Could not withstand strong winds.
I love this unit, it's very useful and installation was easy. I was however disappointed when whiles loaded with clothing, a strong wind came through and bent some of the joints and the base closest to the sleeve in the ground (pictures attached). I'm not sure how that happened, I suspect it had some stress points, but it's now practically useless. I haven't even had it for a year, money wasted.

Great Clothesline
This thing goes up in a flash! I especially like the ground sleeve that you can cement into the ground. The only complaint I have about the product is the "lid" on the ground sleeve. Poor design as it is secured with a hard piece of plastic that broke when we used it the first time. I'll figure out a way to secure it so it is not lost. Otherwise great product

Hi Zeek. Thanks for the review! These outdoor clotheslines are not only great but the install is easy as well. Having it secured in the ground makes it easy to put away during inclement weather. I appreciate the feedback on the lid. I will definitely pass this information along.

I'm overall pleased with the clothes line's performance. We previous had clothes line poles that the lines were attached to our house. We resided our house and did not want to put clothes line hooks into the new siding.

Came with broken part
I received the product in a damaged and taped up box and although I know that should not count as taking a star away there was also a broken plastic pin used to limit one of the crossbars when open.
The product seems to be sturdy and well built but why do they use small plastic pieces to hold an important part together.
I noticed in the reviews someone else had one of these broken plastic pins also so I guess I will have to take the other reviewers "fix" and do the same.

It's up and ready for laundry.
It was easy to install, and it looks good. There are a few lines we will need to tighten, but otherwise, we are very pleased.

Perfect space for back yard drying of laundry in a typical sized household. Easy to put up and take down. Little space needed for storage. Reasonably priced. We love it.

Within 1 week of using this product the string were stretching and having to be retired tighter. It is coming loose again and will need to be stretched again. It is also not terribly good to use if you are over 6ft tall
