I used Krud Cutter Adhesive Remover on my painted garage floor to remove the residue of carpet glue. I sprayed it on and let it do its work. Then I scraped it with a wide putty knife on the end of a long handle. It worked very well! I mopped the floor afterwards and voila! Clean floor!

I was trying to remove outdoor carpet adhesive, I poured the whole gallon on it, and it didn’t loosen it up at all, it didn’t seem to work Whatsoever

I bought this product because it had decent reviews, but for my job it just made things worse. I removed carpet that was very old, maybe 40--50 years. Adhesive was rockhard but not sticky. The plan was to put epoxy over top of it and, per the recommendation of Rustoleum who makes the epoxy, carpet glue can show through the paint rather dramatically, so I wanted to make sure I remove the glue instead of just painting over top of it. I ordered the product and used it as directed and it seems to remove a little bit off the top but that was all and once it was done it was just a sticky mess and 24 hours later the stickiness has not gotten any better. I tried again with two or three additional applications of the product and still only a tiny bit of it come up. This product may be good for some Jobs, but on my job with 40 year old adhesive it made things worse. If I could do it all over again I would just have coated the dry adhesive with floor paint and epoxy on top and be done. Now I can’t even do that because the adhesive is in a half-dissolved state. Going to go buy a floor steamer and pray that works.

The longer you can leave it on the better. It did not get all the glue up but it did get some of it up. NOt as good as I would of thought but if you have light glue it should work fine.

Used to try to remove adhesive from cement under indoor/outdoor carpet. I know there are stronger products out there but I do what I can with this product because it is non-toxic. That's important to me.

It did not work at all for my problem.

The adhesive remover was not strong enough to breakdown the material on the floor, needed to rent a mechanical floor machine to breakdown and remove the adhesive.

This product would not remove carpet glue from strand board sub flooring.

I live in an 85 yr. old craftsman and had removed 2 layers of old lineoleum, a layer of plywood and a layer of fiber board, all with a final layer of paper backing glued to the original hardwood. Krud Kutter removed the paper and glue so I'm back to hardwood floors. So pleased!

Used this product as directed and it did absolutely nothing to the carpet adhesive. Did not soften it, loosen it or remove it. Might as well of been putting water on the carpet adhesive.

This product did not remove the glue that held carpet mat to concrete floor.

Took up all the adhesive from concrete and aggregate! Great product!

Product didn't work as advertised

Great product. Followed the directions and the product exceeded my expectations. 75 year old mastic was removed with minimal effort.

Wasn't worth the wait time or money. I had a fair amount of adhesive and the gallon did about half the area it was suppose to cover. Although it didn't have a strong odor and doesn't evaporate it left a residue that was sticky and hard to mop up. I finished the task using acetone because it was easier to find at stores to buy.

Didn't work at all. Really would like my money back

purchased this to remove Mastic adhesive from cement floor. Applied as directed several times. it removed very little. It is absolutely useless for the application to a room. Waste of money.

Removed 7 layers of flooring in my kitchen. Found hardwood underneath it all!! Got down to the black mastic and tried many things to get it off including a heat gun and a Dremel. It will take some off using a wire brush but nothing worked as well as good old household vinegar. I probably spent well over $100.00 on different chemicals. Save your money if you are trying to take off the black mastic. Vinegar is cheap.

Was looking for something to remove linoleum glue from kitchen floor. My wife saw this on the shelf and said lets try this! At first I said no, looking for something a little more powerful, but gave into her. WOW, I am so glad I listened to her, this stuff took the adhesive off the wood floor with little or no effort. Followed the directions and left it sit for 15-30 minutes and it made the adhesive roll off the scraper. Men, sometimes it might pay to listen to the wife!!!!

Purchased this product to remove the adhesive after removing decals from my RV. Did not even begin to touch the adhesive even using more than they claimed to use. Just as if I was using water. Would not recommend!

HUBBY USED 2 FACE TAPE TO MAKE SCATTER RUGS ON BERBER CARPET STAY IN PLACE. WARM WEATHER MELTED TAPE AND IT WAS STUCK ON THE BERBER. I SPRAYED KRUD KUTTER ADHESIVE REMOVER ON MELTED TAPE, RUBBED IT WITH RAGS AND IT REMOVED THE MELTED TAPE.
