I bought 55 of these boards at the Lakewood, CA store. I gloved up and after moving approximately 30 boards I was able to go through the rest of the pallet. It took some time but I'm happy with the boards I selected.

I’m not even on the fence on this one: great fencing if you pull out the few poor ones mixed into the pallet.

These redwood dogear are your better fence product on the market . Mendocino redwood does not warp. Fence projects, I recommend this product. There are other dogear fence products out there that will warp on you. Just assure you do research. Happy Fencing.

I tried to use the less expensive product before in a small application and found that they warped horrible even after nailing down. This product works much better but is expensive. The only other problem is you have to really pick through a pallet of materials to get good quality lumber not full of knots or other visually poor imperfections. After that, you will get a quality fence that looks great.

I recommend this. Do not use Cedar, it shrinks and bends over very little time

Built a 80 ft. Fence, a few boards were cracked but only used the good ones. Will return cracked boards.

The fence looks great.

Great fencing

No checks or splits, reasonable color mix, little sap, consistent lengths. Suggest putting up within a week or so from purchasing while wood still has some moisture in it; some curl will occur if left out to air dry before installation. Would definitely purchase again in the future.

Very few board like the photo. It's rough finish.

Used the fence boards to build planter boxes for my wife. The redwood should hold up well and the looks good. (Used the scrap wood to build a house for a feral cat the has 'adopted' us)

Fair (to poor) quality wood- poorly cut on the wrong grain lines OR too soft for redwood, too brittle. I had an overlapping privacy fence approximately 90' long uprighted about a month ago. Within two weeks, there were over 20 split pieces of wood right down the middle. I could not easily pry them out without compromising the entire fence. I will not be using this wood for the other 3 sides. Very expensive mistake. Very disappointed. If this is the best HD has, I'm going elsewhere.

The price for Redwood is slightly more, but well worth it. My wife loves it.

I had to hand pick each board to get the ones I desired. They fence cam out beautiful.
