Used this to strap down motorcycle to haul in the back of a pickup truck from California to Texas. Worked perfectly.

I love these - got them along with Home Depot item 887480069266 Thread Screw Eye (x4) and now ratchet up my 70lb kayak right up to the ceiling - see pic. Lifts easy, saves space and was a very easy DIY!!

they were what I needed, although they need to be lubed up out of the box as the reals were difficult to work, some spray lube helped them to work freely .

These Husky 1-1/4" ratchet tie down straps are well made, well packaged, and easy to use. The rubber covered handles are really comfortable to grab. The straps did a great job of holding down a heavy memory-foam queen sized mattress to the top of my SUV, and didn't loosen even a bit on the entire 50+ mile trip. The addition of the included storage bag was a nice bonus too! I'll also point out that they are a very good value, as compared to what's available elsewhere.

Once you get through the really frustrating packaging, the straps are great. The webbing is soft, the ratchets are huge and easy to work. I used them to keep my big frame vespa securely on my trailer.

Manufacturing defect and poor coating may lead to unsafe condition. Over time the plastic coating used on the S hooks permanently deforms under tension. Because the coating is hard the deformed ridges/ripples are sharp and may crack and cause the fabric strap to fray prematurely at that area with slight repeated movements. Ultimately the fabric could fail completely but these products are intended to be consumable so you may expect that after some time. What I'm sure you would not expect is what I show in the attached picture. The hooks are manufactured or coated by some sort of wire hanging where a wire is tack welded to the hook and then afterwards that wire is cut BUT a tiny welded piece remains attached to the hook. The coating in that area is particularly susceptible and once it wears away that wire can cut the fabric strap. Those wires are sharp as a razor because of the way they are cut. On all the S hooks I used a box cutter to remove all the black plastic coating on the section that holds the fabric strap, then used a dremel grinding bit to grind off the wire. It took me two hours to fix them. Had I known what I know now I would've bought a different brand. I have tons of Husky stuff and never had a problem. My advice to you if you buy these keep your eye on them and do not just normal checks along the strap but also where the strap is secured to the S hook.

They hold my ladders and pipe great

16' is an ideal length and 1-1/4" is an ideal width for this type of strap. We use them for all sorts of things. Highly recommend.

The straps are wider than usual and the weight rating is higher. The ratchet is larger and easy to use. The storage bag is useful and keeps everything neatly stored.

I bought 22 sets of these straps and they work great. Heavy duty hooks and you could really "bear down" on the rachets and make things tight highly recommended for tying down motorcycles

It did take me a while to figure out how to remove them from the reusable case / holder but once I did, they worked very well holding all my stuff down and in place on my trailer.

Straps come in handy for more than just tying things to a trailer. I use them in construction for temporary holding of materials. In this picture I used them to help hold the wooden planks in place while staining the wood and until the permanent metal straps could be manufactured and installed. These straps work well and have a holding strength needed for tasks like these.

Works great and at a great price will definately buy again

Used a couple of times, and they performed excellent. Easy to use. Would recommend. Not sure how long they will last though. Will update again if they fail.

Good deal for strap downs, comes 4 in a set, keep two in my vehicle.

Great set. Came with a storage bag! We normally use cam straps for our canoe, but needed longer ratchet straps for carrying two canoes on our van. Can still be careful with the pressure, while knowing they won’t loosen at all.

I used it to carry large mattresses on top of car. Convenient and Sturdy.

Great Value! Very durable and the carry bag is a plus.

These straps are great and of excellent quality. I only have 1 thing to say though, the box it came in was way better and more rugged for outdoor then the "bag." Dont understand why spend money on the carrier bag when they can make the box more suitable to store the straps in.

Have used these in every way. Never disappointed and love the ease of the release mechanism.
