Great batteries with an even better charger. It has m12 and m18 charging capabilities.

Mikita vs Milwaukee battery sander
My palm sander is the only tool in my arsenal that isn’t Milwaukee M18. I really want to like the M18 sander but the ergonomics, weight, battery life and dust collection just don’t measure up to the Makita 18v LXT.
My Makita handles a full day of work on one battery. The location of the on/off and speed control on the Makita LXT are vastly better than the Milwaukee. I don’t want my hands shrouding over control buttons when I’m working. I also prefer the additional weight on Makita for control.

Not Reliable short live span!
The trigger switch has electronics in it and it will Fail will NOT last 5 years. If you cut wood thinner than a 2x4 it will hang up with the blade guard and bind when you are trying to cut, making this a DANGEROUS situation . I have 18 Milwaukee tools but this saw is not worth buying. I can't afford to buy one every several years. Could have been a great saw if these problems did not exist. Milwaukee does not do enough testing with the right people who are professionals .

Do Not Buy
I’m a huge Milwaukee fan, but they didn’t get it right on this one. The brake on this tool fails after a couple of uses. Now it is only a $4 fix but annoying that it needs to be done. I’ve had this sander for a little over a year and have had to do it 3x already. If you plan on using it more than once or twice a month I’d buy a different model/brand. I’ve posted a couple pics of the brake and internal of sander as well as my tool collection just so this isn’t considered a “troll” review .

Dependable and Enduring
After the first charge subsequent charges seem a bit quicker even when the battery is completely empty. This is a big battery pack runs for a long time. It's hard to give a definitive time because different tools use different power.

Great Black Friday value on the sale of two 5.0Ah batteries for $200 plus selecting a free tool. I got the M12 router and it is another jewel by Milwaukee and Home Depot! And another dual voltage charger and a BIG bag!

Not up to the 'Fuel' name
Hugely disappointed. Too much vibration, loud high-pitch noise setting off my tinnitus, and overall worse than my temporary-replacement Hitachi and far worse than my old DeWalt XR. I even bought a corded Milwaukee only to experience the same thing.

Sander works just fine, its the flemizy attachment that connects vacuum hose thats terrible
There is a grey/clear plastic sleeve that slides over the sander receiver on one side and the other part of the sleeve connects to vacuum fitting. The amount of stress placed on this flimsey sleeve is fairly significant when the vacuum hose is added. Very poor design to say the least. Anyway it split on both sides in a matter of seconds of use. Hand to improvise with 100 mile an hour duct tape. Looked everywhere for a replacement but nowhere to be found. I really like and enjoy my Milwaukee tools and i have bunch. This has been the only one so far that i have found to be cheaply built.

You just can't beat the milwaukee m18 batteries and tools
I have been using these a while and these 5.0 batteries will get a lot of work done on a charge. I use them in a variety of tools from drills to saws to leaf blower to weed eater etc and they are work horses. I love that every one has a charge indicator - not just the higher AH batteries like some vendors.
I hav e several chargers on a charging station and a variety of batteries on tap so even if I'm working the whole long day with them I'm never at a loss for power. These 5.0's are a good size for a drill or impact driver although sometimes I like the smaller ones for light jobs. But where I'm going to be doing more these is the ones I reach for. My drill is probably the most heavily used of all my milwaukee tools so I use this size battery a lot.

Wish I never switched
I switched from dewalt once I started seeing my friend buying all the m18 fuel stuff seemed a lot better so a few months ago I made the switch I wish I never did and it has caused me nothing but time and wasted money I’m on my 3 rd fuel drill set my second multi tool and the 2 month old sander just stoped working I will probably never buy another tool and look for a better platform there tools are not worth the money if I could go back in time I would keep my xr/ flexvolt stuff and never switched when u use and rely on these toools to pay your bills it is important to have a reliable tool Milwaukee just Is not that and way over priced

I was sceptical at first but was swayed to pull the trigger on my purchase thanks to the reviews. it works amazing with a 8amp battery. 4 stars because of the quality of the dust collector.

The dust collector is cheap, and fills up fast. I wasn't planning on using the dust collector because I bought the handheld Milwaukee M18 vacuum for over $100 thinking the two tools would be compatible, but they aren't. Home Depot doesn't carry an adapter to make it work either. I bought an adapter elsewhere, but that didn't fit right. I now bought a set of 3 adapters online and hope that I can get one of them to fit. Also, the sanding pads Home Depot recommends don't have the right hole pattern. I had to measure, and find those online too. If this just came with an adapter to fit the vacuum hose, it would have saved me a lot of headache. My stand-up plug-in vacuum has the same diameter hose as the Milwaukee handheld, so it won't work with that either. Another thing, I find myself accidentally turning off the tool while sanding because of the placement of the power button.

Milwaukee Tools has once again come up with a very handy tool. Milwaukee tools and batteries are phenomenal. It is a great battery for all of my Milwaukee power tools. It has a good run and recharge time. I have two of these unit so I could simultaneously charge two batteries. It is a great battery and should last for a long time if not FOREVER. Highly Recommend.

Very handy to have a battery sander, no cord in the way, lots of power, dust collection is great, only complaint would be it's not the most comfortable sander I've used. It's by no means terrible but definitely takes some time to get used to. Took 80 grit with a 5.0 battery to the wood top of my workebech and even leaned on it a bit and never stopped the pad. I didnt know I needed the variable speed option untill I used it, very convenient for light sanding or rounding an edge or blemish!! Overall Milwaukee didnt disappoint once again!

The Milwaukee CP3.0 holds as much juice as the full size M18 XC, but it's significantly less weight. My original CP2.0 provided about 2 hours of run time while the new CP20.3 provides three hours (the same run time as the large XC). Charged over night, a few CP3.0 can last the entire day on the job site without requiring me to pull out my charger. And did I mention that they are lighter weight. Charge quickly, just like the old CP2.0. And as a bonus, the Milwaukee batteries have the indicator light which help me determine if I should charge my batteries or let them run closer to out (which is what you want to do). I've been using Milwakee tools for 5 years and have impressed with their quality and durability.
