This HomeLegend Gundstock White Oak Engineered Hardwood flooring is beautiful. It has a variety of shades mixed in and that's what makes it so beautiful when it is put down. We are very pleased with it.

Think twice
You know the saying you get what you pay for… Well I didn’t! I bought 19 boxes of this flooring and the boards were so little. I had way to many short pieces and the width was so skinny… 1000 dollars and it barley did two standard rooms. I’m a little snobby so I’m like it’s real WOOD this is the it factor right… wrong. The worst part about this floor is if you walk on it it will leave your bare print if you put on toe print it will show. I read this in a review before I about these floors but it was minor so I thought. You will mop this floor 4 times a day. It shows every single grit. Annnnnnnnnnnd it scratches super duper easy. That’s what my snobby a$$ get! Bargain is always best . What I will say is if you have the money to buy and never plan yo walk on these floors go for it

I recently installed this flooring in our master bedroom. I was looking for an inexpensive alternative to replace the old carpet. I was initially concerned about the reviews of it not being durable enough and scratching easily, however we have had it for several weeks now and have not had an issue. We have two small dogs and they do not cause the floor to scratch. I don’t drag furniture across, don’t drop things on, and am somewhat careful with my real hardwood floors, so I treat this floor the same. If you are the type of person that takes care of your floors - it is a good choice. I wouldn’t use it in a playroom or in another high volume area. It is a beautiful floor given the inexpensive price as compared to other choices, it was easy to install, and we would buy it again.

This is a great looking floor but it scratches easily and it be bends in dry conditions. The wood part is thin as a business card.

        Looks beautiful but scratches
We installed this flooring for my grandmothers kitchen. It looks beautiful and gives the kitchen an elegant look , however it scratches SO easily. My grandma has 3 dogs and the floor has scratches already. We moved the stove and now the flooring has a DEEP scratch that we tried to fill but is still noticeable. I would not purchase this flooring if you have heavy traffic, dogs, heavy furniture/appliances in the room

          Big Regret on this Flooring
I purchased a bunch of this flooring and had it installed by a private contractor. Long story short, after about six months, it all started to warp. I have come to find out that 'Home Legend' is a private label brand of Home Depot. They DO NOT stand behind this product and the '30 year' warranty printed on the box is garbage. I had the floor inspected and it was determined that the install was done correctly, but the humidity in my home was too low. That's right, I was told this flooring warped because the humidity was too low. Hello, I live in Colorado and this is a very dry state! Not everyone has a humidifier in their home because we happen to like the dry climate. This flooring might as well be made of tissue paper, it is so delicate! This product should not be sold in dry states like Colorado and Arizona. I am basically out thousands of dollars because this product is junk and Home Depot couldn't care any less! DO NOT purchase this product. I couldn't even get a courtesy call from anyone at Home Depot about this. I got the standard form letter telling me "buy a humidifier, too bad for you".

Its easy to install, and the finish looks great however this floor scratches extremely easy! Never slide any furniture without felt pads or allow children to play with any hard toys on it because it will scratch.

Have put down about 500 sq feet in 3 rooms so far. Easy to work with. So far, I have not run across any bad pieces. Recommendations for DIY folks: 1. Get a laminate floor cutter (some call it a guillotine). It will save you a lot of trips to the miter saw. Big time saver for a little over $120. 2. The instructions required a 1/2 gap between the wall and end of plank. That is too wide to cover with regular shoe mold, so choice is to use 1/4 round, remove the baseboard, or get something like the Dremel Super Max and use the flush cut blade to cut out a space for the planks to expand under. Regular shoe molding will work great with the minimal gap that remains. 3. This manufacturer wants you to acclimate the flooring at least 72 hours, unwrapped. Keep that in mind.

Easy to install and looks great. Really need to open a few or more boxes and make sure there is enough variation in the patterns before installing. Would get this again and would recommend to anyone looking to DIY a new floor. Did 250 sq ft in about 10 hours. Having a table saw would have made it go faster but was still easy without fancy tools.

Easy to install with the snap & lock method. The overall look and quality of the material is commensurate with the reasonable price. I would give it 5-stars but the color is significantly different than the images on the website. Much less variation in the color than I anticipated but I used it for a large walk-in closet so it wasn't a big deal.

After living with old, previous owner/rental carpet for way too long waiting to have enough saved to have hardwood professionally installed we finally found this engineered click lock product that we could install ourselves and went for it. The price was within our budget & it is very easy to work with for us DIY’ers. We are planning to do the job room by room and started with a hallway. Now we can watch to see how it holds up & if it doesn’t wear well, we can switch to something else. Love it so far. Gorgeous! I have an area rug w/high quality pad down to protect it.

This was for our beach house. I would have given a 5 star because the product is great and was easy to install but I am ohhhh soooo sad, I absolutely hate the color. :( We wanted a white floor but could not afford the only other option for that so went with this product looked like it would be close to a white shade but as soon as I opened the first box I knew it was all wrong but being under pressure to complete the project we took a chance and laid it anyway hoping the color would be okay, but no. And without any sheen at all, it is dull and makes the entire living room and dinning room feel cold and monotoned.

Really great flooring for the price
I first purchased this flooring for my downstairs living room because it matched the hardwood flooring we installed on our main floor. Have since bought more for our upstairs bedrooms/hall. Gotta say: this flooring looks better than my hardwood flooring and has held up to scratching from my 80 pound dog better! It's the easiest flooring I've ever installed too. In a box you don't just get one length of flooring , you get 3 different lengths (mostly long pieces, a medium sized piece , and a small piece). This makes the floor look really realistic and seems to aid in it all locking in and laying down well. If you like the appearance of the flooring, I don't think you will be disappointed at all!

you get what you pay for
Weve had this flooring in one bedroom of our house for about a year now. For the price the quality is good! It does scratch if you drag something sharp on in it, but has withheld the weight of my Peloton for the past year with no dents. As the title says, you get what you pay for. This isnt a solid hardwood that would cost twice as much. Were now going to redo the flooring in another bedroom with this product!

Click lock was very easy to install. The floor looks great, but I'm just concerned how it will hold up over time. It seems to dent fairly easy. I'm hoping it resists scratches a bit better.

                  so far, so good
The porch floor replaced with antique birch click flooring. The seams have glue or something that has to be wiped off after installing but was no problem. It took 2 to 1/2 hrs. The waste was minimal and scratches were on one board.

We just completed approximately 500 sq ft and it installed easily (still alot of work). We have a small dog and have not seen any problems with nails scratching the flooring. The one thing I learned early on was to make sure each bit fits together tightly and locks before moving on (they will not snap into place easily later by taping with a plastic block). I had to undo and redo part of the walk in closet because of this.

My daughter wanted the old carpet out of her room and hardwood floors instead. Being on a tight budget, I looked into doing the work myself. I have never installed anything like this and found that it was really very easy. I read the manufacturers instructions, watched some You Tube videos and dove right in! The prep work is important, but the flooring went in very quickly. Placing it where the room met the closets was trickier, but using a handheld undercut saw made it a lot easier and looked much, much better than trying to cut the plank to fit. The product itself was beautiful, and in all 10 cartons, I didn't find a single piece that was damaged or otherwise not useable. They fit together beautifully and I couldn't be any happier. I would definitely recommend this product.

I was so excited to get these new floors. We took weeks to pick one out. My dad spent a lot of money on these floors and we installed them together. I am in tears with how horrible the floors look after just 2 weeks. They scratch and show indents so easily. We have dogs and there are indents everywhere. Anytime we accidentally slide our small, lightweight tv tray, instead of picking it up and moving it closer, the floors scratch. Anytime the dogs walk on the floor there are claw indents. I am so beyond devastated with the floors. I'm scared out of my mind to tell my dad that the money he spent was a huge waste. I am in tears as i'm writing this. I just can't believe it and don't know what to do.

I’ve had this floor in for about 6 months in two bedrooms and everyone compliments it! It looks great, I have made minor scratches from carelessly moving furniture but a magic eraser helped some! Installation was so easy that it made me nervouse but they are locked in place!

I chose this flooring for its price and because it matched the existing woodwork in my house. I am very pleased with the outcome, it looks very sharp! Installation was pretty simple. I did the cuts with a jigsaw, which did chip the ends a bit, but that will be covered with quarter round. I did the entire room in 1 day by myself! The only drawback I have is that if there were more than 2 joints crossing a full length piece, you have to push very hard to get it to click/lock the whole 4' length.
