The tool to get if you are installing more than a few expansion pex fittings or need to do so in tight quarters. Like all Milwaukee tools this is solidly built and performs its function well. The manual alternatives are terribly impractical and as a certified hand therapist I can tell you they won't do your joints any favors. This not only expands but also rotates the expansion head which is something manual versions do not do and is necessary for proper installation. This fits into tight spaces which in plumbing is an inevitability. You can tell that 1" is about the max size fitting this is built for as it works pretty hard at that level, be sure to use the included lubricant and keep the second battery ready to rotate a fresh one in when the other runs out of juice. This will allow uninterrupted use. Expansion pex is superior if you care about maximum and uninhibited water flow.

The description doesn't do it justice... It's been a life saver.. can't wait to buy the large toolbox that goes with it...

I recently bought this tool box to go along with my large pack out tool box and pack out organizer. Quality seems to very good and plenty of room. Only complaint would be the wheel wells take up some of the room in the bottom to prevent laying other power tool boxes down flat but still doable. Not sure why so many have problems with the wheels breaking, seem pretty well built to me but I haven't really used mine in a rough environment. Overall I am impressed like all my other Milwaukee products, built to last!!

the blade sticks out about a 1/8 of an inch and I cut my thumb open reaching into my backpack. I am completely stunned that milwaukee didn't notice that flaw in their design. these are the best pex cutters I have ever seen or used just need to be more careful when reaching around cutters even when closed.

I'm not a plumber , but this tool will make DIY a lot easier ..

The packout is versitlie and keeps your valuable tools dry on the job site, very rugged design and hold alot of weight. I have had the packout for about a month now, only thing I would change is adding more to my collection so that I can have all my tools every where I go.

Great tool storage system, made with heavy duty materials and fits my tools perfectly. My only feedback is the handle doesn't retract all the way down so the box doesnt fit in my trunk unless I lay it down that why i gave i th four stars.

Been using it for few weeks and love it keeps everything organized and I always know where everything is, only thing it needs is a spot to hang my hard hat. The best feature is the storage room you have and how easy it is to move around with the big wheels

I freaking love this tool box. Inside I have stored: -Hammer drill -Impact driver -Sawzall -Metal cutting circular saw -Charger and batteries -Hammer, 16" channel lock pliers -4 canvas pouches stuffed with bits, wrenches, sockets, hole saws, etc. -2 cases of drill bits and one case of sawzall blades -A dozen-odd hand tools -Multimeter -Two tape measures There's STILL a little room left. This a very solid tool box that I'm sure will last me years. The wheels are huge and I barely notice when I'm pulling it over gravel or dirt. The handle is extra heavy duty (my previous tool bag was the large black Husky from Home Depot, a good bag but the handle broke when I tried pulling it up some stairs). The Milwaukee Packout fits perfectly into a standard gang box, you just have to angle it down to get it in. I can't say enough good things about it, definitely worth the money as it will out last all the competitors.

Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! Fits all my M12 bandsaw and drill as well as my M18 One Key kit, Hackzall, and combo charger. Bought the Large Tool box for my hand tools and drill bits. Totally worth having, tough and reliable. Im getting the Tool Box next to complete the setup.

PEX Expander works really well. Much faster and easier than trying to use the manual tool.

This new modular system that Milwaukee introduced as the packout is the best I've tried. It is a well built and well thought out system. I am a contractor and use my tools on a daily basis. My only complaint is the collapsible handle on the roller tote. My truck has a roll n lock bed cover and this rolling tote will not fit under. Sometimes I do have to leave the bed cover open to haul materials but like to keep it closed when I can. Right now I remove the two screws that holds the handle assembly in place and pull out the handle so I can lock my bed cover. Got plans to make spring loaded pins to make that a quicker process.

Works decent for the 1/2" however when doing 3/4" it struggles and sounds like it's dieing. Also unlike my Ridgid tools that the batteries give you consistent power till it dies, this you can feel and hear it struggles and almost stop once it gets to 1/2 charge left and need to swap batteries. Needs bigger batteries or be corded as option. Will be returning to purchase one with bigger batteries.

i purchased this 22 in rolling tool box as well as the various other boxes to organize my tools. so far i am very pleased. everything seems very thick and rugged, and no thin plastic like some other brands. wheels are big to roll over various terrains with ease. plenty of space inside, as well as a removable box. boxes slide on top and click in, and unclip with the squeeze of a trigger. metal on the corners aswell for extra ridgidness and overall support, combined with handles on the side to pick up with ease. favorite tool box i have purchased so far. This is a well built tool box, I have loaded it down with 150 lbs and it performed as expected. I have been using it for a month and my only concern it the built in hardware for tie-downs mounted on front and back, they don’t seem as beefy as other boxes.

Love this tool it comes with all you need to get to work . It expands 1/2 and 3/4 oponor all day with no issues . It does a good job with 1" but heats up a bit around the tenth back to back fitting . I love the size and weight of it and the light is really handy .

I own a lot of Milwaukee power tools and love them always durable and don't have issues with them. I purchased the Milwaukee M12 Pex expander and love it. I used a manual expander tool before and it takes time and results were not as exact as this tool. The Milwaukee rep at the store is awesome, super knowledgable he knows Milwaukee. The tool works great pull the trigger it expands and rotates automatically can't complain about that. It feels solid and works solid I don't feel like this tool will wear out, overall a great buy.

The expansion tool is made of high quality materials and should last, like most Milwaukee tools. Extremely simple to use and makes leak free connections every time without any guesswork. The tool is pretty pricey, but in my case, I'm re-plumbing my entire home, and it makes connections so simple, it was more than worth it.

Great tool! Perfect addition to the Milwaukee collection of tools and Packout arsenal. Makes any small or lager plumbing project that much easier.

I work mostly in the shop, but when I do get sent out on a service call it's incredible to have a packout ready to go. I've used this to take my tools on a flight to a job site in another state, and also around the corner from the shop. Incredibly versatile system and major convenience to have one. Completely satisfied.
