This is the little yellow washer that could. Our initial use of the Karcher K2 Plus was with it's Vario Power Spray wand and that delivered the kind of performance we expected from a small device. Capable, but the kind of performance that reminds you that you aren't using a big gas-powered unit. We then switched to the Dirtblaster wand, and whoa....the unit transformed in a Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde like way into a real beast. The performance was truly excellent, living up to its name (see video). This wand delivers a pencil stream at 1600 psi and rotates it rapidly to literally blast the dirt off the target surface. Even the cool sound of the rotating stream made a powerful statement. It worked really well on many surfaces, including vinyl fences, brick work, concrete floors, concrete driveways and sidewalks. The unit is very easy to set up, taking just a few minutes. The wheels are pretty lightweight, but with its lightweight and short profile, you won't be needing them anyways. Its light weight wands also makes it much easier to use on a tall ladder cleaning siding than the heavy metal wands on the large gas units. The wands are super easy to swap out and a gun safety is there to keep the unit from accidentally turning on during the switch. The suction hose is pretty low to the ground and is pretty short, so you really need to use a shallow container to hold the detergent or elevate the unit to maximize the amount of detergent you can use at one time before refilling. Interestingly, the unit has a small cavity under the housing that looks like it would be perfect to hold a detergent container that the hose could access, but Karcher does not appear to offer such an accessory. It does offer many other accessories, including a foamer, which works very well. The electrical safety instructions include some problematic limitations like prohibiting the use of extension cords (a common restriction for pumps) which creates a problem for homeowners with outdoor outlets that have covers that prevent the large GFI plug from plugging in at all (see picture). Furthermore, that pretty much tethers the unit to a limited radius around your closest outlets., Equally problematic is the safety instruction to use an individual branch circuit. That is extraordinarily unlikely. The electric motor design does present some excellent opportunities to use the unit indoors in basements, for example, where flood damage, etc., can be readily cleaned in areas where a gas powered unit would be unacceptable. All in all, we really like this unit. It's so easy to set up and transport to most areas around the house that pressure washing is something we now do far more often than we did with our gas powered units. We highly recommend this unit.

This little K2 Plus 1,600 PSI 1.25 GPM Electric Pressure Washer is a lot smaller than the pressure washers I'm used to. My husband put it through it's paces. He says he thought it did an extra fine job. Of the two wands, one adjustable and the other just having a swirl patterned spray, he perfers the swirl because it gives a wider spray pattern. It effectively removed dirt and soft grease off of an antique tractor he is working on. It has a generous length cable and a heavy duty reset for safety purposes. It would have been nice if the attachments were able to hang on to the washer better and the wheels are really not built to travel over the dirt and rocks of our country yard. My husband said it is a four star product. Bigger wheels and better attachment hangers would have made it five stars.

This is a great pressure washer for lighter duty and smaller chores. I do not recommend it for big jobs or for those really tough jobs. It did just fine for my jobs around the house but it is truly for "residential" use around the house. I used it to clean the green moss off the patio wall and it did fine on that-especially for the price. See the before and after pics of a section of the wall below. I've also used it to clean the underside of my truck to blast off mud (use the right wand for this and don't work it too close to "fragile" under-carriage parts like rubber boots, etc.). I think that this machine is a good value if you have smaller jobs around the house or only use a pressure washer once in awhile. This machine was very easy to assemble and very easy to use. It has a long power cord and high pressure hose which gives it a lot of reach. The nice sized wheels make it easy to move around.

Help me-- I can't stop cleaning! Got this Karcher K2 ERGO pressure washer, and it's actually been a joy to use. First off, it's lightweight, and very portable. It's about half the size of my neighbor's pressure washer, yet stills puts out the same1600 PSI of cleaning power. It only took about ten minutes to get the unit prepped and ready to run. Not having owned a power washer previously, though, I made sure to read through the directions first before using it. Karcher appears to take safety seriously, since this model even features a GFCI plug on the power cord-- nice. The K2 Plus comes with everything you need (though additional accessories are available.) There are two wands included-- a Dirtblaster rotary spray wand, perfect for cleaning driveways, sidewalks, stone; and the Vario Power Spray wand-- the adjustable one you use for cleaning your car, boat, house siding, windows, etc. I like that the K2 comes with quick-connect locking components that make connecting the garden hose and the unit's high-pressure hose both easy and leak-proof. There's even a trigger safety lock to keep the user from accidentally engaging the power sprayer before you're ready to use it. For my tests, I wanted to see just how much dirt & grime the K2 could clean off without detergent-- in a word, amazing. The side of my garage and the front of my home looked like "before & after" photos as I was spraying them. The spray provided by the Vario wand was powerful, but didn't damage the siding or windows. Super easy to use and control, and not a drop of water wasted-- the washer motors stops as soon as you let go of the trigger. Both the power cord and the high pressure hose are very long, giving you a large range of area to cover. I'd recommend you use the detergents Karcher makes, or use a mild grade of detergent, and avoid all the cleaning solutions that contain harsh chemicals-- you definitely don't need them! I highly recommend this Karcher K2 ERGO-- great price, great performance.

As I already have a power washer to clean the walkway up to my office, so the K2 plus 1,600 PSI 1.25 GPM is going to serve the trucks that get very dirty. This K2 cleaned all the trucks with surprising ease. Extremely easy to set up and the snap in connectors work flawlessly. The 35ft power cord is very handy for getting around these big trucks. I released the connections several times and once reconnected there was no sign whatsoever of any leaks or loose connections. Next I just had to try it on the work walkway. Although it worked quite well ridding the concrete of most of several weeks’ accumulation, it lacked the power to do this very effectively. I attributed this, at least in part, because of the 2,000 psi 1.76 GPM that my other one has weighing in at double the weight of this one. Having said that it is a good value for the asking price To be eligible for service or exchange, registration is done on line which gives a 2 year warranty

We used this pressure washer yesterday to clean our front walkway. The pressure washer was both powerful and strong, while being easy to use. The assembly was a total of 10 minutes out of the box. The effectiveness of cleaning the walkway was quite impressive. We used a GFCI as recommended for operation and the product worked perfectly. It is lightweight and easy to move. The wands are easy to interchange and provide both a low and high pressure option. The dirt blaster wand works perfectly. The gun has a quick connect trigger, with 20 feet of hose. The power cord is 35 feet long which is a huge asset to overall performance. The pump is supposed to be corrosion resistant, so that is a plus. This product has a 2 year rapid exchange program with the warranty, which is done online. The pressure washer is designed in Germany, but made in China.

Over priced for the items included

Purchased one of these units 2 yrs ago, used it sparingly, electric motor failed. Would avoid this product like the plague.

Bought this 2 years ago and now it doesn't work. Cheaply made.

We bought this machine 4 years ago, i used it 3-4 times, thats it. Compressor is weak. Water is coming out, machine is working, but pressure is extremely low.

Not strong enough to deep clean my sidewalk. And if you buy it I would suggest you buy a brass quick coupler the plastic one that comes with it leaks

Easy to use, easy to assemble. Works well on my patio and driveway. I would have given it 5 stars but the giant plug would not fit into my outside gfi outlet snd I had it plug it indoors. Good thing the cord is long enough.

It's a good small machine. Just what I need it.

Does a great job cleaning my tile floors, however, it runs out of power before I finish nd have to recharge it to finish the folloing day.

bought this 2 yrs ago and only used a few times. Nylon gears driving compressor broke up and are not available from karcher

I bought this item, assembled it and immediately the handle broke. I think it’s a poor design. The sprayer worked very well and did a nice job on cleaning my patio. The handle is covered under the warranty but unfortunately the handles are out of stock.

This pressure washer replaces a four-year old one of the same make and model that died while in use. The hose fittings don't appear to be as sturdy as the older version but hoping to get at least four years of usage from it, despite lesser quality construction.

I bought this to replace a 15 year old Karcher K 3.81M. (It no longer can create enough pressure due to failed pressure valves) This new one has less pressure than the old broken one. I have a Karcher T300 driveway cleaner. With the old unit, it would spin very fast. When the old unit broke, it spun slowly. With the new unit, it barley moves. This new unit can't clean my driveway. In addition, the old unit was well built. After 15 years of use several times each year, it's in good condition (except for the failed pressure valve) If I could find a replacement valve, I would fix it. The new unit is cheaply made and probably won't last. The host from the unit to the handle is very thin - it feels like a drinking straw. It kinks very easily, which stops all water. I don't know if it's this low cost, bottom end unit that is cheap and doesn't work, or the whole Karcher line. I'm shopping for a higher pressure unit and I'll see what happens with that. I'll update this review with the result.

Does the job; I like that I can lift it by the handle to move it around; bought it to replace an old 1300 psi machine and I do notice the difference in power.

Exactly what I expected in a low cost power washer. Fine product for the price.

BRAND NEW UNIT AND THE HANDLE IS VERY FLIMSY AND HAS NO ATTACHMENT HARDWARE. EVERY TIME THE TECHNICIAN ATTEMPTED TO MOVE THE UNIT THE HANDLE WOULD COME OUT. POOR DESIGN, DEFINIATELY NOT COMMERCIAL QUALITY.

I bought this a few years ago and have used it about 20 times. Always does a band up job. The last time I used it, I accidentally dropped it into the pool. (it was turned off at the time) I though it was a goner for sure. I took it apart and dried it out, put it back together and it worked like nothing happened. I am very impressed.

I’ve use the machine twice now and I’m very pleased with it. The adjustable nozzle doesn’t seem all that powerful, but the one with the rotating head works great. My only issue is that I find it difficult to disconnect the high-pressure hose from the machine – it’s very tricky. Overall I like the machine very much.

It really delivers a strong water stream for proper cleaning.

Parts missing. Karcher did nothing for me. Never again. Don't waste your money. Wasted my money.
