It is not 1 1/2” only the edge, the photo online does not show or demonstrate that!
I returned it immediately, very disappointed,

Mostly we love these cabinets. My biggest complaint is the lack of extra screws. When they were dropped we sometimes had to search with a magnet! Keep your stale tootsie rolls and add a couple extra screws!

Reasonable quality for plywood cabinets at good value price
These cabinets are great value and reasonable quality, they are relatively simple to build after you get used to the instructions. The Drawers are all soft close and have good Castled joins which you glue and pin yourself, but I found that better to ensure I had great coverage of wood glue. The finish on the doors is pretty good and the doors are solid and relatively heavy with soft close hinges, cant attest to the longevity or hard wearing yet but they are better than a lot of the prebuilt cabinets from the big box stores. If you are a reasonable DIY practitioner these are easy to build, the secret will be can you install them square, plumb and level to accept a good countertop!
