Great shower head but bad plastic bracket that breaks
I've had the same issues the others are describing with the plastic piece that holds the shower head nearly unusable after 1.5 years. Otherwise a great shower head if you don't mind replacing this part every year.

factory glitches, poor craftsmanship, but good water flow
When we installed this, there were 3 returns in the bin. I now know why. The factory installed the air flow backwards. Now the water flows. This took awhile to figure out and was almost returned. The hose is a bit short. Once it worked, the flow of water was good. I like the finish.

Love this shower head
We've had this shower head for over 2 years. We have hard water, despite the water softener, and it does a number on faucets. Still this one is working as well as the day we bought it. Just last week the bracket broke. We went to Home Depot to try to find a replacement as the rest of the shower head is still in perfect condition, but they do not carry them. I called Kohler and they shipped a replacement piece at no charge. Kohler certainly stands behind their lifetime warranty. Our only complaint is that we wish the bracket was metal instead of plastic, but if Kohler will keep replacing it, who cares?

Definitely a great addition to our shower.
We replaced an old, two-head shower with this one. We are very glad we did. The adjustment of the spray is easy and provides a great coverage.
Installation was very easy and only took about 10 minutes...including the time I had to remove it and reinsert the washer. (The directions for which washer goes where could be clearer. But, it is an easy fix if you get it wrong...like I did. Your odds are fifty-fifty of getting it right on the first try.)

Good idea, bad execution
Went to the store to find a good quality shower head to replace old Waterpik. This seemed good and matched with others I saw on the Kohler site. Got it home and realized that critical parts were plastic. Disappointed, but still ok to install. Once in, it is impossible to get this to point down properly in the holder despite the mount and the head being adjustable. Still willing to continue, I called Kohler to see if there was a remedy. They looked up the part and started with the "this is just for Home Depot and Lowes" with accompanying indications that there is no remedy, even for buying additional parts.
This is going back to Home Depot. I am no longer using Home Depot for any quality purchases since I have experienced about a 50% return rate on items for either defects or bad design. I question what I WILL use Home Depot for in the future.

Good looks bad design
This is a nice looking handheld shower head and that’s it. I bought this unit about two years ago and never liked it. I thought it would be similar to the shower heads that are in the Holiday Inns but it’s not. The flow is not sufficient, the spread of the spray too large, the massage spray is useless, and the only setting I can’t complain about is the aerated spray. When placed in the holder, the head is too high and it’s difficult to lather while the spray is hitting you in the face. Fortunately this week, the clasp that holds the shower head broke so now I can replace it without regret.

Excellent
I loved this showerhead. It was easy to put in and take down when we moved in and out of our apartment. I liked being able to hold it.

Good BUT ...
I've enjoyed this shower head for more than two years, but, yes, the mounting bracket finally did break. We don't have especially good water pressure but this shower head delivers adequately.

overpriced, underbuilt
The mounting bracket broke within a year, just as so many others have noted. Stream is weak. Almost the most expensive hand shower in the store and probably one of the worst performers. Very disappointed.

Destroys water pressure
The other reviews mentions the bracket breaking after a few months, so I'm sort of glad I'm going to return this right now because of the water pressure problems. My current residence has probably the best water pressure of the places I've lived in, and yet after putting on this handshower it becomes a limp stream of water. So, so pathetic. Definitely not recommended.

HEADKNOCKER
I bought this because it was brushed nickel. The "massage' settings (2) are very soft and ineffective.
The long arm of this unit is very heavy and after about 6 months began to slip out of the cheap plastic holder. I am afraid to let my 6 year old use our shower and plan to find a replacement soon.

Broke but Kohler replaced the part for free
I love the shower head - hate the mounting bracket! The mounting bracket broke within 3 months of install. The showerhead is too heavy for the mounting bracket. I priced replacement brackets at $45. I'm not willing to spend $45 to replace a part on a brand new product. I emailed Kohler and they are sending me a new one at NO CHARGE. Good customer service shows when something goes wrong and how they are willing to make it right. So, buy it, but ask Kohler for a back-up mounting bracket. It really should be a warranty recall item. I love the shower head though!

Horrible product
Can't believe I spent $90 on this shower head. The previous reviewer was right. The plastic holder broke within months - I had to buy a generic one to replace it. The shower head is big and heavy - some of you will like that, some don't. What I hate most is the plastic/rubber hose which is not very flexible. You sort of have to fight it to get it to twist the way you want in order to hang the arm back to the holder. You'd think they would have put in a higher quality metal hose for the price they charge. So 1 star for me. I wish I had returned right away.

Won't last long
The bracket that holds the shower head is plastic. Mine lasted about four months. Pass on this one and save yourself $100 or so.

kohler shower head
Have bought all Kohler products for our remodels. This is the first time for a real defective item. The shower head attaches to the shower supply with a plastic hanger. Its broken twice. They do not have any metal ones in the store
