Purchased this online and was super pleased. It was easy to install and looks great!

The towel ring is solid and beautifully finished. The satin finish matches very well with the other Alteo products. My only complaint, and it's minor, is that it's not reversible which would be nice when putting one on both sides of a vanity.

The bar is a cast part. The cast part of the bar that goes in the housing is less that 1/8th the diameter of the bar and is below the round to allow for the housings metal thickness and makes it even weaker. The bar is heavy and the cast broke off in the housing. This is a bad engineering design. The small set screw comes loose due to the weight of the bar. This is also poor. The housing will also dig in to your drywall. I have had this towel ring for 5 years.

This whole line is superb, great quality. We are using the hooks, TP holder, towel bars etc. They are all great. This towel ring is a bit big for a hand towel - in our design specifically. It is a great towel ring, it just didn't fit our space. A unique idea would be to use it for a bath towel in a small space where a bar wouldn't fit. I returned the hand towel rings for a smaller model. The Alteo line is a great bunch of bath accessories. We have had them almost 6 months and they are tight, shiny, and they look great.

Very beautiful. However, the joint halfway is not the sturdiest, so it is fine for my need (adults only), but would be worried children might break it easily. I installed it slightly sideways to give it a more contemporary look (that is not the reason why it is not sturdy).

I had the identical towel ring installed in a bathroom for several years. It worked fine until it performed a “rapid unscheduled disassembly” :-). I am glad the product is still available from Home Depot, so replacement took 5 minutes.

I'm use a towel ring that swings so your not tugging on the mount all the time which will eventually loosen from the wall and they aren't as streamline as I thought. They take up a fair amount of real estate on your wall if you have a small bath or powder room. However, the vibrant silver finish is far superior to the same finish on their faucets.

The product and design are fabulous… never a disappointment. We are in LOVE!!!

The towel ring enhances the look of our remodeled bathroom.

This is a beautiful towel ring, however I have replaced it 3 times because it broke off inside the fixture. It doesn’t get excessive pressure because I’m the only one who uses it and I’m careful. I guess I will continue to replace it every couple of years because I like the look.

It's a very nice bar but can only be position one way. No way to adjust to turn around.

These is a horrible line of bathroom accessories. Our house came with these towel rings in all of the bathrooms. The rings get loose over a short period of time and must be tightened with an allen wrench, otherwise it squeaks back and forth and then the whole ring falls off (it's not light). Some of them tighten better than others. For the others, it's like the screw can't get tight enough. The coordinating toilet paper holder and robe hooks are also horrible.
