Overall the price points for the (1) pallet of 4"x8" Belgium blocks was a very good deal, and none of my blocks were broken or even chipped! The overall experience could have been better in the following ways: 1) Delivery should have had a forklift to position the pallet to the client's preferred location. 2) Block sizes were not uniform as indicated in the website description, so I had to carefully select between thicker vs thinner blocks. Overall, the transaction went very well, and I hope this helps the next happy HD customer.

Chipping corners on multiple pavers a week after installing. The chipping occurred with no use of the patio. This was installed On a concrete slab with a base of Masonary sand done by a master stonemason with over 40 years in the industry. Called MSI and emailed with no response. Local Home Depot was absolutely no help. Very disappointing!

these stones do not look like online photo, are not even the same size. They are very dark grsy not light granite. They look paintef or coated.

It's a box of rocks. They're just what I need to trim a building. My crate arrived short 26 stones. My local store says they can't help me and the support line just routes me into automated menu limbo...help!

Although the delivery was 3 days later than Home Depot's tracking said everything arrived in tact! 100% not a broken piece!!! Props to the shippers and packaging I guess. Now you might get some cracks later because of the nature of the stone. It seems brittle and has some cracks through it on couple of stones by nature, but if you want to avoid that get concrete ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The stone looks fabulous, the rest is up to you!

Product is beautiful, there is a pattern to follow, but difficult. You received different sizes to make pattern. Ordered 2 pallets, cost almost 3000.00, a few tiles on one pallet broken, lots more on second. That was disappointing, we have lots of left overs so will deal with it. Breakage not truckers fault. Wood pallets not stronge enough to carry weight. Too much weight per pallet caused breakage. Breakage is reason for 3 star rating, tiles alone get 5 star. Order a different palet of pavers to make circle for fire pit, different company etc, no breakage, lot less weight on pallet. We had this delivered directly to house, found delivery people very nice, helpful, polite. They called day before to arrange time of delivery. Photo is work in progress

The travertine is very colorful and fits together in the pattern nicely. It's a great natural looking stone. It's tumbled so it does have some pits, holes, but not an excessive amount, and that just adds to the natural look. We might have it sealed yet as we see that when it is wet the colors are greatly enhanced. I recommend it as an awesome solution to covering a concrete patio.

It was not purchased for it's intended use, but we found it easier to use off of the mesh due to the glue to hold it in place making the product unlovely, and unstable. After we figured that out it went smoothly and was beautiful

The Good The stones are beautiful. The completed flagstone project easily added thousands to my home value (3 pallets cost me about $1400). Look at the fantastic kaleidoscope of stones colors in the pics! The beauty of the finished work is the reason for my 4-star rating. Call me crazy, but I only deduct one star because of all the bad/ugly stuff below. The Bad Cutting stones and mixing mortar is a dusty and dirty job! Quite annoying too how each "mat" of stones is wrapped like a Twinkie in plastic. You'd think the Twinkied stones would be dust-free and ready to be mortared ... but no, that would be too easy! Yes, you still gotta wash the stones to get all that dust off. The mats are fairly award to handle too (each has 6 stones). And oh yeah, having to take time off my day job to hang around for hours waiting for my 3 crates of stones was no joy either .... The Ugly As a previous reviewer carefully detailed, it does indeed take "forever" to install these mats. Hear this: even after lots of practice, I averaged only about 10 square feet per hour. See the step-by-step process below to understand why so slow. Also mentioned by previous reviewers, many stones fall off the mats (glued doesn't hold well), and the thickness of the stones vary widely. The Broken Other reviewers have complained about broken stones. I was not pleased either to find about 10% were broken in my first crate (far fewer were broken in the other crates). But after becoming an expert in this dirty job, I now realize 10% broken stones is no big deal since you wind up cutting many stones anyway for border areas. The Pattern Wasn't real obvious to me: the mats can be laid side-by-side in an offset pattern. In the diagram below each mat has six stones, numbered 1 thru 6. Each of the six stones in a mat has a very different shape. Unwrap your Twinkie mats and wash to get the dust off. Before mixing mortar, layout your mats per the above pattern. Use an angle grinder with a diamond disc to cut stones for along wall/borders. Now pick up all the mats and the cut stones and set to the side (need to make room for the mortar). Take a break. Catch your breath. Make sure your stomach is full and your bladder is empty before proceeding to the next steps. If you're working solo (like crazy me was), mix 30 lbs of mortar at a time (half a bag). Slosh down your mortar with a 1/2" notched trowel all over you work area. Lay down your mats and cut stones as already planned above (no time to think/plan now ... that mortar is starting to harden) Wiggle all the mats and cut stones are into the mortar. Use a 6" putty knife to press mortar between all the stones (skip this if you want to extend the agony by using grout instead). Start washing the excess mortar off your rocks. Use a big sponge and a 5-gallon bucket of water; surprisingly, doesn’t seem to matter how dirty the wash water gets since the mortar tends to sink to the bottom of the bucket! Now go reward yourself with a beer. You'll be drunk and exhausted but you can repeat the above steps for up to 4 beers a day!

We needed something to put sticks in to burn in our stick burning stove so Joe stacked cement block at the back of our Desert Garden. The blocks didn't fit in with the garden so Joe found the Santa Barbara National Slate Tiles at Home Depot. He used Versabond to cement it to the blocks. It has been 3 weeks now and we love the look.

Purchased to cover a concrete step to match exterior wall. Matched perfectly and looks great. Because of the small area I had I would have preferred individual stones. Had to tear stones from mesh to fill in. The glue that holds on the mesh is thick requiring a fairly thick coat of mortar. Did approximately 70 square feet. All complete in about 12 hours of labor. Suggest sealing stone prior to grouting... Makes clean up easier. Also the use of a grout bag works well

Not many were broken in shipping. Looks really nice with a grey grout. Adhered well to concrete steps and porch. Not too slick in rain. Love the look! Be sure to seal well before grouting as they are pretty permeable.

this product is light weight enough and asthetically pleasing to the eye. I used it to update my fireplace, it came out beautifully. I tried using as a path stone however, I found the stone not strong enough for foot traffic only decorative use.

This product came in as about foot size few in a plastic bags twice, twice returned. It's not the same thing HDpt send me. Different thing.

I installed 16 pallets (40,000 pounds) of pavers around our pool and pavilion and they look great. Install took time, but was not too difficult using a 10” wet cut tile saw. I did have some breakage, particularly the largest rectangles, but given the irregular shape around the pool, I was able to waste to about 5%.

Should not say "rectangle " in description!!!

Delivery was received as stated on the given date & within the delivery timeframe. Delivery guy was professional & pleasant. Belgium blocks where as described, disbursed in the yard for various projects & look great! Thank you!

Not the best but worked out for landscaping edging A lot of undersized pieces

Product was in good shape when delivered and matched description. I did not use the mesh (hadn't planned on it from beginning). Removed stones from mesh and placed individually on steps (tread and risers).

I am putting them in a sandbed, not in concrete so it is a little tricky to put enough sand and get it level so they dont break. I dont want more concrete in my backyard though, they look nice and they pack them well with mesh and segment by segment. You have 48 pieces of segments of about 6 slates in each segment wrapped and glued on the bottom of mesh and then wrapped in plastic and stacked on a pallet for shipping. so far, none broke in transit.

Great material. A little but difficult to transport the mesh sheets with the rocks glued on but we managed. End result is beautiful, we get many compliments. Use lots of mud and refer to the MSI instructional video on YouTube. Don’t forget a wet saw!

I would have selected a more reddish color

I thought I was getting 4'' by 4'' by 8'' cobblestones. some are only 2'' thick?
