I ordered and paid for 3 rolls last October, opened to lay and had one.

I think the product has a good quality look to it, it was easy to custom size it. On the down side, I was disappointed with the fact the color doesn’t look even once it’s laid down. The pieces came from same roll, but they look different. We just got it installed, too, so hopefully the pieces wear off evenly with time.

Purchased this in store being told it is the pet proof tech turf but it is not. This turf is not as described and must be a different product than they thought it was. The back does not allow drainage like advertised.

Love the Lifeproof flooring. Very durable and beautiful! I wish the floors in my whole house was like this.

The product seems to be good. I've only been using it for a week as I'm writing this review. My dog doesn't have any issues doing his business on the pet turf. The real test is going to be overtime in the hot Arizona sun.

This astroturf immediately melted. Like, the next day. I'm just sick to my stomach over it. This was a gigantic waste of money, and now the product is destroyed before our first ever payment leaves the bank. We live in SoCal, which gets hot, but this was not the hot part of summer, so I'm just super excited to watch more of our investment melt away when the desert summer temps reach 115+.

I ordered 12’ x 28’ twice.First order was 8 1/4 inches short! Second order to 12’’ short. My Home Depot store is awesome and it’s employees! homedepot.com employees are unable to help. This product must have a major shrinkage problem! After they cut this grass it shrinks at least 12’ or more. I would recommend to order 4 feet more than you think. It will shrink before it gets to you! Very confused on how much it cost and how much it shrinks! Home Depot is using vendors now their hands are tied

Been 5 months. Dog obliterated it yesterday for the second time this week. I had no seems at install....now I have several. At this point it seems this product will not work for my dog. Was a big investment for a huge failure. I will have to look at the fine print for warranty.

My wife and I just installed 2 rolls of the artificial turf in our front yard. The installation was straighforward and all it took was a utility knife to cut through the backing. We used Trafficmaster 5" x 1.2" turf staples which worked nicely. After installation, we infilled silica sand and swept it in. We then spread a 25 lb. tub of green Trafficmaster Envirofill and lightly spread it on top of the sand. It did a nice job of disguising the seams and staple holes, as well as covering the tan color of the sand. NOTE: In the photo, I've not yet finished the edge of the turf where it meets our dry creekbed.

I got this mat to use for hitting golf balls. I like the fact that it's huge. I can stand on it and have me and the ball on the mat together. I have a much smaller mat, sized for just a ball and it's hard to use. This larger mat is much better. My son and I can both stand on it and hit balls together, and we are both standing on the mat. I take it with me when I go places and I hit practice / wiffle balls on it. It's a great way to practice chipping. It rolls up easy and travels well. It has not frayed or starting looking worn yet either, even after getting irons dragged across it - a lot.

I received this about three weeks ago and I wasn't sure how my pet would react to it or if I could use it more for artificial grass in the play area for my kids. The turf itself was easy to open and didn't struggle much to lay it out. It says that its easy for clean up if the pet uses the pee but haven't had to do it just yet. I tried putting it near the backyard and so far its been great. The kids love it bc its soft and so does my dog.

I initially wasn't even sure how my pet would respond to it as she can be unfriendly with any type of comfort rug or mat. The packaging was slightly heavy so thats something when you're trying to move it around. The turf itself is to my surprise really soft and I wouldn't hesitate having my pet playing on it. Claims that you can clean it easily if they go pee or poo but I haven't had to do that. I like the size given for the area of my house.

This artificial grass carpet looks and feels amazing. It comes rolled up just like a regular carpet and is easy to set up. It is nicely packaged. I placed mine on our wood deck and it looks and feels like real grass. The texture is smooth and soft, very realistic. It is antimicrobial, and fade resistant. It has good drainage to avoid puddling, and enables quick drying. Love it.

We got this for our boat. We don’t have a dog but many friends do and they want to bring them along. Amazing how thick this grass is! It’s not like the stuff I remember from years ago. You can see by the ruler it is nearly an inch thick! It also is soft to walk on and does a great job of mimicking real grass in it softness. The backing is shown in the pictures too, its more porous than I expected. I poured a glass of water on the grass and about 50% came right through. So I will still need to wash the boat down after a few uses but it will keep the messes concentrated in one spot. We are happy such a thing was available!

This Lifeproof faux grass carpet is not only for pets and it looks great on my deck! I like the drainage holes on the bottom to keep moisture from building up on the surface. The 1" green fibers have some brown mixed in to resemble genuine grass. The only thing that I was disappointed in was that it was not cut straight and needs to be squared properly to look well against a wall. It has been on the porch for over a week, but the curled edge has not flattened out yet. The polyethylene fibers are not too stiff and it is comfortable walking on it with bare feet. I like that this carpet has a 15-year warranty. This artificial grass carpet was shipped in a plastic bag.

This is a Beautiful Product ... it is extremely well designed and constructed as well and finished. It will go down easily (you'll really want to make a flat, graded platform for it) and stay where you put it. It does look like grass, but it's more course ... not so rough to be troublesome for bare feet, but it's not soft like bent grass, either. It truly is green outdoor carpet.

I chose this Lifeproof artificial grass for my pets but decided I didn’t want the occasional stray animal to come into my unfenced backyard and use it. When it arrived it was much nicer than I was expecting so I thought maybe I’d make doormats for my back doors. Well it also turns out the size is a lot larger than I was expecting so I decided to make a patio rug! Very easy to handle, super soft and has drain holes throughout the bottom. Easy to cut too. Artificial artificial grass is very versatile. You can use it indoors or you can use it to cover your outdoor balcony. You can use it for all sorts of decorative purposes and as you can see you can also use it as a rug on your patio. I love that it’s stain and odor resistant and does not attract ants, fleas or ticks. You also cannot beat the 15 year warranty. Looks great too!

Our backyard is mostly mulch and I needed something to stop the trek of mulch into the house from the pool and this does the job nicely. It does tend to get a bit hot if in direct sunlight for a long time. It is very comfortable to walk on, the artificial grass feels lush and it quite soft. It looks like it will be easy to hose off when needed and just provides a nice piece of greenery to the area.

I ordered this turf, not for a lawn or for a pet. I have an outdoor deck outside my dining room and I've already covered most of it with turf. The only thing not covered were the stairs leading up. So with this order, I covered the stairs. It was easy to cut with an exacto knife. I used an air compressor and a staple gun to staple it to the to the wooden stairs. I think it looks great. The turf is very realistic looking.

I chose to review Lifeproof Premium Pet Turf for many reasons. Our porch has a dog door which allows our dog to come and go throughout the day. Our dog is (5) years old and house broken. This product will help keep her feet clean, soft under foot, comfortable to sunbath on, attractive and has drain holes for rain that may come in. The size and weight is impressive, high quality construction and backing. It is a 3.75 ft. x 9 ft. heavy artificial grass carpet that is easy to walk on, easy to clean and folds neatly for storage. Great product for many uses, porch, lake property, pool area, kennel, uses are endless. I would highly recommend!

Lifeproof has been making pet proof carpet for a few years. I figure they should know what they are doing by now. I ordered this, exclusive to Home Depot turf, for its claimed 'ultra-flo backing'. I am hoping it drains/dries fast enough, that it will not seriously damage my Mahogany porch; where I plan to put in (I expect some discoloration; which I can hopeful power wash out). Also, hoping it does not shed too much. The thing is, when my dog goes out (or in), it is very exciting for him (go figure?). He speeds through the door. The Mahogany porch, when dry, is very slipper for him. So, he extends his claws, turning them into mini ice skates (making the slipping worse). With the steps being so close to the door, I am afraid he may hurt himself (which would dampen his future excitement). In the hopes of keeping my dog happy, I have tried a few different coverings (e.g. dog pad, foam flooring [see pic]). Problems with these, I have to bring them in when it rains (or forget and deal with them being soaking wet) and try to put them back out, before he goes out. When it arrived, I dumped out the contents of the box in one spot. If it was going to shed, shipping should have knocked out anything loose. As you can see by the pic, very few clippings. After unrolling it, there were a few more clippings, and some black strands of webbing, I had to cut off, but overall, much less than I expected. Walking on it, with bare feet, it is very soft. Unlike some turf, which sticks straight up and can be like walking on needles, this the grass lays flat. You can brush it up, if you want it 'taller'. So far, it is working great!!!

I bought this large piece of grass carpet for our balcony. At this point we don't have a dog, but I really like the look and feel of this as an outdoor "rug" so to speak. It has holes in the bottom layer so it should be easy to rinse off or drain water if needed. I really like the fact that there are smaller brown "blades of grass" weaved in underneath to give a more natural look. I haven't had it that long, but so far it looks fresh and durable.

Very impressed with the look and feel of this carpet. I had a smaller version of this and was so happy with it, that we decided the larger one would be perfect for outside. It has the look of real grass. The dogs love it. We cannot grow grass in one area and this is perfect for that spot. It looks like it belongs and there is no maintenance. Great for small yards and small pets.

I decided to give my old brick patio a new look with this LifeProof Premium Pet Turf Artificial Grass Carpet. I placed it under my outdoor dining set and it looks and feels great. The 100% polyethylene fiber pile is thick (1 inch) and soft. I like the fact it is pet safe and the woven underside thatch fibers allows rain water to drain quickly. When cleaning is necessary, I just spray it with the garden hose without having to move it and the water drains away. This product could also be used on decks and balconies.

Will return it as I need what I bought to finish my job with quality. The product looks good.

We purchase more than $5000 in turf and waited for the delivery on time. We decided to go with Home Depot because they are suppose to be TRUSTWORTHY. Long story short, we waited 2 weeks, home depot told us several times that the order was "on its way" and then after the order was "late", they told us they have to "cancel" the order. The vendor (Playfield) NEVER tried to call us or reach out to us. They NEVER sent us any messages. They LIED several times to Home Depot and provided no proof.
