the instructions were not clear on wiring the wall control unit. both wires were black. Instructions did not indicate which black wire to 120 and which one to the fan. It does matter. I had to switch wires to make it work. Only other complaint was the large Hubbell logos on the fan blades. Sanded them off and repainted the underside of the blades. Now very happy with the fan.

Fan looks and works great. After I installed it the fan control wasn’t passing power through it to allow it to run. I had to bypass the power switch but you can still turn it on and off with the control buttons. Happy otherwise..

Not happy with the results of air flow… Will be returning

I do not recommend this fan. After the time of putting it up and wiring everything, I am highly disappointed. It want even blow a napkin off the table. 6 speeds is a waste you can’t tell much difference in any of them.

I Bought this fan from Home Depot online. Great looking fan out of the box and assembled, goes perfect with my outdoor decor. Took me 2 hours to assemble wiring and all, on a hot Saturday morning. I get everything connected, and it wouldn't blow a gnat off your arm that's how slow it moves, at the max speed setting. You can't feel any air moving at all, and it was only 10 ft. from the floor. This fan is for showin', not for blowin', and not worth the price!!

This produces no air flow. Wouldn't recommend this purchase to anyone.

Would return to Home Depot if this fan had not already been installed. The blades do not turn very fast thus not moving air. Installed on our patio by an electrician, even he declined to take the fan-he was interested in purchasing one but was glad he found out about these issues. The look of the fan is quality however, the fan does not meet our needs. I do not recommend this product!

Awesome fan Quiet easy to use

The fan works fine. The installation instructions leave much to be desired when it gets to the wiring part. 95% of the people will have to hire an electrician, like I did. And I have done a fair amount of electrical work before. It’s not like a regular ceiling fan when it come to wiring it!

I would like to return it. So so slow. I can't believe they even have 6 settings. 6 is defiantly like a slow speed. Very disappointed

Fan does not move very much air.

Fan is made well. Moves a lot of air and is for the most part silent which is awesome! Only gripe is the fan controller battery was missing from my package and is necessary for the fan to operate. This fan requires the hubble controller to function so i hope it doesnt fail anytime soon. The fan has a DC brushless motor so it should last a long time.

The speed on this fan is very slow. Extremely slow. I do not recommend at all.

Moves air and makes a difference in the temperature of an insulated steel building. The speed is lackluster, but for the price it’s doing an ok job

I purchased 3 of these fans for a building, and encountered two issues: 1) One wall controller wears down the battery quickly and stops working 2) If left on medium to high speeds, the fans stop running after several hours. I've engaged with the manufacturer's tech support, but progress has been slow. Overall, airflow is just fine for mixing the air (as I need), but these fans don't create a breeze. If the issues are resolved, I'll be happy with these fans.

Has a loud squeak when on higher speed. Tried to balance and didn’t help

Bought two of these fans when they were on sale or priced wrong. Glad I only paid $100 per fan becuase these fans are chandilers. On setting 6 the highest setting I can barely feel the air moving. Im a contractor and have installed well over 100 different makes and models of various fans. So I have a pretty decent Idea of what 3,000-4,000 cfm’s is and this fan at best does that or less. No way it is 8400 cfms. I should have read the reviews first as that is on me just got excited and ordered them when I seen marked as $100 each. Imo not even worth $100. Oh well lesson learned to slow down and read the reviews first. Since many did state in their reviews this fan doesnt move much air and they are correct Hope this write up helps someone save time, money, and frustrations.

I recentyl purchased 3 Hubbell 72” ceiling fans and just got them installed, i had read the reviews and still took a chance. My experience with the fans is total let down, you can see the blades moving but you can not feel any air. Im not sure what the return policy is but i will be calling customer service
