Was an easy installation, no cracks or scratches in the glass as with other lights we have bought.

I have purchased a large breakfast room fixture but did not like the accompanying over the bar light fixtures. This model is a wonderful “match” of color and structure. It is sleek and stunning at the same time

I bought four of these pendants and one of them came without the pole. I'm calling home depot and they want to redirect me with ome of their vendors so I can deal directly with them. I bought the product from the Home Depot website, they should be the ones that fix this issue.

Home Decorators Collection Desmond 1-Light Black Pendant Light This light pendant features a smoky seeded glass shade. The shade stands at 15-1/2 inches tall and has a diameter of 8 inches. This light includes 4 metal pole segments, two of which are 1 foot in length each, and 2 that are 6 inches in length each. You can adjust the height by omitting, any number of the segments to bring the light to the height desired. The shady has a smoky color to the glass in addition to the seedy look. Light has a standard bulb base, allowing the widest selection of light bulb configurations. This great looking light looks much better in person than in photos. Easy to install and includes everything needed.

It was a little larger than expected but the multiple length hanging rods make it able to be used in a lot of different sized spaces. The glass is has some weight and is well made with lots of light transmission, it does have a slight tint to it but not much. The mounting hardware is well though out and are hinged loops than make installation much easier.
