed in by what appears to be dropped or mishandled during shipment. Frame damage was able to be covered by crown molding but both doors will need replacing. Cabinets need to be handled better during shipment and delivery to avoid damages to product that customers are purchasing.
