+ seems durable + far thicker and softer than old-school (15 yrs ago?) outdoor carpets I've got a couple of huge outdoor carpets, used seasonally, under no shade, that are both 15 years old -- they have held up, but that's not surprising in that they're apparently made of kevlar and razor wire. These carpets are much thicker and softer; I'll undoubtedly use them seasonally and initially under cover until I get a sense of how they'll hold up -- but on first inspection they don't seem terribly fragile. DARPA has not, however, improved upon the printing in the last 15 years; these look like softer, thicker outdoor carpets. My other carpet that arrived with this is a quasi-oriental-geometric design; this block pattern kind of highlights the spaces between, but doesn't look like it was dot-matrix printed. Either way, your bare feet will thank you.

This rug is well made, but the colors are much more muted than the on-line picture suggested, but I should know better than to try to match colors without seeing an item in person. It looks like it will hold up well to the moderate traffic it will see by our door. The braiding on the edges will keep it from fraying, and also provides a great cat-scratch point for our felines (though certainly not a fault of the rug!). The price is somewhat high for this size rug so we'll see if it lasts long enough to warrant the expense.

I have the Baxter rug in silver in the 2' X 3' size. It's the perfect size for my entryway. Since it's an indoor/outdoor rug, I have it outside. It catches all the debris on footwear before entering the house. The borders are finished securely, so it doesn't look like it will fray anytime soon. It has a nice weave. I give it a shake occasionally to remove the debris and that's about all it needs. Looks to be a very durable rug.

The rug is more than I expected. The size is perfect for placing in front of the sink and seems comfortable for standing. My small dog attacked the rug after I opened it and did considerable scratching, I was surprised that none of the braiding came lose. The colors are attractive but a little on the light side so will have to be careful not to track in dirt from the outside.

This is an excellent purchase if you are looking for an indoor outdoor rug. First of all teh quality is very high standard. The weaving of the rug is top notch and the weave is of a larger shape that I expected when looking at the pictures. But that is a very good thing for an indoor outdoor rug. We picked teh line green color option and the color is extremely vibrant. We are generally happy with the purcahse.

I have another rug the same as this one but in a different color. I'm hoping (as with the last one) that the color stays bright and it holds up to all the traffic it will get in my house. The rug is soft but seems like it will take a lot of abuse. I'm not sure how it will hold up to sunlight because I haven't had it long enough to see. I'll know in about six months.

Great indoor/ outdoor rug. I have not had it very long but it looks like it will last a long time. It's not slippery and my dog curled up on it as soon as it was put on the floor. Hopefully in 6 months to a year I will able to say that the color has held up and there shouldn't be any signs of wear. I can recommend this rug for anyone looking for a small indoor/outdoor rug.

The Baxter Black / White braided area rug is a 1/2" thick and I think it will hold up well for a long time. Some of the other small rugs I have are much thinner so this one stands out. The material its made from is soft enough that you can walk on it barefoot with no issues. Both sides are the same so you can flip the mat to extend its life. This rug is a 1/2" thick and should do well in high traffic areas.
