Sleek and roomy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator is so roomy inside. The meat and cheese drawer can hold so much. Not to mention that the door shelves can hold all my condiments plus 36 cans of soda! The stainless steel exterior cleans up wonderfully with a cloth and a spritz of mineral spirits.

    Freezer shelf broke one hour after installation
    Our freezer shelf broke after one hour of installation by a professional. We called within the hour and lg sent a replacement piece which arrived today. Well it’s the wrong shelf! I was on hold 15 minutes and then told I needed to speak to a different agent. Transferred and disconnected! With four young kids at home we don’t have time to sit on hold and need a fully useable unit! This is obviously not the correct part for any piece of our fridge.

      [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love my new fridge except for there's not enough light in the bottom section. I thought when I first opened it, it was super bright. Now, the top shelf has basically no light at all. I don't know if there's a light out or this is the way it's designed. I love the smart doors, even though there are times I wish they wouldn't close on their own.

        What I needed
        [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like the refrigerator does what I need it to do. Didn't need one with all the bells and whistles just needed one for 2 people. This one is perfect and I love the space and features. The Black Stainless is great just wipe it off with a damp cloth.

          IT'S THE LITTLE THINGS
          [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this fridge for 2 years now. Things I like are the big shelf on the fridge door that holds all the gallon jugs and soda bottles, the large cold cuts/cheese drawer is awesome and the light in the freezer is super helpfull. Things I don't like; the butter compartment isn't big enough. The freezer door does not shut on its own whereas the fridge door does. If you put large bottles on the lower fridge door shelf, like ketchup and BBQ sauce, sometimes they keep the door from closing all the way. It really needs a door alarm due to all the ways the door could open accidentally or not close properly. The fridge is so big, there isn't enough light sources inside to light up the back of the fridge when it's full of stuff. If you close the fridge door a bit hard, the freezer door opens. I have all the piping and connectors to hook up the ice maker, but I just haven't done it yet.

              [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't believe people say the lighting is good. Maybe mine was missing some lights. It had two LED strips at the front side edges of the fridge compartment. Looked great in the store, but at home with food inside (not even very much food) the light was blocked and the shelves were dark. I even tried using battery-operated motion-sensor lights, but they didn't work in the cold. I also sometimes had a problem with the freezer door popping open when the fridge door was closed; one night I didn't notice it and the freezer door was ajar a half-inch in the morning with frost on the bottom edge. Despite that, I tried to get used to it because I like the sleek, easy-clean exterior, the quiet operation and the spacious layout. But the lighting was a deal-breaker for me. I returned it after 30 days to Lowe's.

                  Early review of this refrigerator indicates that it is working fine and doing what is advertised. We bought it because it was highly rated by CR. Very quiet machine, looks good and so far we are very pleased. Lighting inside could be better both in freezer and main compartment but not bad. Egg compartment on door will not hold a dozen egg Styrofoam container from the grocery store (what was the engineer thinking here)?? Otherwise happy so far (one week), tickle me in a year on this one.

                        great capacity, reliable fridge

Door shelves are great, can hold large bottles. Shelves are adjustable. We have not had a single issue with it. We're very happy with it.

                          I purchased this refrigerator in December 2018, and so far absolutely no issues. I didn't want a side by side refrigerator again. This refrigerator has ample freezer space, and can see everything in the refrigerator with the glass shelves. No shortage on space in this refrigerator. I am happy with this LG refrigerator absolutely.

                                I will never buy an LG appliance again! I have had this refrigerator for 3 yrs now and have already had to replace the door gasket and every single one of the shelves multiple times. I have not been happy with this refrigerator at all as it has not held up with just normal every day use.

                                                Fridge works great but plastic interior not holding up and replacement parts are outrageous! My door pieces are duct tape together and the so are the produce bins. Too bad. I loved my fridge the first year or so . Now I find myself looking for a new one since the replacement parts are so expensive!

                                                      Motor never an issue. Inside has cost me. 4 door bins replaced every shelf trim has cracked and had to be replaced.

                                                        When the refrigerator came through the door it was dented in several places I was offered 100.00 refund. I said come get it and bring new I was told this could not happen. The refrigerator did not last a year and a half. It broke around thanksgiving food spoiled and when contacting you I was told I needed proof of purchase. I contacted the store where purchased and was told a receipt could not be printed. So here I am still stuck with a non working refrigerator. I
