After redoing my downstairs bathroom, I decided I also needed to change the lighting. I wanted something more modern, with seeded glass and with brushed nickel. I was hesitant because this hung down 2 more inches than my previous light, but it looks beautiful and not too big for the space. I bought a second one for the laundry room too.

This light fixture is simple enough; it consists of a small lightweight metal base in a brushed nickel finish, and a clear glass globe. It's just lacking quality. First, the box is labeled with "Interior", but the instructions say "Exterior". This may simply be a printing error, but it remains unclear whether this was intended or usable in an exterior location. Second, the glass has some imperfections in it, such as little bumps as well as a very rough edge at the bottom opening. Considering that the bottom opening is the first thing you see when you look up at the light, it's a bit disappointing to see that jagged edge. Third, the way it is designed, the glass is quite loose when hanging from the base, and therefore difficult to get it to look level.

Got this to replace our bathroom fixture, You can see from the pictures, how much more light is given through round light. Easy change over from old fixture to new one. I had to clean the the fixture prior to placing on the mount. I wore a pair of gloves so as not to dirty it again. A little tricky attaching glass bowl to the mount but otherwise one of the easiest changeovers I have ever completed From the pictures you can see the difference in the two lights. Very pleased with choice.

I was drawn to the Evelyn Brushed Nickel Round Shade Flush Mount fixture because, while it is a flush mount, it is not the kind that sits close to ceiling with a center bolt holding the shade. The fixture has a small footprint, and a delicate clear glass globe shade that projects downward from the ceiling on a steel base. The fixture accepts bulbs up to 60 watts, sold separately. The manufacturer warranty is a full 5 years. This fixture is easy to install with the usual 3 wires. I would choose it for a hallway or bathroom. It is very unique looking and will put out a lot of light. I have deducted 1 star because the globe is easily broken and could have been made of thicker material. Should it get broken, you can replace it with another shade with a 3.25" neck (a common size).

Light Brushed Nickel Round Flush Mount Is Easy installed with the hardware packaged in side , Cut the power and removed my old light with the assembled new mount plate that come inside , then installed brushed nickel ceiling box cover then installed globe and installed bulb , then turn power on to check out cool light mounted , I see that a Round Clear Bulb would look much BETTER > see Pictures attached ...

This is a great little fake sure that could be used to light up a small area leading to the bathroom and closet you can even use it in a closet if you wanted to and what today’s LED technology would be perfect. Installation of pictures like this are usually pretty straightforward and this one is no exception instructions are clear and easily understood

Ridiculously easy to install, took about 7 minutes. My only minor concern is that the picture on the box is a completely different color than the online picture so I panicked a little but it's the color of the online picture not the box.

I just installed this in our bathroom. I obviously haven't had it long but I am very happy with the way it looks, it was easy to install and works great. The brass finish and glass globe, paired with an Edison-style LED bulb as pictured, give it an antique-ish farmhouse look we really like. If you are going for a similar look this would be a good choice.

Used in our washer/dryer area, makes s huge anesthetic difference compared to the 1980's brass fixture that was previously.

This light was very easy to install but be VERY careful when screwing in a light bulb after installing. My Apple Watch barely tapped the shade as I was screwing in my light bulb and it broke a huge chunk out of the glass shade! Kind of disappointed in the quality.

We installed the light fixture in the pantry. We wanted something that would light up the whole area.

Like the modern look. Fixture was easy to install but the Edison bulbs I purchased hang a little off center. The sticker on the ring that holds the glass in place is big and you may want to remove it before you begin the installation. Overall good value.

This light fixture is the perfect edition to my house. It is beautiful, well constructed and easy to install. The touch of gold on the inside gives it an elegant feature. I bought 4 of them recently for each hallway in the house...the delivery was quick and it definitely meets all expectations.

A great fixture to display your favorite decorative Edison bulb! This is essentially a fishbowl stuck to the ceiling. Excellent if you want good atmospheric or mood lighting featuring beautiful classic Edison light bulbs. If you're looking to throw in one of those energy saving CLF bulbs, you'll want something else. Perhaps something with frosted glass to diffuse bright and ugly bulbs. This brushed nickel fixture is specifically made to showcase a nice lower-wattage bulb. Anything above 60W and you'll be blinded for sure. A bit plain for my taste, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Like most things appearances can be confusing. It doesnt take a lot to change a light fixture... This light fixture has an appealing look to it for me... I liked the fish bowl appearance to the fixture and the brushed nickel base is always a favorite of mine... It only took about 15 min. to change the fixtures and in the end it offers refreshing as well as a newer more modern look to a room.

This fixture feels and looks expensive. The installation was simple. It offers excellent illumination and the globe is very clear. The base is sturdy and luxurious. Installation was less than 30min.

I had an addition put on my house twenty some years ago and the builder put up basic lighting fixtures in the hall. Time for an upgrade and this fixture is perfect. Took me less than twenty minutes to install the new light. I had a 40 watt Edison bulb I purchased from Home Depot and placed it inside. Easy to replace bulbs with wide mouth base, plus won’t have that problem with stray insects getting inside globes.

I have hung hundreds of lights and fixture's but have never seen one like this. One thing I truly love is great engineering. The ease of hanging a light is so easy its almost child's play. But the really, really cool thing is the way the globe is attached. Most ANY outdoor light I've seen has a way to trap bugs, fry 'em up, then you have to clean it up. Is that what you are looking for? More WORK? AIN'T HAPPENING WITH THIS GLOBE!! The brushed nickel finish is soooo nice. One itty bittty tiny gripe.....WHY use a glue for the label that wants to be there forever????? HMMM? It took longer to get the glue off that it did to hang the fixture!!!! But we are all smiles, now.

I purchased this product months ago to replace a non working fixture. The globe was just way too plain for me so I found a fancier light cover in the ceiling fan isle. Still cheaper than buying an entirely new fixture and looks great

It's somewhat stark and industrial yet it has an element of attractiveness. As things turned out, I have to say that I'm pleased with the fixture. My only problems with it are that it doesn't come with the alluded to bulb...or any bulb for that matter, the quality is mediocre at best and it doesn't come in a pull-chain style. It just so happened that I needed a pull chain version so I took a ceiling fan pull chain switch, drilled an appropriately sized hole in the side of the canopy, installed the switch in the normal manner and - voila - pull chain version. That made me like this fixture above and beyond its other attributes due to the simple fact that there's no light switch in my laundry room.

Beautiful light we installed over our kitchen sink. I needed something that had a base less than 12 inches to fit in a small space and this fit the bill perfectly. Hopefully it lasts many years.
