Customer Reviews for Makita Pneumatic 18-Gauge 2 in. Brad Nailer

The Makita air nailer works perfect, almost identical to the old trusty craftsman. Same trigger, same type of safety system, same working pressure. We are wondering if it has the same identical parts? We needed a 2 inch air nailer to finish nailing the molding, when our 30 year old craftsman air nailer died. Hopefully this one will last 30 years.

I have many nailers and was afraid of some of the reviews on this one, one of the best And performing at this price. I would buy again. Not one misfire and gave refinished my basement putting reclaimed wood on walls and all the trim plus chair rail.

Used a cheap brad nailer before this. The Makita drives the brads without damaging the surface. Good value.

So far so good. Seems to be working fine.

I use this as my main trim gun for baseboard, door/window casing, quarter round, shoe mounding etc. It shoots reliably and cleanly every time I need to trim something out. Great gun!

I have to admit I haven't had a chance to use it yet. As with all the other Makita products I have, I'm I'm sure I'll be very pleased with it when the time comes to use it.
