Awesome shower head! It took me about 5 minutes to install it. As others have stated, it has a very substantial mass to it, it is quite heavy when trying to put it up by yourself and trying to keep the step stool steady. I connected it to a Kohler shower pipe and it looked great. I left the flow restrictor in and tested the shower head. With the restrictor in, it feels like a gentle rainfall over my head so I removed it as I like to have a little more of a flow coming out. I have always been impressed by the Hansgrohe fixtures and this one is another winner.

I requested this Raindance 12 inch wide showerhead in chrome originally to install in our bath tub shower to give my wife a more soothing shower experience since she suffers from fibromyalgia which causes pain whenever something is impacting her skin with even minor force. This showerhead employs air infusion into the water jets to soften the water to make your showering feel closer to being in an actual rain fall.I do commend Hansgrohe for their innovative method of softening the sensation independent from a water softening system. However, as is fairly typical of their product line, they appear to be too reliant on their pricing to demonstrate the luxury-grade quality of their products like this showerhead and have not given sufficient attention to offering extra features found in their competitors like LED lights that indicate water temperature and multiple spray modes just to name a couple of the most commonly sought features. Of course, this is not to say that this isn't a good product for a high-end shower unit as this product feels solidly made and will give a luxurious experience for certain.

I was at a hotel when I first saw one of these. Let me say it is awesome. It comes in a really nice box packed really well. It has a set of white gloves to use while installing so not to get fingerprints all over it. It fits most shower pipes just like a normal shower. Just make sure to use some pipe tape before installing. Once tightened turn it on and let it rain!

I failed to note the size of this shower head when I selected it and it is a bit overwhelming at a full 12” diameter. It weighs 4.5 lbs which will tax the normal shower head neck coming from the supply. It does provide a nice soothing “rain” shower and will save water at 2.25GPM rating. If you want elegance in your shower, then you need the Hansgrohe Raindance 300 air-spray showerhead. Yes, it is pricey, but true luxury comes at a price and this German designed, quality showerhead will last for years. When the shower is turned on, a large supply of air is sucked into the 12-inch head and infused with the incoming water creating light softer droplets of water falling like rain on your skin. It is a shower experience that you won’t want to end and believe me, everyone takes much longer showers now that we have one and guest always have positive comments on it. On the practical side, the nozzles are silicone so that dirt, calcium (limescale) and other buildup can be easily and quickly rubbed off to maintain appearance and proper water flow. The showerhead has a heavy chrome coating which will stay beautiful for many years. A swivel ball allows you to direct the spray angle, but I prefer the straight down position. The supply pipe to the showerhead can be ceiling or wall mounted. The supply pipe is not included but wish it was. This shower head is so heavy that it takes a very strong supply pipe to support it when wall mounted. It comes with a limited lifetime warranty for residential use. Hansgrohe, founded in 1901, is one of the worlds largest suppliers of showerheads. If you desire a high quality shower head that gives you that club house or spa feeling, you certainly won’t be disappointed with this fine product. What other shower head comes with white gloves for handling. That made me laugh.

This is a huge shower head and fairly heavy. Its very easy to install and just use teflon tape on the threads and screw it on. So that you don’t get your fingerprints on the shower head, they also include a pair of cloth gloves.The stream from the shower head is great and very refreshing. The shower head is just shy of 12 inches across, so the water output is more than sufficient. This is definitely a great item.

Absolutely gorgeous rain showerhead in chrome. High quality, heavy and well made. Comes with a pair of white cotton gloves to handle this chrome fixture and keep it from getting fingerprints all over it when installing. I already had a 15 inch wall arm so I just had to screw on this shower head with a 17mm wrench and tighten the safety screw with a 2mm Allen wrench (this safety screw keeps the shower head securely on the extension arm so it doesn't fall and harm anyone or anything). (see pics for more details). My former shower head was about half the size and my walk-in 6ft shower stall really needed a larger one. This one is perfect and has a nice full body coverage flow of water. I noticed that the water still drained out of the shower head for about 15 seconds after shutting off the water but that wasn't a big deal for me. The shower head can be moved (on a ball joint) to direct flow of water. NOTE: You will need to purchase the ceiling or wall extension arm separately along with needing the 2mm allen wrench to tighten the safety screw (I think they should have included the allen wrench for the price of this shower head since that item is required for the safety of this item). I felt that the installation booklet was a little confusing with different languages right next to each other on each page so I went into the Home Depot to look up this product and found clearer instructions under the "installation" tab under this product. I also think there should be a coordinating shower arm suggested with this product online to make it easier for anyone needing that item for installation. All in all, I think this product is high quality in its look and in its engineering!

There is nothing much to say about this Hansgrohe Raindance 300 Air 1-Spray 12 in. Showerhead. I have attached some pictures and a video. They say that a picture is more worth than 1000 words, but here, the pictures and video will not have much effect; you need to be physically under this shower to feel and experience the wonders of technology that Hansgrohe has brought forward in this amazing Air infused Rainshower. It is mesmerizing, and feels so good!I believe that  the price tag is a little high; maybe Hansgrohe can check to see if they have posted the real price or they can adjust it a little bit.
