Could you tell us about the type of feel you were hoping for? Toppers are designed to soften the feel of a too-firm mattress and thicker toppers will provide a plusher feel and deeper sink.
Based on your description, it sounds like this topper is too soft for you. If you are still wanting a softer bed, then our thinner 3-inch or 2-inch toppers should work better. However, if you are looking for a firmer or more supportive feel, then only a new and firmer mattress will achieve this.

Adds just the right amount of comfort
After graveyard my husband sleeps in the spare room and was complaining about the bed being a little hard. This mattress topper was exactly what he needed to get some good sleep after a long night of work.

Very comfortable and affordable!
My daughter's twin bed is uncomfortable at times and needed an extra layer of cushion for her firm mattress. This topper is an affordable solution, and I am so pleased with this purchase! The 2" foam topper is not thick enough to cause problems with sheets not fitting or staying in place, yet it is just enough cushion to turn my daughter's mattress from firm to soft. She has slept so much better in her bed, and has not complained once of pain or stiffness. We also live in a hot climate and her bed seems to be much cooler as well, which also makes for a better nights sleep. All in all, this topper was well worth the money spent and I only wish I had purchased it sooner.

If you are a side or stomach sleeper this is not for you. When laying down the Heaviest part of my body with sink in, and my upper body with stay above the mattress so I would wake up with a really bad lower back pain because I feel like my body is in capable of bending that way. This is very soft topper.

have been using this memory foam topper for about a month now. It replaced the topper we used for over 12 yrs. Since the change in topper I am now waking up in the morning free of pain in my back that took and hour or so to work out. Very pleased with this product.

When our topper arrived I thought they sent the wrong...
When our topper arrived I thought they sent the wrong but did see the box said King. We have a Sealy mattress and box springs. The mattress developed dips on each and what we called the mountain in the center. When he topper arrived I cut off the four inch foam fm the mattress and replaced it with the thrss inch new. it works fine and is covered with mattress pad. Saved us the cost of a new mattress.
