The product was not difficult to assemble and mount. I’m an old man and have difficulty working with my hands over my head so somebody younger probably would not have as much difficulty as I did. The fan works well and the light is great. We bought the product for a closet and it works great! It’s quiet and provides circulation. If I had to have a negative comment, it would be that the fan reversal switch is on the top of the fan and not on the remote. You have to get on a ladder and change the fan in the winter in the summer to rotate.

Lights went out and can not find replacement and can’t get anyone to assist with this product. Purchased two from Home Depot, they have no knowledge and the mfg can’t be reached. Truly disappoint

    FIRE HAZARD DO NOT BUY
    I purchased this fan in November of 2020. Today (01/07/2024) it caught fire while not on. In a matter of seconds the fan went from sizzling, to smoking to open flames coming out from the housing toward the ceiling. If my wife had not been in the kitchen the house would have caught. DO NOT BUY!!! Also fan is way too noisy and doesn’t circulate air well.

      Light went out only after a year.
      Kitchen is. On dark but the fan still works. Very frustrating that a light is out. Now it’s worthless for my needs.

        Looks nice but fan is too loud
        The design looks really nice, lights are bright and dimmable however the 3 speed fan is too loud. On the lowest speed it’s producing over 52db regardless of direction up or down. It sounds just like a cheap $20 box fan. I out this in a kitchen during a remodel. It can be heard throughout the house. It would be awful in a bedroom.

          Only for looks
          Looks so cute in my kitchen. Light works great. The fan however does nothing! You can stand directly under it and feel very little air. The high & medium settings are way too loud, only the low setting is quiet but then the fan is useless.

            DO NOT PURCHASE -Caught on FIRE
            Bought 2 years ago for dining room. Lucky we were having dinner when the light started flickering. After 2 minutes we heard a loud noise, we looked up and the light/fan was on fire! We were able to stop fire. It was very scary! It could have been a disaster. When I contacted the manufacturer (Home Depot) all they did was refund me my money. This light/fan needs to be recalled.

              Meltdown
              Power supply for the leds melted. Instead of a full replacement they sent a light kit. The fan had to be taken down and completely disassembled to replace the parts. Components fail I understand that but either provide a new unit or engineer the fan to be easier for consumers to replace parts.

                Airflow is directly downwards
                I bought this because I wanted a fan with hidden blades and don’t feel like airflow is distributed evenly since it doesn’t have vents on the side only underneath I appreciate that it lights up but the air doesn’t spread out through the room to keep it cool. The other thing I noticed is that the metal is already rusting and I just bought this fan as new. I have attached pictures.

                  Piece of Crap
                  DO NOT PURCHASE THIS FAN. I purchased two of these fans and within 8 months both are rusted. Neither Home Decorators nor Home Depot will stand behind their product. Their response is that they do not warranty against rust. Hmmm go figure!!

These fans are damp rated and as long as they are installed indoors or under a covered outdoor setting they should not be developing issues from the moisture.                     Lots of compliments
                    Beautiful light , I have received many compliments on it . I'm installing one in a friends house soon. Installed easy , works great . Make sure to change the code on the receiver and remote from factory settings , I didn't and the light turned on by itself in the middle of the night. Once I changed the settings it has been working perfectly.

                    Beautiful but disappointing
                    This fan is absolutely gorgeous unfortunately the fan led driver caught fire and burned out. So we called the help line and we were told "that is very common and happens all the time." We bought the fan about 18 months ago and now it's just trash.

                      Disappointed
                      Installed in kid room next to bunk beds. Light and fan comes on randomly at night. Checked wiring back to panel and remote frequency, nothing resolves issue. Scared 5 year old won't sleep in his own room now. Expensive and disappointing.

                        Faulty and extremely loud
                        The motor keeps changing speeds on it own. It’s extremely loud and doesn’t move enough air unless directly under it.

It is possible that there is interference from other ceiling fans and devices in the area. That can be easily remedied by changing the dipswitch code in the battery compartment of the remote and matching the code in the fan’s receiver located in the canopy. If that does not resolve the issue, the fan is covered by a manufacturer warranty.                           Makes noise and light died less than a yeas after installation
                          Bought this for my kids room because they have loft beds. Within two months of use it was screaming with the fan on. Now 10 months later the led lighting that’s not replaceable does not work so no light in the kids room. Wish I had the receipt at the two month mark I would have returned it. Don’t waste your money it’s cheap

                              LED light going out
                              I purchased this product June 2020. The ceiling fan appearance is wonderful but the issue with the light is bad. From what I gather I would have to replace the entire fan. What a waste of my money and time.

                              Hello, the fan will not need to be replaced if you are needing replacement light strips, you may call 1-877-902-5588 for assistance. Please keep in mind that the led lights have a dimmer and if dimmed you may restore the brightness by pressing down the light kit button on the remote. HDCEdYano

                                great product until today
                                We purchased this fan for our sons’ room on July 11, 2020, which has bunk beds. The fan was a great purchase and the light was plenty bright for their room. Today we went to run a few errands and returned home to the smell of an electrical short. I found the motor housing hot to the touch and turned the power off and allowed it to cool before removing from the room. After contacting HD about a warranty claim, I got curious as to what the issue was and found the issue. Hopefully it is covered under warranty. I would buy another without hesitation

                                    Loud, doesn’t cool room
                                    I installed this fan in my son’s bedroom since he has a loft bed and needed an enclosed fan for safety. This fan is very loud, even at the lowest setting, and you can’t feel the cool air unless you are directly below it. The medium setting isnt much better for cooling and is too loud for a bedroom and the highest setting sounds like a jet engine. We had to buy him a small fan that we could attach to his bed. This is a poorly designed fan.

                                    Gary this fan will sound just like a standing fan, if it was louder then that, the cage and or blade may have been loose.                                       Do NOT buy this for your bathroom - IT WILL RUST
                                      We purchased this fan for our bathroom just a year ago. It now looks horrible. Although it says it is an indoor/outdoor fan it has rusted inside and out and looks horrible! It's such a shame too because we loved this fan. When you go onto the fan website it specifically states the 1-year warranty does not cover rusting. Now we know why. It looked nice when we installed it, but do NOT put in in a bathroom. Now we have to find something else. Don't waste your money.

                                          Beautiful fan, BUT...
                                          I am not an electrician, but I have installed quite a few fans in my time. This was by far the hardest fan to install myself. I eventually got it up and it does look great and works perfectly. Be cautious if you are a DIYer like me and plan plenty of time to deal with the wires and lack of space to get those wires back up into the junction box. (The image of the light in wouldn't load, but it works :) )
