[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this for over 3 years now. It does a great job cleaning and runs very quietly, so even though we can set a delay start for the middle of the night, I don't mind running it during the day either. It has been difficult to get it to be perfectly level and that seems to affect its ability to properly start. Sometimes we have to open and close the doors several times before it will properly set. Also, I would have gone with the controls hidden on the top of the door, if I knew how easy it is to accidentally lean on the machine and have it chime and power on. Racks had several rust issues, but they have a 5 year warranty and LG was quick to replace them at no cost. Very happy about that.

We purchased this dishwasher about 2 months ago. Overall, it cleans well, although will leave the dishes wet. This is especially true if you don't use the Extra Dry feature. We got the Black Stainless Steel color, and this is where I have the biggest issue. As you can see in the image, the Stainless steel is no match for my cat, who has managed to badly scratch the front (see image). It appears (not sure) that the black coloring is actually a film placed over regular stainless steel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this new dishwasher a few weeks ago to replace my old one. My old dishwasher was very loud and really on its last leg. I began looking at a variety of different machines but I kept coming back to LG because of the design features and product reputation. For example, the machine is just beautiful and really is a showpiece in my kitchen. The WiFi features are very innovative in that I now get smart notifications through the Thinkq app. I literally know when to add drying agent before a new cycle and I get helpful tip notifications that will extend the life of the machine. I also have the ability to download different cycles to the machine if special dishwashing requirements are needed. I installed the dishwasher myself which was a fast task to complete. The dishwasher has an easy to reach water connection in front and a drain hose long enough to connect the piping under the sink. The inside tub has leveling screws to make sure water levels fill appropriately during each cycle. Overall, I am proud to have LG as part of my family and would certainly recommend to anyone looking for quality appliances for their home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dishwasher several weeks ago because my old dishwasher did not seem to be cleaning the dishes well! That is not the case with my LG! It cleans and sanitizes beautifully using the same water from my house that we used before. In fact, nothing is different except this quality LG dishwasher doing it’s job. It is also extremely quiet. We run it oftentimes while watching TV and it does not disturb us at all! This is a great product.

I purchased my dishwasher, and it was delivered January 2020. I t has been the best cleaning machine I have ever used. The problems that I have since it does not vent out of the front of the dishwasher, the dishes stay wet. After it run it cycle, I need to prop it open so the dishes will dry. People that come into my kitchen are surprised that the dishwasher is running as they said it so quite that they didn't hear it. Best purchase ever. I also at the same time purchased the French door refrigerator, washer & dryer during Black Friday. They all work great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately, the dishwasher on works great if you completely hand wash the dishes before loading. We primary use ours to sanitize only. We have had a few dishwashers over the years and this is by far the most disappointing one we have had.

Cleans well. Easy to keep clean. No need to rinse.

I WAS VERY LEARY PURCHASING AN LG BRAND APPLIANCE! NO REAL REASO. THIS DISHWASHER HAS A TURBO CYCLE THAT CLEANS EVEN THE DIRTIEST DISHES IN 1 HOUR!! AND EVERYTHING IS CLEAN!!

THe motor burned out shortly after it was out of warranty. not good at all

I got this as a Christmas gift in 2022, and I am still trying to understand why my friend thought that this was better than my 15-Year Old Frigidaire dishwasher :-(. I am still trying to find out. In the meantime, how do I get this thing to produce DISHES THAT ARE DRY at the end of the cycle?

I purchase a bundle, refrigerator ,stove,dishwasher , microwave , I only needed the refrigerator , but I like my appliances to match! I also have my dryer with steam! Very happy with everything

We have only had it over 2 years and the circulation pump went out. Perfect timing. We won’t buy and LG again.

Thought it was nice until noises began not not working at all not happy

We bought this in November 2019. It’s been fine for 2 years, but this year it started dropping down, makes an extremely loud noise. You can’t run it at night because it’s loud. Can’t run it when everyone is home because you can’t hear each other. It’s awful. I don’t know what to do except live with it. I cannot afford to replace it.

We have had this dishwasher since 2020. It started showing AE error code about 3 months ago. It has done this 3 times. I will say when it works it is a fine dish washer. The problem is getting service and support on a timely basis.

Purchased this dishwasher along with LG fridge, oven and microwave as a set back on early 2020. Haven had a complaint on any of the products thus far other than the dishwasher, where the outer part of the door up by the handle began cracking and the top rack silverware sprayer stopped working. LG customer service has been great, and we are currently in the process for locating a servicer to come out and make the repairs.

I just had this installed. It does not sit flush with the cabinets, it sticks out about 2 inches. It is also very loud. Please advise.

Broken lasted 3 years. And there are no “authorized repair shops” in North Seattle to fix it. Cleaning was below average compared to others I owned. Bottom rack inefficient layout for plates and bowls, never could get it full with all the configurations I tried. Online function sometimes worked but it’s not capable of giving diagnostic info (like what is broken?)

Apparently there was a loose connection in the door starter mechanism that was an easy fix. Thanks for your professional service department.

We’ve been very pleased with the quality and dependability of each. However, we recently had a minor issue with the dishwasher. Fortunately we added a 5 year extended warranty at the time of purchase. The issue was resolved quickly and at no cost to us.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had this dishwasher for about 3.5 years. We like the way it cleans dishes, pots and pans, etc. We also like the top knife rack. One drawback is that both racks developed rust through areas in a few areas. However, LG covered these under the five year warranty. Altogether, we’re pleased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I would say as far as wifi connected dishwashers go, this is probably half way there. I can't lets say put a tablet in it and start it from my phone, but I can know when it's done by a nifty notification and download extra cycles. Soon we'll be fully integrated. Where I took off a star is the quality of materials, we've already replaced the basket due to corrosion and the front panel cracked because of weak matreials.

In late 2020 I purchased 3 LG products. A dishwasher, a microwave and a stove. The microwave caught on fire within 1 month of use. LG replaced it. Now 1 year and 2 months later the diswasher has developed a leak. No help from LG. Beware !
