Satisfied with my new tool box combo!

For the price and after only 2 weeks, I would not expect the drawer handles and trim to do this! Also, 3 of the drawer end caps were broken upon further inspection (I picked the item up from the store, but didn't notice the damage until I placed it inside my shop). I had to make adjustments to the locking tabs on the chest, otherwise the lid wouldn't close all of the way/lock with the key. Very disappointed.

After months of researching, I decided the Husky Industrial 52 inch 15-drawer tool chest was the perfect union of space, features, and price. the power strips in the top, the soft-close drawer rails, the multiple different drawer depths all come together in a great package. for this price point, I feel this is the best chest around.

Great box at a great price!

No doubt this is the best toolbox for the money. I only gave this 4 stars because the full width top drawer in the bottom box will not hold 1/2 drive sockets when they are stored in Hansen upright socket trays.

Lots of space for tools, soft-close mechnism on drawers, USB ports, good breaks. Love depth on drawers, I was able to place some tools that couldn't fit in my other tool chest. Excellent for professional use.

This was a big beast to transport home in the back of my old Durango, but I managed. "Assembly" was limited to installing the six casters on the bottom of the cabinet, the push/pull handle, and the all important bottle opener :-) . There were also some silicone feet to insert in the bottom of the chest to keep it from scraping and sliding around on top of the cabinet, as well as a slew of pre-cut padded drawer inserts to distribute among the 15 drawers. My initial evaluation is that the quality of the unit is excellent. All of the drawers open easily and close positively. Time will tell how well the unit stands up to moderately heavy use, but I am optimistic.

The chest is very nice and sturdy. My only complaint, and it's significant, is about the poor quality of the finish. Removing one of the (far too many) stickers peeled the coating right off. More importantly, the interior of the chest was poorly covered, with rust and pitting in some areas. I found this when removing the drawers to lift the chest onto the cabinet. Pictures are attached. This is unacceptable for a new product. I taped off the rails and covered the interior with a few coats of red oxide primer to prevent further damage.

Incredibly high quality and heavy duty. Impresses everyone that sees it although that's not the purpose. Drawers close so smoothly. Good amount of outlets and USB. Heavy gauge steel is perfect for magnetic. And even at 750 lbs. Empty, it's easy to move. If you can couple it with discounts or coupons even more worth the value.

Used for a month daily at work and the top lid is opening rough. Called to complain prior to customer service about the fact I have 3 keys to the toolbox and was told the locks have to be drilled out but I was free to return it to the store for a replacement. Thanks for that it only weighs several hundred pounds lol. I'll update review if lid gets worse or fails. Lastly toolbox is hard to lock even when all drawers are shut. It's true you get what you pay for.

Excellent Construction, lots of room and easy close ball bearing drawers. Great value in a tool box.

This is a pretty great product. There are a few downsides that one should be aware of, though - 1) The shiny black color of the handles, trim, etc. does NOT last. I've owned the product for 3 months, and as you see in the attached image...it (for some weird reason) gave way to a copper color. 2) The wheels in the center of the cabinet do not move, they are fixed. There might be safety reasons for it, but it makes it VERY difficult to get it into position for its final resting place in your garage or workshop. Difficult to put it up against a wall without having help. 3) You only get a handle on one-side of the cart, so pulling it around...even just to get into its final resting place is difficult. Other food for thought, it is a 2-4 person job to get the top cabinet to sit on the lower cabinet. This product is VERY heavy...so keep that in mind when you purchase, and get some friends to help.

Very durable construction. Great all around box.

Great tool chest/cabinet combo for the price. I shopped around and this was by far the best deal. Drawers slide easily, both power strips worked properly and extension leads on power strip have plenty of length in case wall sockets aren’t near by. Only had to install wheels and sit chest on top as well as place liners in drawers. Don’t think twice about it and JUST BUY IT ALREADY!

I like them alot built heavy I bought two of them in 7 mouths holds all my tools wish they made a side box for them

Better than craftsman by a huge margin I used a heat gun and the stickers came off pretty good looks great in my garage

So far, excellent! Solid, well built, heavy (almost 700 lbs) yet is easily movable with the heavy duty wheels. The soft-close drawers are a real nice touch. Many drawers of various sizes affording plenty of storage. The two outlet strips on top allow for several charging units. I have only had it two weeks but have not identified any shortcomings as of yet. My only regret is that the companion cabinet ( 46” 9 drawer- Black Out) has been discontinued and was not available for me to purchase

I Love it!!!, it is huge the best tool box I have ever had and I have had a few craftsman boxes. But this Husky is the bomb.

The tool box is great, well constructed and has tons of storage. Soft close drawers are nice. I have no issues with the box itself, my problem is with how HD handled the box. Apparently it was left out in the rain, I noticed a little spot of rust near the bottom of the vertical divide between the drawers on the top box so I did some exploring. I removed the drawers and found tons of rust in the bottom of the box. See pics. After about an hour of scrubbing I was able to remediate most of it but there is a big section under the wide drawers that cannot be cleaned. So I hosed down the entire inside of the box with LPS3 in hopes to stop the rust from spreading. Very dissapponted.

This combo set is more than I expected. I would definitely recommend this tool chest!

This thing is a beast. Great value. Night and day compared to the comparably priced 41" Craftsman at the 'other' box store (Craftsman 'used' to be known for quality. The box this is replacing is a Craftsman from the early '70's. With some cleaning and grease on the drawer glides and casters it could go on for years, but I've outgrown it). This box is heavy and solid. Drawers are smooth. Deeper drawers have 2 drawer glides for greater strength, unlike most other boxes I looked at in this general price range. I like the generous space on top with the lid and 2 power strips. Plenty of room to put all my cordless tools, along with their batteries and chargers so they are always charged up and ready. And the lid can be closed to keep dust off everything. Even keep a little bluetooth speaker plugged in there so I can listen to music when I'm working in the garage. Word of caution - make sure you have plenty of help to unload this thing! Took 4 grown men to get it out of the back of my truck. Once it's down and on the wheels, its easy to move around though. This is more than twice the size of my current box. Plenty of room to grow into.

Really Heavy but easy to install. Definitely need help lifting both pieces. Or get it delivered.but everything else was easy and the tool box it self is great. The ball bearing drawers are worth the extra amount.

Really heavy, two person job to un-crate and set it up. But it's quality, well-made, thicker steel material so not easily dented. Self-closing doors and the built-in electrical is awesome. It came (mostly) put together, just had to install the wheels and handle and put the upper box on top of the lower box. Love it so far.

Just purchased this Husky 52 inch tool cabinet. I have other tool cabinets, But this one is one to brag about. First of all, The black textured finish is what caught my eye out of all the tool cabinets in Home Depot. Starting trying out the soft close drawers, Now that’s what I’m talking about. I Love it! It’s an industrial product and made well. After having competors tool cabinets this one makes those seem light weight. I’ve already loaded it with tools and the drawers close like there’s nothing in them. Power strip on both sides of top cabinet is great! They usually come on other products with one power strip if your lucky. The precut liners fit perfectly. I’m sure I’m going to be satisfied with this unit. Merry Christmas to me!

Love this tool box but removing the feature stickers hasnt been fun i think they need to re think that part cause now i have sticker residue on my finish and not sure how to remove it without messing up the black finish
