Ordered these planters to put on my front porch. I was pleased with the quality and they look great on each side of my door. There is no holder with holes to let water drain, but my husband made two quickly and they work well. Would recommend these, although they are a bit pricey.

Not happy with the shelf inside of planter. Not very strong for the price.

Ordered two for front porch and love them! Didn't plant in them, set planted baskets on top...looks wonderful and it looks like it is planted without all the work!

The planters have a major design flaw but the review of only 300 characters does not give enough space to fully describe. The platform does not seal off from the rest of the planter and if you use dirt in the top, it falls through and when a hard rain came, the platform fell several inches inside.

I opened the box and immediately returned it to the store. This is a really ridiculous and poorly thought out product. It has a water reservoir in the bottom that you can't tell when it's low, or too full, etc. So this makes it pretty useless. Then it has a little trough thing you place about halfway down to put the dirt on. It doesn't completely seal the top half with the dirt, so the dirt will constantly be falling below into the water reservoir...and eventually end up with a bottom full of mud. They should stop selling these as "self-watering" because they don't.

Very nice planter. Will probably buy another. Looks classy.

I have a Mayne mailbox post that is okay, but looks plastic.. However, these planters have a textured matte surface that enhances the architectural detail and does not look plastic. This height is particularly good with standard deck rail height. I purchased them because they are light weight, self watering, and easy to move.

I bought this product as a companion to the square planter. The quality is great and this product is also attractive.

I have been looking for a tall planter for a long time and finally found it! I bought 2 more after I received the first one. It matches the black shutters on our house perfectly. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the planter needs to be weighted down in the wind. We live on Lake Erie and when we had some windy days the planters blew over. We weighted each of them with a bag of sand in the bottom and haven't had any problems since.

This planter was the perfect addition to my other pots of various sizes that are on my front lanai. It adds interest and height and makes the arrangement very striking and virtually maintenance free. I particularly like the built-in water reservoir.
