The product is much easier to work with than typical wood laminate. Goes down easy. Cuts easy. Waterproof characteristic is great. Very durable top layer. I had to move some furniture across the surface and it did not mar at all. Highly recommended.

The flooring is absolutely beautiful. It looks like natural wood is installed very easily, and is easy to maintain.

Floors were easy to install after a couple short youtube videos and tricks of the trade. The cost to value was perfect for our budget. We have four dogs and put this floor in all common areas of the house and master bedroom. No scratches at all.

We purchased this for over 3100 sq feet of our home and have installed about 1200 sq ft thus far. We are no experts. Looks great, to get it in without breaking be sure to tap from away from the seam towards it. The “feel” of when it is in is key.

Bought 2 boxes to complete our flip house. Arrived broken to pieces - none of it was usable. Now unable to do trim, install sink, install doors. A major setback! Would not rush another order. Fed up with on line sales of flooring!

This product is very fragile, the corners break easily. I loved it at first but over time pieces are chipping and i havent even had that long. im upset because we spent over 6k for this "luxury" flooring and its not worth the price tbh.

Had to make 3 orders due to damaged pieces. This was after the original order was 2 weeks late.

Ordered ten boxes of this to do a room at my house and picked them up at my local Home Depot. The boxes were not visibly damaged on the outside, yet upon opening, every single box had broken pieces of flooring in it. Most of the breakage was at the ends, but several had boards with chips in the long side of the boards. As beautiful as this flooring is, I will not risk reordering it because there is no guarantee the next batch will not also be damaged. Had to send my handyman home and haul all this flooring back to the store.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the recent purchase of your luxury vinyl floor planks. Upon delivery, I was shocked to find that nearly half of the planks were damaged, rendering them unusable for installation. Even more frustrating, during my attempts to reinstall the few undamaged pieces, the attachment points proved to be flimsy and began falling apart.

This flooring looks and feels amazing. It was very easy to install. I was able to complete the kitchen in a single day.

Unfortunately each box of 8 planks contained 2 or 3 planks with a chipped corner or a chip on the edge in the middle. The installers were able to work around this defect by making cuts as well as putting chipped planks underneath the new kitchen counters. It was disappointing that no Home Depot in the area carried this product in stock. A poor rating because there was no remedy other than re-order. Poor delivery because UPS must have mishandled the boxes because the outer packaged planks were the damaged ones. Average customer service because there was nothing Home Depot could do to expedite a new order.

I typically don't leave reviews, but after my ordeal with Evolution Floors and their Malibu Wide Planks collection sold by Home Depot, I feel compelled to share my experience as a cautionary tale. I spent considerable time searching for the perfect light wood oak flooring for my 912 square feet condominium. The Malibu Wide Planks collection seemed promising, boasting a variety of colors and backed by a 15-year warranty. Trusting Home Depot's reputation, I assumed they vetted their suppliers and wouldn't endorse subpar products. However, my optimism quickly turned to frustration. Within a year of installation in February 2023, the flaws became apparent. Scratches, peeling from the sides, and crunching sounds underfoot due to delamination plagued the floors. Despite following all installation and care instructions meticulously, the vinyl planks rapidly deteriorated. Contacting Home Depot proved fruitless, as they cited their return policy and directed me to Evolution Floors for warranty claims. Evolution Floors' response was equally disappointing, with initial denial and delay tactics. Only after persistence did they agree to send an inspector, whose dubious report attempted to downplay the extent of the defects. When presented with evidence to the contrary, Evolution Floors begrudgingly replaced only a fraction of the defective planks. Subsequent attempts to address ongoing issues were met with silence, leaving me feeling cheated and deceived. In summary, the Malibu Wide Planks collection from Evolution Floors not only failed to meet basic quality standards but also exposed a glaring gap in accountability between the retailer and the manufacturer. Buyer Beware: what Home Depot labels as "luxury" may turn out to be nothing more than a costly headache.

Do NOT buy this flooring. Very difficult to install and FRAGILE. We lost so many pieces to breakage as they were being tapped in. A completely awful experience that will stop me from ever buying this type of flooring, ever again.

Product was fine but color did not match the rest of my decor. Darker than it looked online. It’s always difficult to match colors from a computer screen but Home Depot gave excellent service in the return. Will definitely buy from Home Depot again! Great customer service!

Very nice color and quality was good. A few broken ends but I just planned ahead and used them on the ends where that connection was not needed. They appear to be sturdy and my hope is they last.

My husband and I purchased Evolutions Floors vinyl flooring from Home Depot online in September of 2022. We took several months in picking out just the right type of product and color, that we thought would work best with our complete home remodel. We loved the color and look of the flooring. It seemed perfect. We hired installers through Home Depot who did a great job with the installation. However, almost immediately we began to see various size scratches, dents, dings, and cracks in the flooring; some large and some small. Many of the scratches and dents are highly visible, and we have continued to see new damage almost on a weekly basis. My husband and I are seniors and have no children or pets. We do not wear shoes, but only slippers inside our home. We keep our home immaculate and are careful with what we own. It became clear to us that this product was defective and substandard in nature. Therefore, we contacted Home Depot and Evolutions Floors regarding our concerns. Before our purchase, we were informed that this flooring was highly durable and had a lifetime warranty, but we never received an actual copy of the warranty until we began to express our concerns regarding the quality of the product. Home Depot initially sent out the flooring installers to determine whether it was an installation issue or not. They determined it was not an installation issue. We agree with that assessment. The installation was done professionally from our point of view. Evolutions Floors then sent out a certified flooring inspector of their choosing with Home Depot representatives present during the inspection at our request. Based on the flooring inspector’s findings, Evolutions Floors’ position was that the damage to the floor fell under the “exclusions” of the warranty, which we feel are highly subjective to interpretation. Before the inspection we put blue painter’s tape on the floor to identify the damage for the inspector. As we were pulling up the tape after the inspection, we saw that the actual finish of the flooring at the edges of the plank was coming up with the tape after having only been on the floor for a short period of time. This was another clear indication of the poor quality of the product. We reached out again to Home Depot and Evolutions Floors to challenge their inspector’s findings and conclusions. They indicated we would have to get our own certified flooring inspection to challenge their conclusions. However, we have not been able to find a reputable certified flooring inspector in Las Vegas. We did contact one company that no longer does flooring inspections in Las Vegas. They indicated they are familiar with and would not recommend or trust the company that Evolutions Floors hired for their inspection of our flooring. We are now at a standstill and are not receiving any response from either Home Depot or Evolutions Floors regarding our concerns. We find ourselves very frustrated and disappointed with Home Depot and Evolutions Floors. We see this product as clearly substandard and defective in nature, and that we have to be unreasonably careful with the floor to avoid any further damage. Therefore, we believe it should be Home Depot and/or Evolutions Floors responsibility to replace and install the flooring with a more durable and better made product of our choosing at their cost.

The flooring is very beautiful and once installed, it looks great! But the quality of the planks was very disappointing. Many of the planks were chipped. Had to cut back a lot of the edges. Once installed, had to use filler to corrects some chopped corners. The planks was very thinner, flimsy and seemed like it would break in half very easily. Overall, happy with the product, just wish it was more sturdy.

I thought bright most white cocoa wood vinyl plank. I received all tan oak wood and one white cocoa wood from ordered :( Your picture looked different when I got it. Next time Better if I enter to store and look at other wood and open the box

We were comfortable with the color of the flooring. But, until the floor was laid, was when we really loved it. Great product and easy installation.

I ordered 18 cases and 5 of them were damaged and needed to be returned. I ordered another 5 boxes only to have 4 of the boxes damaged and unusable. The crews at Malibu Wide Plane and/or Home Depot need to be more careful with this BRITTLE product. Add some styrofoam to the edges to protect the product. I cannot recommend this product to anyone. If you do, double your order so you'll hopefully have enough undamaged product to complete the job. Highly frustrating, costing me money and will never buy from this company again.

Pretty and durable. No awful odors as very chemically sensitive and had no problem with this product.

I wanted a floor with very little grain pattern. I was not able to see a sample so chose it from the on-line photo. It was exactly what I wanted. The flooring is textured; it feels good underfoot and looks like it will be easy to keep clean. Just installed, so can't speak to long term wear. Had some delivery issues which were handled very well by a store employee. FYI - delivery tracking to the store does not mean it will be available for pickup in the next day or so.....

The initial and subsequent deliveries of this product have had all the flanges bent & broken, with pieces falling out of the box upon first opening it. The handling on this product during delivery has unfortunately not allowed my crews to install them and see how they perform there. The customer service at the store was exceptional and understanding & don't hold it against them.
