Worked for the space I needed. Very easy to work with and the end product was amazing.

Multiple defects found in the countertop, to the point I thought it had to be the bad side. Flipped it over, only to find it was twice as bad. Uneven surface areas, cracks, and apparent adhesive/fillers left on surface. Would have returned it, but was in a time crunch and managed to patch and sand some of them, making it mediocre. This is the third butcher block countertop I’ve purchased in the past 2 years. Went with a different vendor for the previous two and will go back to them for future purchases. Disappointed to say the least.

Had the butcher block on an island with four supports underneath. It still cracked, and not along the joint! See pics. Super disappointed but glad I didnt buy this company's butcher block for all my counters. What a disaster.

The quality isn't there. There are splits and defects beyond natural aesthetics. A complete waste of money in my opinion.

Overall, a good experience. Mostly... I had 3 pieces shipped to my home that were delivered on time. They were handled pretty roughly though no real damage during shipping. However, one 10' piece had 4 drink rings on the good side in it! Must have been the end of the day..? Rings sanded right out as it's just wood after all. Another Island piece had quite a large gauge (2" x 1.5" almost 1/4" deep) right in the middle of the good side! Luckily that's where my stove went. Easy to work with.

Beautiful countertop

Excellent product, does what it needs to. However, I must have overlooked the specifications, but the 6' butcher block is actually 74". That means it will have a 1" overhang on both sides of a 6foot base. Thats cool, but not cool when you don't plan for it before purchasing. And yes I could cut it, so its not the end of the world. I applied 4 coats of mineral oil and connected it to the base using a nail gun. Looks good, I hope it lasts.

This butcher block stained great and fits our space amazing. It’s exactly what we were looking for.

The butcher block itself is very nice and the wood is well assorted. Nevertheless it was hard to find since it was on a different level in the kitchen section. I was looking for some modern easy attachable legs ( like the Hettich Set of 4 for 40 $)since I want to make an office table out of it. It would make sense at least to have on set in the aisle or an information where at least to find the wooden legs in the lumber section.

Qc must have took the day off. Plastic wrap hid this deffect.

This butcher block looks fantastic. I was going to stain it dark gray before installing on top of my electric fireplace bump out in my new TV room but it looked so good out of the box that I just applied three coats of poly and put it in place.

Perfect for our breakfast nook.

I bought 3 of these, to join into one large counter top, from the same store at the same time, exact same item but totally different once I opened them. Different wood, different pattern widths, different thickness, and different edge. Each individually was very nice, just not all the same so be carefull if your looking for them to match

Looks good after food grade coating, easy to cut, easy to stain, quality product and not to expensive. Better than laminate and cheaper than granite.

In my case, there were these lines that ran perpendicular to the grain that only showed up after staining. I had sanded to 220 only since the manufacturer says they sand to 150 grit. I recommend either redoing the 150 grit sand before progressing to 220, or using a flashlight at an angle to look for potential mill marks to prevent extra work on your end. Also depending on your butcher block, you may want wood filler. I personally stained with kona by varathane and I really loved the color!

If you're looking for a butcher block top that you can take home, seal, and install in a day or two, look elsewhere. However, if you have the tools and ability to properly prep the wood, then it's a viable option. I was able to see obvious mill marks in the wood, so these are definitely not ready for stain. The underside had several large knot holes that needed filled with wood filler prior to sanding. When I began sanding, I discovered several spots where the surface was higher or lower than the overall surface. This required significantly more sanding to level out the top surface. Once finished, it looks great. However, it took a very long time to get it to that point.

We remodeled our kitchen with these counters and saved a fortune! With 2 coats of stain and 4 coats of polyurethane, they are so durable and beautiful. Very pleased with the results

Absolutely beautiful butcher's block. The wood is perfectly smooth, no splintering whatsoever, and it's a solid piece of wood. We purchased counter height metal legs to make our own open island in our office kitchen, and it will be gorgeous.

Wanted to use this as countertop. Instructions said to treat within 48hrs of tearing down the plastic. Went into the store & found that every single piece of butcher block they had in stock was almost completely unwrapped=over 48 hrs had already passed of the plastic being torn down & it hadn’t been treated. Their personnel convinced me it didn’t matter so I bought it because they had limited stock & was afraid they would run out. Called customer service the next day & they weren’t helpful.

The butcher block was in great condition out of the package and very high quality for the price. I used it for an L-shaped desk and cut off a 20" portion that was connected on the side via dominos. Sanded it down with 120-220 grit sandpaper and finished with Rubio Monocoat Pure on both sides. The final product looks beautiful and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. Definitely recommend!

I really like the look of this product after applying mineral oil. Should have a nice long life. Glad I purchased with the rounded edge

Used this butcher block in our new kitchen. Cut and oiled directly out of the packaging. We used Milk Paint brand half and half tung oil (half pure tung oil, half food safe citrus solvent) which is a hardening oil. Installed after oiling and curing. They are holding up well and are easily wipeable with this finish. They feel is a bit rough but as expected. For the price these countertops are good so far!

Material was easy to work with however two weeks after installation it cupped 1/8th inch. Reached out to hardwood reflections and the representative told me to uninstall and apply weight to level it out. Disappointed after spending over $1500 on their product to get that kind of support.

When I read the reviews, there are a few that gave it a 1 star. The countertop is made of wood and wood is just not perfect. It was a little warped but when I installed it I used screws in just a few places and it laid flat. It looks beautiful! I used a matt finish, looks amazing. Now I need to finish the walls with ship lap and paint the cabinets!
