poor product
was full of pock marks and had warped boards. had to return and purchase different flooring.

Returning the product!
Against my husbands better judgement, I ordered this product instead of purchasing a flooring that we were able to see in the store. I was very disappointed to say the least. The flooring looked nothing like the on line picture. It has a red tone, with no shine, no finish at all.
Most of the pieces are 1-2 foot lengths with very few 5-6 ft. It looks like they were returned boxes that had been gone through because some were not very organized.
I should have paid more attention to the one review that was posted on line, but thought he or she must be a hard to please customer.
I am writing a review to save someone the headache of returning several boxes of flooring! Don't usually do this!
On a positve note, if you like the look of old flooring with a redish color stain, no shine, you will like this product!
I would recommend that home depot take a new picture of this product to portray the true color and finish

You are correct; this floor has a very low gloss which emulates a European Oil Finish (note that the description includes : This floor features a revolutionary finish that provides the durability of aluminum oxide but offers an ultra low gloss visual with a luxurious feel.). Low gloss floors have gained significant popularity in recent years due to both the vintage look and also because scratches are less likely to show in low gloss floors versus high gloss ones.
The product is packaged in random lengths, and may include lengths between 11 3/4" and 78", however, we do maintain a shorter average length to maximize the number of boards in the installed floor, further accentuating the rustic characteristics such as knots, dark mineral streaks, pin holes, etc.. and strong color variations. Since it is often difficult to capture the exact appearance of a floor in a small photograph, we offer free samples (the phone number is shown in the product bullets) so customers can review the floor’s appearance before ordering. "

disappointed in product compared to what we saw on web site
Disappointed in the finish...very dull, without the "shine" displayed on HD web site...will have to add that, lots of damage when recieved
