We had to point it upward because there was enough clearance of the medicine chest, which we knew. So make sure you measure.

Appalling amount of Styrofoam packaging
Here in WA state, we care about the environment. The packaging is all styrofoam. Styrofoam NEVER goes away, and is not recyclable. Its poor quality styro, and opening indoors meant pieces of styro went flying everywhere.

We purchased one of these and another very similar at 3 times the price, both from Home Depot. There is a BIG difference in finish. We chose to go with the other, we needed 3 total for a master bath. It depends on your priorities but the Progress Lighting, model P3028-15 was better quality.
