I purchased the 60/40 retro fit farmhouse sink. Like the sink, hate the short divider. I can only have a few inches of water in the bottom. The short divider is supposed to help to allow washing bigger items, however, how can I wash bigger items with such a small amount of water?

The Karran QAR760BL is perfect for a more standard sized sink. No need to cutdown on the sink cabinet I had. Usually with a non-retrofit sink you have to cut down your standard door height. With this retrofit I didn't have to change my doors. Take out the fake drawer face and drop in the sink. I did have to put some scribe finish pieces at the bottom as my drawer face was about an inch larger around the front sink face. The rest of the cabinet and drawers stayed the same. This one has the extra parts (BL model) with stainless bottom grids. We love this one and they offer a few other retro fit models with different inner sink sizes. Very happy. Sorry about the messy look images, we just got it in. I wanted to show the scribe finish pieces I needed. These may not be needed for your install, but this is how will filled empty space.

Looks great and lightweight too. I would recommend the Karan, you can't beat the quality for the price.

The wife is very happy with this product! Had to have the cabinet rebuilt to support it properly but it was well worth it!

I wonder where this sink has been all my life everytime I use it!!!

The directions for the strainer for the garbage disposal were not good (did not say to remove the rubber baffle that comes with the disposal. The strainer is difficult to get the scraps down the drain and the tech support was less than great. The sink itself is very nice

Love my farmhouse sink, has given my kitchen a different look. Double offset bowl helps keep items separately especially when needed.

I did a lot of research looking for a sink with different size compartments. I was pleased to find Karran had one in a black farm sink. I installed it with new black countertops and it looks great. The smaller basin is my preferred one for washing dishes. It does get dull after time, but the gloss comes back with the supplied oil treatment.

I bought this sink about 1 year ago and love it......I had(retired) a home construction co. for 30 years and have used many different types of sinks and this one is at the top of my list. Great product.

I think the color is off but I do love the sink. I may return it though because it doesn't match. Sadly.

I love this sink. It is beautiful !!! But you do have to take care of it with the oil. I love it !!!

Coming from stainless steel, it is more work to keep it clean, but I expected that.

Great looking sink, love the concrete color too. Wish they would include strainers for the cost though (that is why average value rating). My disposal strainer, that I bought, did not fit due to having a different type of disposal mount. I am going to check with my disposal company to see if they have a retrofit or I may purchase a new one to get the aesthetics I am looking for. Install was tough because my existing drain if high in the wall due to shallow sink the builder used, so drainage is slow. The install was tough for a first-timer - take your time and be sure to keep the size of the cutout for the sides of the apron just shy of 34" so you can sand them for a perfect fit with no gaps at the sides.

Beware of 5 star reviews. Along with my sink I received an insert from Karran offering a 10.00 give card if I gave Karran a 5 star review. The retrofit model is a good design with may allow installation without major modification to an older cabinet. However, the sink is of average quality with thin sides. When the installer tried to adjust by pushing on the front apron it cracked under minimal pressure.

Awesome sink! Only negative is that it doesn't come with the strainers, for the price they should be included. Other than this - like i said AWESOME!!

Beautiful sink with a really nice finish, has a super feel to touch. Drain hole and edges are cut very clean making installation easier. Radius all around is really nice and very consistent. The low divider in this model is great, you can get a large pan/baking sheet deep into the sink. The sink was made for a 36" cabinet base; ours was 39" - all it took was the fabrication of some filler pieces in the cabinet's false drawer opening to make it work. Karran customer service was very helpful. Hint for installation: If your counter top is being mounted directly to the top of the cabinet frame (quartz or stone), measure the sink's flange height and make sure the side supports are installed so the the flange does not protrude above the top of the cabinet frame when installed. You can easily check this with a level.
