After some time the Allen bolt will strip. Battled a while to get it out but failed. Called Milwaukee and, sad to say, they were completely not helpful. Recommend a repair center 25 minutes away. I finally prevailed but wish I had waited to get newer chuck-less version. Tool is LOUD and not worth the money compared to its competitors.

Would not buy again. Battery does not like to stay in. Works ok but have used other brands that are much better. Have not used it alot. And now can't use at all because one contact that Battery slides into broke off. Used to be able to take to home depot for repairs but no longer. Stores no longer repair buyer has to deal with shipping to repair centers now. One reason I bought milwaukee was to get repairs in store. I have bought alot of milwaukee stuff but looking into changing brands now.

I also own a Makita oscillating multi-tool which has more features and is more powerful, but this one fits into much smaller spaces. It's fantastic for sanding or cutting in tight spaces. It is also very lightweight. This is a must-have tool for getting through many unforeseen project surprises. I highly recommend it!

returned this, spend extra to get the one with the tool less blade removal, this is the cheapo version.

Milwaukees M12 line is pretty impressive, this oscillating tool didn't disappoint. Made quick work of some around the house jobs. Very light and maneuverable not bulky like other brands. Definitely recommend owning.

The Milwaukee M12 Multi-Tool is compact and powerful. It’s well balanced for one handed use. However, big disappointment for me is that you need a hex key to change blades. If not a quick, release lever, I would expect a hex key storage compartment built-in to the front tool itself at the very least. The main reason for buying this is because I wanted a compact version of my M18 Multi-Tool. I scored “Yes” to recommending this product, because there may be someone out there, who doesn’t mind carrying a hex key in their pocket for the sole purpose of changing blades.

About 75% of my tools are Milwaukee brand but this tool is useless. It.is extremely loud and the battery will not stay in. The noise I can take care of with earplugs, but the battery vibrating out everytime I turn it on is unacceptable. I would not recommend this tool.

Good tool, handy as can be, compact size is great on tight areas. Slightly underpowered and short throw limits its abilities a little.

Tool started to overheat and smoke . Took it back for a refund.
