I purchased this shed from Matamores, PA to be installed by Backyard Products 63B branch063@backyardproducts.com. In under a year the doors fell completely off and apart after minimal use. The cause is the short staples used to attach the doors (see photo attached). It is guaranteed this shed will not last with this type of construction. Home Depot and Backyard Products should be liable for this poor product and installation. VERIFIED PURCHASE.

My shed was installed on 5/31 and it is June 26th and it is still not complete. I have a very awkward looking building with anniff center door and no window. We will never use them in the future. The company is unresponsive and it took threats to finally habe tjem cone back out toninstall the window…that is insode the shed waiting to be installed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this kit three months ago and had a great time building it. I had to deviate from the instructions a few times. I built mine on a concrete slab, so I had to research what I needed to fasten the shed to concrete. I also didn't use 3 tab shingles and instead for architectural shingles.

I thought the whole process of sales and installation was broken. If the Home Depot website says roof felt and window are included, they should be installed “no question”. Backyard Products and Home Depot need to talk and agree on changes to reduce customer’s anxiety and complaints. Collar ties should have been installed due to its structural role. The installer returned to install the felt and ties. I expect credit for the window not installed. Hold everyone accountable. Full report available.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The instructions were clear enough for a DIYer with explicit pictures included. Appreciated that the manual had the parts required listed on each page of instructions for the section to be constructed. Even though roofing was not included, they even provided a material list and instructions for roofing. The lumber was not labeled so it required sorting, measuring and labeling before construction to expedite work. A few pieces of lumber were warped and twisted; however, we only had to replace one. Our build was somewhat challenging because it was between three walls with an established trellis on the fourth (front) side. We were able to easily modify the build to accommodate that impediment. We also easily added a loft area (to accommodate more stuff) and a solar-powered vent fan. All in all, we are very satisfied with the quality, build, and looks of the finished product.

Really pleased with the quality and the installation. I ordered one with a floor and runners so it was able to go directly on the ground without a concrete pad. Working with installer went smoothly. The delivery estimate was Sept when I purchased in early July, but they were able to schedule it within just a few days of ordering - I actually wasn't ready for them! Emery with Backyard Buildings & More in Sacramento was AWESOME. Overall couldn't be more pleased with the quality for the price.

I chose this company because the price was tight and they include installation. The shed went up in two days, is sturdy and looks great! We finished the inside ourselves - but honestly, so impressed with the quality for the price we paid. It may not last for decades, but it’s perfect for our needs right now.

If you are considering a shed from this company, you likely are trying to get a decent product that doesn't destroy your finances. Most sheds run into the $5000 plus range that are installed onsite. But this company seemed to have a reasonable price and good reviews attached to their product, so I went for it. Here is the breakdown from my experience. Pros: * Price - they are very competitive with other brands and companies locally and nationally. * Choice - you can get different building sizes, shingle colors, and floor options. You can also choose to build it yourself or have it installed by them. * Quality - overall good quality wood and materials used (with one exception - see the cons list below). Cons: * The listing of the product says the company will contact you within 72 hours to schedule installation. It took them two weeks to call me to confirm an install date - which was another 7 weeks out. * The installers did a decent job building the shed, but did make some mistakes such as missing the studs with their nail gun, nailing through the shingles and into the drip edge, and not aligning all the pieces up as good as it could be. I should note that overall, they did a good job. It took them all day to build the shed. * The materials provided by the company were generally good, but they used UNTREATED lumber under the roof overhang and around the window. Why would they do this? My shed was installed at the end of October and the temperatures didn't give me enough time to waterproof or paint/stain it. It just seems odd but maybe this is not abnormal? * The last item I was not liking was the double doors. They do use a continuous hinge on each side which I like, but the door itself is not thick. It is thin and flimsy and doesn't provide any seal at all from water/moisture. The installer told me I needed to buy weather stripping for the door and he ain't joking. There is literally a half inch gap running down the center where they both meet and in certain spots they don't align correctly. I want to state again that, for the price, this is an overall good quality product. Most companies don't even come close to offering what they do for the price. Just be prepared to fix, correct, or adjust things to make it even better. But to me, it was still worth the price.

Really sturdy shed and the guy that installed it did a good job. The only thing they only build it and you are responsible for caulking and painting but was worth it.

This shed is good. I’m not a carpenter, but I just followed the directions and it went up fine. It’s much better than some cheep ones that are out there. The floor kit worked out good too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was such a great purchase for the price. Once completed, it turned out to be very sturdy. I was able to put 80% of the shed by myself. I received assistance from my son's with the roof shingles. Altogether, it took about 13 hrs to complete the project.

After a long search I was looking forward to having this shed and get it installed (which was included in the purchase price) Overall, it's a good design and descent quality. I have prepared the site by pouring an 8 x 10 flat concrete slab for an easy installation. Everything went really well until the installation. It took 2 workers 3 hours to complete. Halfway through I asked if there were any issues and concerns. "Nope". Installers left without any notice. It's an amateur job. I could've done better. I will have to hire someone to make it more solid and not held together by the holy spirit. See attached pictures.

Highly recommend! The team of two that came to set ot up did an amazing job. Very happy. We added the 2x6 to the bottom and created our own ramp like a uhaul that is stored under the front of the shed.

There is some prep work to make sure it lasts (caulking seams and painting), but it seems worth it. So far, I love my new 8 x 10 Meridian shed.
