When our LG microwave Model # LMVH1711ST was delivered by Ralph's Transfer trucking, the delivery people installed it - improperly! (The frame around the door was pulled away from the main body by 1/4 inch at top on right side, the top flange was bent during install, the microwave was not in properly on the left side and only ONE bolt was screwed in to hold it in place (should be two - one on both sides - L/R), our new LG stove was noticeably scratched on the stove controls, and the oven light that used to come on/off when oven door opens is not working (worked before microwave was installed). Home Depot refused to replace the microwave (backordered until May, 2019) and will only have a repair company come to assess and repair (if possible) the faulty microwave install and the damage to our stove. Also, one of our cabinets was also gouged during microwave install!!! BAD, BAD BUSINESS BY HOME DEPOT!!

We love it. We have used the convection baking and it works wonderful. I would fully recommend this microwave.

We have only had our new LG Convention Microwave oven for a short time but are already impressed with the construction and material quality. I would have rated this appliance 5 stars but I needed the operator's manual at hand to heat a cup of coffee. I am a simple woman who is apparently less experienced with this level of oven than most! I did eventually learn how to reheat liquids. Thank you!

The front glass too dark to see inside. Wish this had quick cook time buttons, too many bottles to select for a minute cook time.. Convection is ok, not great..

It does require some changes when baking- works best to use convection with thin pans and circular so pan can move evenly through heat. The microwave popcorn button is so amazing- no programming necessary it just senses and cooks! Also very quiet.

The microwave was delivered 4 weeks ago and saw very limited usage. It quit today. It was still under warranty with LG. But LG does not have a technician to repair the microwave for 7 days. Avoid this microwave and LG products.

Overall 7 on a scale of 10 with regard to the convention side. 9 of 10 on the microwave side. Don't really care for the notification that plays when time ends. It's a little annoying. It however is a good looking unit.

The microwave sensor makes sure that food is cooked for the right amount of time--not overdone, not undercooked. I tried using the convection feature, which I'd never had before, and was delighted that everything I cooked came out just right. The only thing to remember is that, because the oven isn't preheated, use the longest cooking time shown on the package or recipe rather than the shortest.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I needed a new microwave, and we bought this for it's added bonus of "convection" cooking. We've used it's "convection" cooking twice, and the results were wonderful. Convection cooking meat gives it a different flavor and texture. That being said, we've already had a problem with it. While using it's convection setting, it stopped in the middle of it and gave us an error code of F-5. The repairman will be out today to fix it under warranty. So, assuming that it gets repaired and cooks consistently, I can give this microwave a thumbs up. But the verdict is still out.

The product came well packaged and had great installation instructions. We have used it several times and are very happy with the performance.

This microwave looks and works great. I like the convection preheat cycle, it is quicker than my old convection oven was. I had a probe type internal temperature cycle on my old machine, so I haven't figured out how the sensor cooking works yet. But I haven't had the machine for very long and it will take me some time to figure out the best cycles. But I really like the way it looks in my kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this as a replacement for a plain micro that was in our RV. Could not stand only having a micro, In my home we have Conv/micro and haunted my husband until he gave in and found this one for me as a surprise. I LOVE it. Use it everyday.

Not as easy to use as my last one.... I write a review and then you tell me it is to short. When someone does some thing for you be grateful. I absolutely will never recommend you now. Is that long enough !!!!

Microwave is OK. Delivery and installation was a different story...

I have only had this microware for a week. But so far it is great. I love that the vent has 5-settings and it seems to work great. I had an older LG microwave and it worked but this one seems to be designed better. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

After less than 6 months of use (I was out of town for the month of December and half of April), it quit working in the middle of heating a small dish of mashed potatoes. I haven't even had a chance to use the convection function. I will now have to request repair for not only the microwave but the fan on my new range convection oven has also stopped working.

Very disappointed in LG. I liked this LG microwave/convection oven; however, from the beginning there was a problem with the door not closing properly. LG sent repair technicians out 8 times to fix it, but it was never fixed. I had to stand and hold the door closed sometimes to get it to operate. The topper was when one technician blamed me for not closing the door properly. Excuse me? It was clear LG was not going to remedy my problem. My husband wrote a letter to Home Depot outlning our 5-Month saga and disappointment with a brand new microwave that does not always function. Home Depot immediately contacted us and worked with us to exchange the LG for a KitchenAid microwave/convection that I am very happy with. It was delivered and installed at no cost to us. The KitchenAid even has a Soften/Melt button for butter! Contrary to comments, the KitchenAid does have a clock. We cannot say enough about Home Depot and how they stood behind their products. Hat tip to Home Depot for doing the right thing. By the way, no problems with our new GE refrigerator and oven, and KitchenAid dishwasher - all from Home Depot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The control panel is black. The words that describe the functions are not an adequate contrast to black. It may take three attempts to locate the secret spot behind the words to get response. And no, believe it or not, there is no back lighting! To bad the control panel engineers had no experience working with this oven in a real kitchen.

Worst purchase ever. I have had the microwave for a month and LG service has been to my house 3 times to replace door and door latch. To this day, it is not functioning correctly and have another scheduled visit from the LG service guy again. Product looks great but again not functioning correctly. Door closes and you hit start and it starts counting down and light is on inside, but not heating food at all. give the door a little push and it will start heating. Now I need to put constant pressure on the door just to make it work. As for Home Depot, I spoke to the manager and he said basically said that I am screwed and will have to buy another microwave. Thanks for the support!!
